I visit Lagree studios regularly and have never felt dismissed -- until Live Lagree. I asked about parking validation and the instructor Brandon W responded rudely, saying they only validate for people who buy memberships directly from the studio and that "we pay ClassPass for people to attend." That comment devalued ClassPass customers and felt discriminatory. When I said I'd contact management, he told me not to come back. Management then canceled my reservation instead of addressing the conduct. Very disappointing customer service -- other studios in the area know how to treat clients. Worth knowing before you book. Not only was the workout from his less than 1/2 full class not breaking a sweat/not a workout, but they have abysmal customer service that shows they don't care about their customers - would pass on this studio as other Lagree studios have not only better instructors where you get a good workout but they also care about their clients. ---------------------------------------------------- Update: After posting my original review, the business owner publicly responded with a message that was defensive, personal, and unprofessional -- including mocking language and references to "24-hour surveillance." Unfortunately, the tone of that reply only reinforces what I experienced in person: a lack of respect and basic customer service toward paying clients. I think it speaks volumes when a business owner chooses to attack a customer online rather than take feedback professionally. For anyone considering this studio, I'd encourage reading the owner's response yourself -- it says more about the company's culture than any review ever could. There are many other Lagree studios that handle clients with professionalism and care; I'd recommend supporting those instead. Hopefully both the staff and ownership take this as an opportunity to revisit some basic customer-service training -- even a little charm school could go a long way. read more

Been coming here for a solid month now and i'm 1000% sold on lagree. The first classes were ROUGH. I was huffing, puffing, dizzy, weak in the knees, all the things, and yet I kept (and keep) coming back because of the great atmosphere and teachers! I tried a few pilates and lagree studios before settling on this gem. If you're new to lagree - like I was - I recommend trying this place out whole heartedly. All the staff here is so kind and friendly. They really try to foster a good environment here and definitely push you to go further. This is a "hands-on" correction studio, but you can always let them know if you prefer to not have hands on corrections. I personally find the hands on corrections helpful and always a friendly reminder not to dig my shoulders into my ears when i'm dying during an isometric hold. If you've been thinking about trying lagree out and are nervous, don't worry. They help you adapt the exercises and weight to your level when you can't quite get it right. Now a month in, I feel a lot stronger and I can do so much more than I could a month ago. I can't wait to see what a few months more of progress will look like! read more

Very clean and nice designing inside. I love that the machines face the mirrors so that you can see if posture is correct. I had taken classes through ClassPass with Jenny N. She is friendly, corrects posture, and I always feel stronger after. I am taking 1 star off. This is because I had forgotten my pilates sock one time and had to pay $15 there. The socks were of bad quality and honestly gave me a bit of a bad feeling because it was such a rip off and they know it. read more

This is one of the best Lagree studios in LA. It's consistently challenging. All of the instructors I've taken are so welcoming and always provide form corrections or form improvements to make the moves even more challenging (even when you DON'T want them haha). Lagree is my favorite workout, and this studio brings the heat. Also, it doesn't hurt that this studio is absolutely gorgeous. There are so many beautiful touches everywhere. read more

I've been an infrequent, frequent visitor of Live Lagree for over a year. I'm decently in shape but by no means excellent either. I love coming to the classes here as a way to introduce variety and discipline to my workouts. Over the year i've been able to experience multiple instructors and hands down I feel Brandon is the best one at Live Lagree. Brandon talks at a pace where I can easily follow and listen along. He actively walks around offering adjustments and advice when appropriate to ensure my effectiveness and safety when taking his class. His workouts are never predictable and always engaging. I love how Brandon pushes me to dig deeper and work harder, but in a way that isn't over the top. But seriously, if you're new to Pilates or looking to try a different studio/instructor look no further than Brandon at Live Lagree. Live Lagree is a much needed addition to the Brentwood Village neighborhood! I am a huge fan of Lagree Pilates in general and I am thrilled to have a megaformer class near me since the next closest one is in WeHo. This studio is gorgeous!!! I think it's their best location in LA. The megaformers are brand new, the space is huge and gorgeous and the classes are worth every dollar. The class is fast paced, the instructors give good directions and the music selection is great. I've taken classes with Noelle and they have kicked my butt in the best way! It's a great full body, low impact and challenging workout. I have taken a lot of pilates classes at different studios and this one is definitely on the more challenging side. It is nonstop for the full 50 minutes and "resting" is basically holding a plank, so be warned. They do check vaccination status at your first visit so come prepared. And definitely bring grippy socks, you will need them. read more

Had my first class today with Claudine, who I believe is the owner of the studio. I usually wait a few classes before writing a review, but this is a clear exception. This is the best pilates/lagree class I've ever taken. Period. The studio is phenomenal, a beautiful and incredibly large space. Claudine is clearly an expert at what she does. She is present, kind, encouraging, and incredibly informative. Never have I felt more attended to in a workout class, and that translated into an absolutely phenomenal workout. I absolutely LOVE coming to Live Lagree, almost every instructor is so motivating, inspiring and helpful when it comes to moves and techniques! It's both gentle and empowering during each class! The only thing I avoid here is Brandon. Nice guy but I can't stand the way he instructs the class. It's never uplifting or encouraging words it's always "you can do better" type comments towards the class or specific individuals, so if you like that go for his classes but in talking with a lot of other women we avoid his classes as much as we can. I always think if Brandon was instructing my first ever pilates class I would never go again, he would turn me off of the whole idea of it if that's what my first experience of it was. Women (who make up the majority of pilates classes) like to be uplifted, celebrated and empathetically encouraged by our capabilities not put down or told we're not doing enough (we already deal with so much of that outside Live Lagree doors lol) so Brandon if you read this, I hope you soften and mold to the needs of your audience!! read more

Live Lagree is the best studio I have been to and my favorite workout (my body changed after 2 weeks - unreal). All the instructors are incredible and you will leave class feeling SO good knowing you got an amazing workout in that is actually enjoyable despite how tough it can be. Don't worry about parking, there is a lot across the street they validate for and tons of meters which is so nice! The studio is also super cute and the owner of the studio, Coco, is truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. I have been to tons of studios in this city and have always felt like a number.
