If I can give 0 stars I would. This doctor is the worst doctor ever. Please don't even go to him even if you're dying, because he won't even care. I went and saw him on March 25th 2023 to get my lab results back. And his wife is the one that works in the front desk. I CAN BARELY HEAR HER CLEARLY. She mumbles and speaks like a mosquito. I ask to see my lab results and she just slapped it on the counter like she's a higher being or something. RUDE! Ok I tried to ignore that maybe she's just having a bad day. I checked my lab results and there were some abnormal results. I asked to see the doctor and go over my results. I went into his room and he's typing on the computer, and I asked him to see what's wrong with me that was written on the sick. He just flipped through the pages and then prescribed me medicines then said "Go pick your medicines up, they will help you." WITHOUT EXPLAINING TO ME WHAT MEDICINES HE PRESCRIBED AND WITHOUT TELLING ME THE OVERALL OF MY LAB RESULTS!! I asked him what are the abnormal results that was written on the report. Then he said "I don't have time to explain a whole lecture to you! Go search the internet!" I've never heard a doctor said such things to patients!! So I told him "If I can search the internet then why are you a doctor? What use do you have being here? Being a doctor??" And he became so upset and told me this in Chinese "If you're not gonna listen to me then switch doctors! Switch to another place!" I will definitely file a claim and report this to my health plan and the medical board. A doctor like him should not even have license. read more

If can give this doctor a zero star rating, I would! My parents have been seeing Dr. Liu for many years and he has never done a physical exam on either of them, even telling them that it's unnecessary because given their age, the physical exam results will show they'd have regular "old people" problems with their health any way. My father was recently hospitalized due to severe asthma. After he was discharged, he was advised to see Dr. Liu, his family doctor, and provide the hospital exam results to him for further follow up. However, Dr. Liu just quickly flipped through the pages and didn't bother to carefully examine anything. My father was hospitalized again after 2 weeks for the same problem. He was told by the docs at the hospital that he had kidney failure and many other major problems with his health, which he himself or Dr. Liu was never aware of. And the worst part was, he was told by the hospital that the inhaler Dr. Liu prescribed to him was the wrong kind, only for emergency use and not for long term use. And my father has been using this type of inhaler for years. My parents had always praised Dr. Liu for prescribing them meds whenever they requested him to without having to go thru any health exam. So you be the judge what kind of doctor he is... Side note: Dr. Liu had prescribed my parents the wrong medications multiple times and had also sent their meds to the wrong CVS for pick up many times. We'll be reporting Dr. Liu to the medical board for his malpractice. No one deserves to have such doctor who could care less about his patients' health. read more

This person is not a doctor and he does not give a shit about you. He's the kind of practitioner that does the bare minimum until he can bill enough money from the insurance companies to retire. I told him I had back pain and he just told me I might need a surgeon which scare me a bit and after bloodwork came back normal he just brush me off and told me to do more exercise SMH. I've since switched to Kaw Matthew MD right down the street and never been happier, at least he cares, could request any test you ask for and the clinic can do your blood on the spot so no more waiting for hours at those laboratories. read more

Here's how my visit today went: I made an appointment for 11 AM. Got there and still had to wait 30 minutes to be seen. Went into the doctor's office and sat down. Didn't get a greeting whatsoever and nothing was said for another minute. He finally asked why I came to see him and I told him I believed I had a cold and needed some medicine. Without checking me, he then told me to go to the pharmacy to get my medicine. NICE! I honestly don't believe this doctor should have his license, THIS GUY DOES NOT CARE FOR HIS CLIENTELE. Update from the pharmacy: He prescribed me the wrong medicine. This wouldn't have happened if he just did his job and checked me thoroughly instead of trying to prescribe clients medicine by just looking at them. read more

Do yourself a favor and find a different doctor. I only went here one time and I still sometimes think about the horrible experience. I had an unknown lump underneath my chin around the jawline he didn't even examine it and just said you need to go to a surgeon. I go to the surgeon and the surgeon was confused on why the primary doctor didn't do any type of scan or biopsy to figure out what I had. At the end of it I didn't even need to see a surgeon, I needed to go to an ENT. The surgeon was nice enough to do the work and tests for me to figure out what it was when that's something this "doctor" should have done. Waste of time going there. And as it was my first visit too/annual exam he didn't order any type of blood work to see if all my levels are fine. I think they are just honestly here to just bill your insurance and reap the benefits. I found no type of actual care here and It's obvious I'm not the only one. read more

Took my MIL here to see the doctor for her rheumatism because she works on weekdays and can only see the doctor on Saturdays. Practically empty clinic on a Saturday morning, yet we had to wait 15-20 minutes for I don't know what. All's almost well and we got a prescription for the pharmacy of our choice. He gives her an injection and tells her to come back the next week. The weird part was that the receptionist did not issue us a receipt and we had to ask for it. She practically throws it on the counter. The second time, he gave her another injection. Something must've happened because her knee starts acting up the same week and hurts like crazy. She quit her work immediately and can only stay at home now because she can barely walk. My MIL's friend takes her back to the doctor and he wasn't much help - tried to give her more medicine. He then says she doesn't need to pay and writes her a prescription and says he will fax it to the pharmacy next door. However, the receptionist insists that she needs to pay even though the doctor has said she doesnt need to. After going back and forth arguing, my MIL gives up and leaves, without paying and without the prescription, which he didn't fax over anyways. All in all he has taken more than $300 from my MIL. This doctor is SHADY, SHADY, SHADY. Please, go somewhere else if u can. read more

