Parking is free in the garage. They offered 2 rental packages: 1) $350 rental fee (normally $500, but 30% venue discount for first time customers) and à la carte catering (full trays feeding ~30ppl/tray), vs. 2) $50/per person: any 4 items from menu, water / coffee / tea included, side dishes (steamed rice and mixed vegetables) included, and grazing board (charcuterie or banh mi board) included We went with option 1, honestly an extremely good deal compared to hosting at other venues we were looking at, especially for the quality of the venue itself, very modern, clean, and aesthetic with a full on kitchen and benefits of having tables/chairs/dishware already part of the venue. Reservation was for 3 hours with 1 hour for set up and 30 mins for breakdown. They allow outside food as long as it's dessert. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating, shoutout to Adam for coordinating with us - helped us out in so many ways, from decor setup, to playing our music, to splitting bills, to accommodating for various dietary restrictions of guests, to cutting our outside cake we brought in, to assisting with cleanup and giving our guests to-go boxes for all the leftovers. Speaking of food, guests couldn't stop raving about it. Spring rolls were packed with shrimp (they offered various sauces for those with peanut allergies), the DIY banh mi tray was a major hit, and my personal favorite was the crispy pork belly, the skin was crispy perfection. We also got egg rolls, wings (fish sauce), and japchae which were all excellent as well. Can't recommend Lena's Asian Kitchen enough, great work y'all and thank you for having us!

In May 2024, I volunteered to hand out lunch boxes at Lena's Kitchen somewhere in SW Houston. Fast forward to now, I learned about this location and at 99 Ranch Market in West Houston. It's my goal to visit that location this summer. Coming to this location was a little tricky. I had to park on the top floor of the garage. I couldn't believe how friendly everyone from valet person to security guards to the moment I walked in. The employee gave me a quick introduction to the menu. It's fairly simple and I grabbed the lunch combo option: grilled chicken banh mi and vegetables potstickers. Everything was delicious including the water infused with cucumber and lemon. I'll bring my foodie friends over one of these days. Yeah. I'll be back.

The salt and pepper crispy tofu is a standout with bold flavor and a satisfying crunch. The lemongrass tofu is well-seasoned and solid, and the mushroom-based chicken nuggets are honestly one of my favorite appetizers on the entire menu. The fried pancake rounds out the appetizer options nicely as well. On the rice dishes, there's plenty to love. My wife loves the shaking tofu fried rice and orders it every time we visit. The combo fried rice and shaking beef fried rice are both great choices, and the special pot rice is a comforting, satisfying option. The hardest part of dining here is choosing a favorite entrée. The grilled fish platter -- crafted from tofu and seaweed -- is a masterpiece. But it's in fierce competition with the fried chicken rice, made from mushrooms and exceptionally delicious in both flavor and texture. I genuinely can't pick just one. Whether you're a longtime vegan or simply someone who appreciates great food, Tuệ Tâm is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend!

This was such a random spot! I spend a lot of time in china town and never knew this was here and…read morethat it was mostly vegan. A couple things to note: 1. It is not 100% vegan. For some reason, they have 1 item (egg roll) that is not vegan. 2. Service is full service style without full service quality. Would be a better setup if we could order at the counter and sit down because that's pretty much the level of service we received anyway, so just keep that in mind going into it. 3. It was pricier than expected. We spent $50 on the items shown here. I wouldn't say I was pleased with what we spent vs what we received. Overall, the food was a mixed bag.. the soup didn't have a ton of flavor despite it being one of their most popular dishes. The 'snails' were really interesting and I enjoyed them. For $20 I wouldn't get them again but they were fun to try. The steak dish was definitely the highlight. It was so good that my non vegan boyfriend bet me $1 it was real steak. It wasn't. Overall, I think it's worth a try but it's unlikely I'll be back anytime soon. Maybe to pick up the steak dish. Beside that, Trendy Vegan offers really good Asian cuisine at a more reasonable price point.

Unbelievable experience and hospitality, so we were visiting Houston, and after dinner decided to…read morehave some chai Shai, meetha sheeta, and gup shup masti wasti. We got there around 8:30 and saw dim lights, wondered if they were still open, and went to the counter. There were only two families, hardly 6 people, and the person behind the counter said, of course, no greeting sheeting . She said (loudly) We have only chai and I said I hope so because we came for chai. Since we have never been there, we have no clue what else they serve there. Since we had dinner, we came for only chai or dessert. We ordered 3 chai (different kinds) and started reading their menu after paying them, of course. We liked the menu and told each other we should return for food next time. During that time, one family gets up and leaves without having anything. We said oh well, let's wait for the chai and told our friend, who is Canadian, how our culture is kind of based on hospitality chai. We ask guests if they don't want to eat still you must have chai. Chai is our connection and to learn about each other. Almost 15 or 20 minutes later, chai came, and I asked her if sugar was available. She pointed towards the entrance. "Sugar is over there." So I got up to pick up Cheeni Sheeni, and as soon I returned, the same person said it was 9 0 o'clock and we were closing. I asked, Are you serious? We just got our order. I looked around. One family was still eating food, but she said I have to close the door. It's 9 PM, and we don't get paid for extra time. Oh, she wants us to leave with our chai. I said may I use your sugar? She said yes. Honestly, I have never seen this kind of attitude, and I understand, that it's the owner's fault who doesn't appreciate their workers, and they don't care if a customer left happy or not. We picked up our chai Shai cups and went outside. We decided to drink in the car, but unfortunately, the chai was horrible. So, two of us throw our cups in the trash. It was hot water without flavor. Meanwhile, we apologized to our friend that that's not how our culture or hospitality is, just bad management. We are in the retail business, and once a customer walks in 30 minutes before, we don't ask them to leave the store. I was totally in a fun vacation mood. All I wanted was a good karak chai, some meetha. So are we planning to go back? What do you think?

Parking is one way, but plenty of parking available. The restaurant side has plenty of spacious seating. You place your order at the register and they give you a number to place at your table. They deliver your food to you. They have a good variety of their aguas frescas. I do recommend the melon and horchata. Recommend trying their tamale - the chuchito con salsa y queso. I also enjoyed their beef garnachos and the camarones. Their chaomein is not exactly the chaomein you'd expect from a Chinese restaurant, but I guess you could say it's their take on it. The bakery side is definitely like a little convenience store - carrying bottled sodas, clothes, and other snacks. Their breads and pastries are baked fresh daily at 5am. If you visit during the holidays, there are special treats specific for that holiday. (I was told there will be a special bread for Easter.) Highly recommend taking home a slice of their tres leches or tres leches in a cup. Not extremely sweet as other places make them, and I like it that way. Unfortunately, if you don't know Spanish or if you're not familiar with the Guatemalan culture, you'll most likely feel lost. I wished there were descriptions of what all the breads and pastries were. The employees are really nice and friendly, however there might be a language barrier if you can't speak Spanish.

My favorite was the pork and cabbage, followed closely by the pork and onion. Both were packed with flavor, and the fillings were juicy and well-seasoned. I also picked up 10 of their steamed pork buns for $6.50, which were equally satisfying. The steamed buns had a soft, pillowy texture and were stuffed with a hearty pork filling. While I loved everything I ordered, I do wish they had chili oil available for dipping, which would have elevated the flavors even more.
