Google sent them a plaque with my review on it about 18 months ago that's how much I loved it..... Since leaving Tails of Success (April 2, 2019) Fletcher has gained 8 pounds, no drooling or "snarky" behavior....Seriously he's a husky, being snarky is what they do, but moving on... My vet mentioned that she has seen multiple dogs that have developed "behavioral problems" or "anxiety" at Tails of Success. They have more than doubled the dogs there daily and the building did not change in size. It's too many dogs in a small space, dogs do not like their space invaded. I have it IN WRITING from my Vet she did not recommend Tails for this reason. Additionally due to some digging, I also know for a FACT they hired the significant other and daughter of a current employee-neither of which have any experience with dogs! Subsequently those two were let go for stealing!! (Who steals and what exactly do you steal from a dog daycare?) I wish it had ended better but Tails of Success was so horrible to my dogs at the end. They got too big for their Britches so to speak. The owner was walking around with $1500 Italian boots on (I'm from NYC, I know these things) THEN they had the nerve to tell me that I had "too many complaints" about their facility and told me my dogs weren't welcome there anymore. All bc they put fletcher in a pen by himself ALL DAY and he was drooling excessively (would come home soaked like he had been bathed). A worker told me he spilled his water bowl at first, then they called a few days later bc he was drooling a lot and they wanted to make sure his vet knew. The day before we terminated our customer contact I saw a girl SCREAM at him at the door on the way out and Missy ("communication agent") tried to convince me I didn't see what I thought I did and that Fletcher "has had good interactions" with that staff member Anyone that brings their dogs to Tails be cautious- there is a reason they are the ONLY dog daycare that doesn't have webcams to watch your dogs off site. Also after you leave make sure they don't automatically deduct monthly dues from your account bc they did that to me, by mistake I'm sure (insert eye roll).

That has definitely been achieved here

Bob is a retired K9 handler, so has years of experience with high-strung GSDs. The whole staff is calm and knowledgeable, and I am assured that while my dog isn't happy unless he's home, Evergreen makes his stay as positive as possible. The prices are very reasonable, and if you have two dogs that can stay in the same run, the second gets a significant discount. I recommend Evergreen to everyone I know of who is looking for a kennel.

I've been using Rochester Dog Walkers for almost two years now for my 6 year old rescue dog. I work…read morelong days, and while he's generally a couch potato, he loves to get outside and really likes (most) people so I like having someone come give him some company and let him out a few days a week. RDW has two different scheduling options - you can schedule on your own as needed or you can join the Pack which includes a walk every weekday (at a discount) as well as several other benefits. My work schedule is (unfortunately for me) variable, so a pack membership just didn't make sense, though it would almost certainly be worth it for someone who needs that consistency. The "a la carte" option is very simple - just request your walks for the following week by Wednesday. I try to request several weeks at a time, but on occasion my schedule comes out late or I forget, and RDW has always been very helpful. I work some evenings, holidays, and weekends and RDW can accommodate all of those which is rare. Customer service is AMAZING. I really appreciated the time B took on our first meeting to get to know my dog and to ask such great questions to figure out what my needs were. Likely due to my ever changing schedule, there are multiple dog walkers who come to my house. I've never had an issue with any of them. Any time a new staff member needs to be introduced to my dog, one of our existing walkers comes with to facilitate that process. Communication is easy; when I have had to get in touch with them I have always had a response within a few hours. You can send an email or chat directly with walkers in the app. My dog has some personality quirks (unsure what life was like for him before being with me) that we've had to work with - RDW has been very understanding about this and willing to work with us to make sure everyone, including my dog, stays safe. In general, RDW makes me feel like I have people in my corner who care about my dog as much as I do. Seeing the update from my dog walker that day and photos is always a bright spot during a hectic shift at work. I know my guy is having the best time with his friends at RDW, and I am so happy I found this business. I cannot recommend RDW enough. Worth every penny.

The service is friendly, prompt, and accommodating and their fees are incredibly fair.

I retained the text messages to prove this. I left an emergency contact who was my nephew in the event he did not do well or became ill during his stay. My emergency contact was never called. When my husband and I picked him up, he was scared, confused, very dirty and seemed very dazed. I asked if they used any sedation on him and I was told "no" by the owner who identified himself as Tom. (this conversation was done through email) He told me that my dog was not a good fit for the facility. He told me he stayed in his kennel/suite and he had to be hand fed. He told me that his staff tried to clean him after his "accidents". My dog is perfectly trained and has never had accidents. We recently moved back to Rochester, NY from another state. In our previous state he was boarded multiple times and was enrolled in daycare. He NEVER had any issues at any prior establishment and was always returned calm, clean and happy. I feel responsible in some ways because I never was shown the facility beyond the front desk. Although the website has a photo of an outside area, when we picked him up and drove to the back of the building, there was no outdoor space or fenced in play area of any sort. I do not understand why they would have allowed my dog to suffer like that for 10 days without contacting me or my emergency contact. the only reason I can think of is that they wanted their full 10 day fee of $545. I would never leave my pet with this establishment.

Proformance K9 did the impossible for us…read more Our 4-year old male, intact, German Shepherd had always been allowed to do as he pleased, with predictable results. Finally we decided that it was time for professional training, but thought it might be too late. Several trainers flat-out refused to even try to bring this willful GSD in line. We had tried electric collars (He refused to move after being shocked...for days) prong collars (he just went limp like a protester and could be yanked and dragged without effect) and food motivation (he let food sit for days). So went we went to interview with Proformance K9, we were not hopeful. Trainer Tim assured us all was not lost, and that he could produce results during a two-week training program. A month later, we dropped the dog off and prepared for the usual "come pick him up, we can't do anything" call, but instead videos of his progress came. Our dog was so willful and resistant that he couldn't be turned into a "Stepford Dog" after that many years, but Tim was able to get him under control and eliminate most of his defiant behaviors. Most importantly, he showed us how to continue the training and expand on the basics of the two-week course. People who saw our dog before can't believe the change and we're able to take the 105 lb. shepherd in public without the embarrassment of having no control or the worry that our dog will scare someone. I can't promise you that Proformance K9 can train your dog, but if they can get results with ours, normal dogs should be a snap.

But this sounds like she has no desire to work with with people. She actually opened our last correspondence saying that she wasn't going to try to convince me and that she was "much too busy for that." But continued on to a fairly lengthy email.