When he saw my Mum in the hospital, he came in only partially prepared. He read her ER reports, but not her medical history. If there was a zero star I would give it to this doctor. The first time I went and back in May 13, 2022 the doctor saw me for less than one minute. I was there for a complete physical, the doctor told me go get a blood test and sent me out. I told him my feet hurts and my leg hurts he told me you need to see a podiatrist, and said that he will request one for me. Go home and wait for male to see the podiatrist and shit arrive within a week or two. It has been over a month I did not receive any mail. I also got the same day blood test as he told me to on May 13, 2022. So I made an appointment to see Maggie again today July 2, 2022 regarding my blood test results and the question about my podiatrist. I went to his office for my appointment at 10:30 AM and they couldn't find my records. I had to tell them I was there on May 13, 2022 for them to look up my records. After 30 minutes of searching, they finally found my blood test results. The doctor, this time didn't see me for five seconds. I handed him a blood test result he didn't even look at it and said everything was normal and sent me out. I told him what about my feet and legs? He said you need to see a podiatrist, I told him that's what you said last time and I was waiting for the mail to see the podiatrist, he said we will request it again. And then he went even further and say we are not right for you and you need to go find another doctor. I'm like what the fuck? So if you don't want a real doctor one who actually see you for what you need and for a better half do not go to this doctor. I've had this doctor since I was a toddler. He's really hasty and just asks what's wrong and gives you a prescription & asks you to leave. One time I said I had menstrual cramps and he gave me calcium. Wrong Cramps ! He's the closest doctor to me and I don't have to have an appointment to visit him, which is the only reason why he has this 1 star. I finally started seeing a doctor at UCLA, and saw the biggest difference in service and I realized that I don't have to spend my money on a doctor who doesn't give a crud. Plus he gets really anal when you ask him to give you the prescription to take it to a pharmacy and not his pharmacy which he gets a commission off of. read more

I would give 0 star if I could , this doctor never helped, asked him if I can get a ultra sound exam he said yes will apply for me through insurance waited 2 weeks called nurse and nurse told me I should do blood test 1st and there is no application in the system which means he forgot or what ? Then I just go and take a blood test asked him again he said ok , and now already 3 weeks no reply again ! Tired play game with him just switched to my previous Doctor . The doctor Liu refused to prescribe the medicine to control Hyperlipidemia his patient. The patient had been under him for months and Mr. Liu did know this patient's Hyperlipidemia history. He seems to be in bad mood today and this is it. When the patient went back from the pharmacy and begged him to prescribe, he refused again. With no blood test token and he said "You look energetic and can talk so much! I think no need for it." The patient had to go to another doctor to save himself from no medicine. Biggest problem here is that you have to get past the dirty waiting room with folding chairs and rude Receptionist. Her groceries are piled on the floor by her chair, many papers are piled all over her desk. They only take cash for your copay. Seriously. The doctor is okay, seems to be trying to take care of patients. No nurse to take blood pressure or other vital signs, the doctor draws blood for blood tests. I can't believe how horrible my visit was at this office. My insurance placed me with Dr. Liu Wu Hui either by default or as a joke. The only person I interacted with was his wife, the receptionist. I honestly thought she was racist, since she was so rude to me compared to the other Asian patients. But after reading the other reviews, it makes sense, she is the doctors wife and has no people skills or empathy. I totally caught her off guard when I used cool collective logic to explain my insurance information was being updated but she would not be able to see it in her insurance web portal for the next 7 days. She had told me that the group listed on my medical card needed to be updated and that I needed to call them to update the information to see the doctor. I followed her instructions but I don't think she realized I was going to do it right on the spot. The rep helping me told me that Dr. Liu Wu NEVER updated his office with UnitedHealth. The rep told me they will update and retrodate on their behalf but it would not be visable in Dr. Liu Wu's web portal for 7 days. The rep even provided me with a confirmation number for Dr. Liu Wu's reference. All this for nothing. She told me that she will look tomorrow to see if it went through even after i told her she wouldn't see an update. She didn't even know what "retrodate" meant. But I did tell her she was "retro retarded." She also told me that all this is my problem and she would be able to assist in 7 days..."nothing I can help you with." I then asked if i could get a list of the urgent care facilities tied to Dr. Liu Wu and she didn't want to supply that. I told her im covered to urgent care facilities affiliated with Dr. Liu Wu!! It's like this was all new information to the dumb lady. I was new to this whole HMO stuff, but her! She does this for a living and is married to the doctor. I never want anyone to have this poor experience in any place, let alone in the medical sector. I don't like people who don't have empathy for others.
