Livery Studio was the perfect space for our fundraising event this past weekend. The open space with flexible seating was perfect for our 100-plus guests, who were all blown away by the facility (from easy parking, clean bathrooms, lounge seating, beautiful murals, private meeting rooms, bar area, wine fridge, full-size refrigerator for storage, to ambient lighting and details like a coat rack. I appreciated the plug/ play aspect of the AV setup, which removes stressors of renting speakers, mics + bringing proper cords, sound check, etc. Yvonne was able to do a walk-through with the team, followed by a layout, and even down to a detailed map for our guests. We used Livery for a cocktail styled event with a short program for a non-profit fundraising event, and it was the perfect setting! The design is perfectly styled, with fun colored lounge sets, cocktail tables, and a big open space! They have plenty of tables and seating (enough for about 60 people). The team was super helpful in scheduling visits and working through all the logistics, and they were great on the day-of the event as well. We held a birthday party at Livery Studio and our guests were gushing about how great the space was throughout the night. Yvonne and Michael helped us plan the seating and table arrangements prior to the event, and everything was included, no need to bring in outside equipment or furniture. I booked the Livery Studio sight unseen to host a two-day workshop for 30 people, and both the space and the experience far exceeded my expectations. Yvonne and Michael have clearly designed the studio to accommodate a wide range of events, and they set it up perfectly for our needs. Even without visiting in person, they answered every question promptly and thoughtfully, making me feel completely at ease. Their attention to detail and deep experience in the event world really showed--nothing was overlooked. The space itself is beautiful and functional, with a well-equipped kitchen, spotless bathrooms, and even a high-quality espresso machine that our group loved. What is now the Livery Studio was originally built in 1906 as the Star Saddle Livery to stable horses for guests of the Hotel Green! It's now part of the historic district and has been transformed into a very large interior space with a cool, modern vibe. While it primarily functions as a coworking office space, for us, it was reconfigured as a fabulous event space for a large welcome dinner before a wedding we were attending in Pasadena. There was a delicious taco station and beverage area in the back which worked out great. There was plenty of comfy seating and the AV system functioned perfectly. The Livery Studio is conveniently located in Old Town Pasadena. We ubered to/from our nearby airbnb, but note that although there are a few nearby parking facilities, there is no parking lot associated with the Livery and street metered parking is limited. This was a perfect event space for this party and I'm sure it's a wonderful coworking space, as well. Definitely 5 star! read more

Lovely and lively venue to host any event! We hosted our annual fundraiser here at Livery Studio and had the best experience! Our event was very successful because we held it at Livery Studio: accommodated about 100 guests, convenient food prep area for our catering team, and more than enough seating and walking space for everyone to have a wonderful time. Owners, Michael and Yvonne, are both very knowledgeable in planning and design so they helped us with tips and bits of advice on our layout. We use the projection screen to add a visual presentation and the sound system for music and announcements. The quaint space has a traditional charm yet a modern vibe, spacious and beautifully furnished with a blend of vibrant colors that gives joy and happiness on one side while there is a cool calm and collected vibe on the other side. There are also private office spaces upstairs. Toward the back, nested a fully equipped bar counter with an espresso machine, and a variety of hot teas and cold beverages. Several convenient parking structures nearby, or a private lot next door for a fee, and street-metered parking. Overall, our team and guests had a great experience at Livery Studio. I had a memorial for my sister at Livery Studio. The venue was perfect, loved the non-traditional varied seating arrangements, the extra little room that was used for a private memorial space, and the big bar area that provided a real professional serving space. The bathroom was clean, the management was very accommodating to our needs in every way. Highly recommend this space for anything - be it a birthday party, memorial, promotion congratulatory, anniversary, engagement - the space can be anything you want. Livery studio is the best place for creative individuals in Old Pasadena. The charming space was once a barn for horses! I was greeted by Michael and Yvonne, the small business owners of Livery. They showed me around the facilities and were super pleasant. I really like the interior design of the space; colorful, modern and welcoming. The first floor is a shared space for collaboration. The second floor is reserved office spaces and assigned desks. On the day of my visit, the first floor was booked for an event. As an exception, I was allowed to utilize the 2nd floor. The natural lighting from the windows was the best part of the experience. Often time, an office space feels so draining from artificial lights and white walls. The asian snacks (milk tea) was a unique touch. I really enjoyed my time at Livery Studios and look forward to my next visit. read more

