First of all, we ordered too much food. Let's just get that out of the way. (Insert chuckle here...) Big Bro suggested this place for a lunch run before errands. With a bit of time, I wanted to kinda do a quick look on their Yelp page and was delighted I had this place bookmarked to begin with! And yeah, I had a list of things to consider for grub, so I looked so very looked forward to the stop. The place was open and welcoming. It's a pretty big place with high ceilings and really clean. Our party of five had no reservations but there was plenty of tables open (given we got here a few minutes after their doors opened.) Their menu wasn't too extensive but choices aplenty. Since I came prepared (bookmarked and notes and all), it wasn't difficult to decide. I started off with a SABA NIGIRI (forgot to take a picture because I was so hungry!) and that flavor was expected: there's that combination of sweet and savory and salty fish taste I was seeking. It was delicious. Next was DEEP FRIED SOFT SHELLED CRABS (this is a must-have for me at anytime I see it on the menu.) The batter was a bit thicker than I prefer but it maybe to mask the smaller-than-it-looks size of the crab. It wasn't bad at all, but it might have been a game changer if the batter was a bit more thin. The main flavor essence of the crab sorta took a back seat because of it. Still good, but could be better. Last for our set of apps was the HAMACHI KAMA (another must-have!) and it was seasoned and broiled so perfectly! This was a first for some people in my party and they seemed to like it. Boy, there was nothing left of that neck the bones. Highly recommending! For a main course, I went for the TEMPURA BENTO LUNCH BOX. Okay, so I knew what it came with, I just didn't realize the portions were so big! Miso soup was average at best, I wasn't really interested in the salad so I passed it on to Big Bro who snarfed it all up (even after finishing his) so it goes to show it must have been good. Egg rolls (came with two!) were average, maybe a little bit above par, and the tempura was also average. I didn't want to fill up too much so I barely touched the rice. And this is the reason why I say we ordered too much food. I saw on their menu they had a sushi boat (for a party of 2) so I figure Big Bro and I could share. Had I known it was this much, we would have skipped the bento box lunches altogether. Man, the size of this thing could feed four people easy! The presentation was enticing and beautiful, not to mention appetizing! Everyone got a little bit of everything and we all enjoyed it entirely! FOOD: 4.5. SERVICE: 4. Food came out timely, but there was a bit of gaps in between. But still above average. VALUE: 5. Way more than fair for what we got, I thought it was a bargain! PARKING: Shared private lot. Will not be an issue. OVERALL: 4.5. Everyone enjoyed their individual main courses. We all left full and satisfied and happy-happy. This place is going to remain bookmarked because I intend to come back. (Still have tons on their menu I would like to try.) I will make an attempt (most likely a sorry one, I'll admit) to be more mindful about over-ordering next time... maybe... :) Looking forward to that next visit!

This place has really went down hill in the past few years. Calamari was chewy, spring rolls were tiny and smushy inside, fried sushi was nothing how it used to taste - the exterior crunch tastes stale? And the rice inside was so soft it basically disintegrated. To top it off, roach on window. This will be our last visit. $77 check and the only thing I enjoyed was the sweet tea.

My usual spot for sushi and hibachi near here. Service is depend on the day I guess.but over all still good for what it is in the area.

08/23/2020 Clean, friendly, entertaining. Chef boy r d was great. Funny guy, broken English, chop, chop, slice, slice, woosh, fire, steam. The usual for a Japanese steak house. Lots of good Food & drinks a plenty. Server a little slow on refills. Party of six was seated quickly.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The drinks were great and the sushi was very delicious. The prices were pretty reasonable. It was a nice work dinner will definitely go back!

The Nagoya Roll- not fried as requested. But do we see the loads of spicy Krab?? So excited for this, so disappointed again.

It's inevitable. I will crave sushi, knowing this place is the "best" option in town and again choose to spend money here with the expectation of a portion of my order being wrong. So this time I went simple salmon sushi, and yellowtail sushi...and ONE ROLL! The one roll I like...when it's right! I can't eat spicy, so this roll is the best non spicy option. And of course, the roll comes with like 80% spicy Krab. dbl check to make sure the spicy krab didn't sneak past me as a new change, and as I thought, no spicy krab on the list of ingredients. Just. Get. It. Right?!?!?! Why??????

There's only 3 tables with people at them, so maybe 15% capacity. Not even remotely busy. Maybe the foods incredible, but the service and timeliness is so poor is doesn't matter. It might have been quicker if I just ordered here. But if I had ordered here I would have walked out a long time ago. The only reason I'm still here is because I've already been charged. Update: I finally got the order ~8:30. Somehow the food was actually more disappointing than the service. The Bulgogi Ramen okay, but the Tonkatsu Ramen was questionable, in particular the meat was pretty much dry shoe leather, even in the broth. The "house salad" was literally just a handful of lettuce, and the "sushi sampler" was three sad pieces of sashimi just tossed into a to-go box. All in all, super disappointed, maybe it's much better in the restaurant itself. But this experience was so poor I will not be giving them a second chance. And I would warn anyone trying to go in with a reasonable expectation for disappointment.

This was one of those unexpected pleasant surprises I got to experience while in Killeen on…read morebusiness. There's an ample amount of choices for Korean food in Killeen, and each one has something that makes them unique. Seoul To Go is a Mom and Son operation and they have been perfect all around on both my visits as I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of their dishes. Plus they had my favorite fish cake side dish - - all of which is homemade from scratch. Every time I'm in the Killeen area I kinda crave Asian cuisine. Korean and Thai usually come to mind as they have an excellent variety to choose from, Seoul To Go kept popping up on the highly recommended list. I found them nestled in a more quiet part of town close to a middle school, in a small strip mall next to a nail salon and gas station food-mart. I walk in and it's a small yet suitable place with ample seating, nothing fancy, just clean tables and chairs and a TV with an open kitchen. It was quiet - a guy was sitting up front and politely greeted me. I asked him - "So you're the secret to success for Seoul To Go?" - - the guy chuckles and says he's just up front helping run the show, the secret's in the back - - "she's the Master of Seoul". So many nice choices, I just missed lunch but we went for the Spicy Chicken and Bulgogi dishes which come with rice and an assortment of side dishes. I was really impressed with the flavor of the food and the quality - everything tasted great. On my 2nd visit back I spoke to the son who was really friendly and talkative. He recommended the Trio dish - which had lunch portions of pork and chicken and bulgogi, kind of like a sampler platter that feeds at least 2-3 people. It was really good and full of flavor. I had plenty to take home and it kept up well in the fridge. I love the side dishes here - specifically the fish cake here is thicker than the other Korean places. The potato side is very flavorful and the cucumber has just the right spice as I always go back and ask for seconds. I want to make it back here more often, because I've sampled several Korean places in Harker Heights and Killeen and Seoul To Go has been the best to date thanks to the quality dishes and friendly customer service.
