Mark came by to give us an estimate. They were highly recommended for their honesty. Boy are they! We got 2 other estimates because of the gloom and doom we read on engineers report. He spent over a half hour in the crawl space. Mark went over every point and every estimate we had gotten part by part. Thai company is the best company to have for crawlspace. It did not go with them because they don't do electrical work so I chose a company that does the whole thing but I would go with the next time since I have electrical work done. Recommended but became a disappointment. Scheduled a date to have radon testing. Was going to be out of the home a few days so thought this would be the perfect time. Very disappointed that they did not show up. We agreed to meet at 1pm, at 1:10 called them and was told they are texting the person to get an ETA. At 1:25 I called back to learn they are delayed for a long time. Spent one hour driving to/from work and 30 minutes waiting. Not a good way to do business. Live Green inspected a crawl space of a house that I am buying. They were extremely responsive and I found them knowledgeable, honest and thorough. We had 2 estimates for enclosing our crawl space. We didn't know if a dehumidifier was necessary and the expense, upkeep, and potential break down seemed problematic. Chris from Live Green gave us a thorough inspection and estimate without the dehumidifier and reasons why we could do it successfully without it. We were thrilled with the price. The installers came and were professional and very thorough cleaning. They went above and beyond time and again in the two days they worked at our home. 3rd time is not the charm. The 3rd time we used LiveGreen was a complete disappointment. We used LiveGreen in the past for sealing our crawlspace in 2018. They did an amazing job. Had follow up by our sales rep/project manager Mark, the work was checked and double checked. Perfection. Called them again to have some blown in insulation removed from our attic. Again, perfection and no issues. Decided to use them a 3rd time to insulate our attic refinishing project and from start to finish, it was a disaster. The sales rep/project manager Matt (owners son) came out to estimate the project, again. He also told us where we needed framing around the duct work and furring out the ceiling beams for the insulation to fit properly. The price more than doubled from the initial quote we received in 2018 (I realize cost and materials change but that was insane). We still went with them but did standard batt insulation and not the sprayed insulation like we initially wanted. Upon our unprofessional and personal inspection of stage 1 of the completed work, it was our opinion that the 't-ply' backing on the framing and the spray foam "fireblock" in the holes and seams was a very sloppy job. Called the PM, sent photos and a crew was sent back out the morning of the town permit inspection to adjust the t-ply and spray foam where they missed (we had to point out every location that needed spray foam). We still failed the inspection due to missing framing (we were unaware of), mission spray foam "fireblock" as well as ceiling baffles on one entire side of the roof. We had to get our framers back out to frame locations we were unaware needed framing so the LiveGreen crew could spray foam "fireblock" and add baffles at the same time they came to install the batt insulation. We made sure to check their work throughout the day so nothing was missed but still had to point out every place they missed with spray foam. We asked about the baffles as the batt insulation was installed on top and we couldn't see them. They assured us the baffles were added in every location and even pulled down some insulation to show us. We still couldn't see them from the side the inspector would check so we asked our English/Spanish speaking contractor to ask and again we all were told the baffles were added, they were not so we had to make them go back and pull down insulation to add the baffles. We had to babysit this crew the entire time and had we not, we would have failed another inspection. The LiveGreen management was not concerned with any of our issues at all. No one came to check on the project during or after completion, not even when we had issues and specifically asked to have someone come check. We expressed concerns after the work was completed and asked for a new invoice minus the $85 re-inspection fee that we were initially told they would pay. Matt Blaise sent a snotty response to our concerned email addressed to management that basically said they didn't have enough people to manage or sit on every job site and it was our framers fault for failing the inspection, not theirs and to pay our invoice as agreed upon. We have nothing to use LiveGreen for anymore but if we did we wouldn't use them. We had spoken very highly of them for several years and referred customers to them, we will no longer do that and will make sure there are bad reviews about our latest experience, especially for their lack of responsibility, customer service and response. read more

I have decided to write this review after waiting and giving each individual ample time to respond to my emails. But when the email that you receive back says they have decided to bow out that is not acceptable. I responded to Stan asking him and Mr. Roland if this meant they were NOT honoring the warranty and I have yet to receive a response. I have tried to contact them multiple times for job that was done to inquire about some work that needs to be redone under the "WARRANTY" at the same time I inquired to receive a quote for additional work for another sump pump. I literally waited for 2 weeks for anyone to contact me then 3 weeks before receiving the quote. I typically don't beg people to take my money but I didn't want to void a warranty on the 5600.00 job. I have had them come out and agree that there are several areas in July that needed to be retaped on the sealing of my crawlspace. I again followed up on the status of the quote and warranty issues and they said they were at my house and installed a sump pump on 10/23/20 then told me they have gps in their trucks and it shows them at my house. Well my cameras don't show them nor do I have a sump pump in the location. However, my neighbors across the street had work by them. When I tried to call them they were not very nice to deal with on the phone and not willing to work with me. I have had constant issues with their poor installation. I have taken several videos and pictures of this and I would not recommend using them if they are not willing to respond back to you or are not open in talking with you. 5600.00 is not cheap for a job that was not done correctly or even have someone come back and recheck.I feel they take advantage of their customers and are not interested in the health and well being of us. read more

I had them do an energy audit. The guy did a blower door test and went all around the house with me to help me figure out where the problems were. Really nice and helpful. When I got quotes for some work to address some of the issues, they were the cheapest. read more