Had a recent birthday party here in October 2024 and it such an amazing and beautiful space!! This co-working space is great, and came in clutch during a recent work session! I work from home and I needed to meet with someone who works from home as well so we found ourselves need of a professional space with suitable working areas. Livery met, and exceeded, all our needs! The space is modern, clean, well-maintained, and functional. It included open areas, closed-door offices, and a kitchen area equipped with silverware and other supplies. We utilized a closed-door office space which was equipped with a table, four chairs, and a whiteboard with dry-erase markers which came in handy! This place is amazing! I needed a space to work for a few hours and came across this place on Yelp. I called ahead and was given a tour by Yvonne when I arrived and chose to work upstairs with a big screen to plug into. Location is ideal for stepping out and getting a meal if you need to, nearby metered parking is plentiful and Yvonne is so amazing at showing you everything you need to know during the tour. They have really thought of everything to make this place a useable working space for one or many. I'll definitely come back to Livery when the need arises again. read more

Livery is truly one of a kind! My wife and I were looking for local coworking options in Pasadena and stumbled upon Livery. We were walking through Central Park in Pasadena one day and noticed it next to the fire station. After being weirdo's and peeking through the window, we both decided we should contact them to see if we could check out the space for a day! I emailed them via the contact form on their website to see if we could get a trial day. Yvonne (co-owner with her husband) very quickly messaged me back saying they would be more than happy to host my wife and I for the day! First off, I just want to say that Yvonne and her husband were super cool! They showed us around the space, gave us some snacks and coffee, and told us that the space was created, owned and operated by them! Truly a power couple! While having great owners is a huge plus, it would all be for nothing if the space didn't deliver though, right? Well, let me tell you! This space is incredible! They have gone over and above to make sure that every little detail is designed to give you an incredibly productive work day. The kitchen is nice and spacious, the work space is clean, bright and comfortable and the space in general is oozing with charm. Yes ooozzzzing! It is extremely apparent to me that this work space is a labor of love! I literally could fill another 3 paragraphs about the merits of this place, but I won't. Instead, I'll leave you with this. This coworking space has to be one of the best I have visited in Pasadena! And I've been to most of them! We hosted a work event for 30 of our senior leadership and management at Livery Studio. The event space is beautifully furnished with a variety of seating and tables that we used for discussion panels, workshops, and breakout discussions. They also have a bar/kitchenette stocked with plates, utensils, cups; They even had a wine cooler and beverage refrigerators for the drinks we had brought for our happy hour, and an espresso machine that we used for breakfast. We really didn't have to bring much at all and it made loading in and out of the venue a breeze! The owners, Michael and Yvonne, were incredibly helpful throughout the planning process - they recommended our caterer, provided tips for parking (we used the paid lot right next door, our guests loved the convenience), and hosted me on two separate visits prior to the event date to walk through the layout ideas. On the day of, they were there on-site to help walk us through the AV and technology, help with setup, and were next door if we had any questions. Overall, we are so happy with our experience at Livery Studio - our leadership is already asking if we'll be booking it again for next year's event. Can't recommend enough, 5 stars! read more

From a planning perspective, they make it so easy on our event team; the space and furniture are beautiful, they have a well-stocked kitchenette and bar (cups, plates, utensils, etc - along with refrigerator space for anything we need to keep cold), we never really need to bring much in terms of setup and preparation. We had our welcome dinner the day before our wedding at Livery Studio in September for approx 75 guests. The space is beautiful, and Yvonne and Michael were a great team to work with.
