They have both an outdoor and indoor space and they are pretty well equipped for AV. They also have chairs and tables as part of their package. We didn't up booking this venue as we decided it would be too hot for an outdoor event in July, but this is definitely a great find in the Altadena area for anyone venue shopping! read more

We threw our daughter's first birthday party this past weekend using the indoor venue! We were able to host around 80 family and friends! Samera did an amazing job with communication and sending me videos of the venue just so I was able to visualize placement for the other vendors I hired for the party! Just had my son's birthday party at 409 Woodbury and it was great! The property is spacious and guests were covered from the sun in different areas. The space was large enough for two bounce houses and a soft play for the little kids. Samera (owner) was great to work with, she responded to all my texts and phone calls. I really like this cozy venue! I liked it so much I had to take my maternity photos in it. It had many beautiful decoration options to choose from all I really needed to do was bring my flowers and photographer. We got lucky with the weather that weekend- it felt like summer on a January weekend and it was perfect for hosting up to 150 guests. It was exactly what we needed considering we had a variety of groups who were not familiar with each other, so the space provided fit what we wanted. We utilized the whole event space from front to back; main room to the outdoor area. The addition of the tents were a nice touch especially since we needed shade on that sunny warm day and the variety of many electrical outlets were around for my vendors to use. This venue space was exactly what I was looking for and thoroughly enjoyed working with the event space owner, Samera. This is a fantastic event space! I was recently planning an afternoon tea fundraiser event for the non profit organization the Junior League of Pasadena. We almost booked somewhere else that didn't look very nice and decided to do one more push looking for venues. We found 409 Woodbury and it seemed to check all the boxes. The owner Samera was incredible responsive. She worked with us, suggesting a Sunday all day rental to make it easier on us. It's very convenient that they already have a good amount of tables and chairs. We only had to rent a few things and they have a relationship with a rental place that is super close, they coordinate it, making it really easy. We felt really good about our women's organization booking with a woman-owned event space too! The space is clean, bright, and pretty. read more
