Dr. Kimes is a stellar example of what all doctors should strive to be! He is patient, understanding and compassionate. He takes time to personally review your history, answers all questions and values your feedback. Before I found Dr. Kimes I had all but given up that I would ever be successfully treated for my chronic pain due to my Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome... I had completely lost hope for the future. Other pain management doctors I had seen in the past either would not treat my condition, offered me treatments that weren't even useful for my type of pain, or worse- treated me as if I was a criminal or a drug seeker. Dr. Kimes was so different! He got me into see a proper Physical Therapist, immediately got me the braces I needed and beyond filling my medications... he offered me unique and innovative treatments that I had never been offered in the past. I feel as if I am truly in good hands with Dr. Kimes and I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. Even though I have to live with my chronic pain, at least I now know that I have someone in my corner to help me through it! I cannot recommend him enough. Yes... his office is busy, and he clearly has his hands full. But you will be hard pressed to find another doctor of this caliber anywhere else.... so it is totally worth the time you will spend in his office.

I spoke to the referring physician via Zoom and agreed to return. The referring physician emailed Dr Marrero the details. At the second appointment, no mention of their ineptitude was mentioned other than by me and no apologies were offered. An appointment was scheduled for hip injections at 9am on this date. Days later staff called and advised they had overbooked another procedure and could I move to 1pm, which I did. Between dates I received 5 confirmations including 3 today all for a 1pm start. Upon arrival was advised 1pm was overbooked with finally, after much cajoling, was told a minimum 1 hour wait. Simply unacceptable and I left, never to return. This appears to be a Doctor that is not concerned about patients time with a care free unapologetic attitude.

While the nurse practitioner that I saw a few times there was nice enough, I never actually met the doctor that I was assigned to (Dr. Vukotic). She never bothered to introduce herself on any of my visits. I wanted this to be my primary care office but they simply do not care. I was experiencing pain and reached out various times about it. I had to push to get scans done to find out what was going on. Despite more than one alarming result from the scans, I NEVER heard back from the doctor or the office at all. It has been nearly a year since I had the scans they ordered (only because I advocated for myself and they wanted to shut me up). NOBODY reached out to me to discuss the results or to even follow up on how I was feeling. I was left to Google explanations of these results because nobody bothered to reach out. I was worried about some of the findings, which seemed serious, so I sought out a different doctor and office. They acted quickly to address my concerns and referred me to other specialists. I ended up having surgery. The only communication I had received from North Roswell Internal Medicine since my scans was a handful of promotional emails about something they were selling. That is, until today when I received an automated email reminder that I was "overdue" for my annual wellness visit. I am not overdue for anything, but they are overdue in noticing that I exist and had medical needs they completely neglected. They did the same thing with my husband. He also had something come up that they received results for but they have not reached out to him either. He and I and our adult son all changed doctor's offices because these people are a joke and don't care about their patients at all. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend this practice and wish I had an option to rate them negatively because that is what they deserve. Good luck if you decide to put your health in these people's hands.
