But once he started at the Phoenix School, things turned around. He came home after the first day and said, "It's like the teachers aren't even teachers--they're just people!" The caring relationship with his teachers, the community at the school, the way his teachers push him to do more than he thought he could and support him as he learns to push himself has been amazing. He loves school now and is thriving academically, socially, and emotionally. The way they integrate learning across all their activities is special. Students learn all the academic skills throughout all their activities, along with specialized practice in, say, math or writing, especially as they get older. They also use the community at large as their classroom with frequent out-of-the-classroom learning experiences that engage students far more than anything I've seen at any other school. Teachers support students as they produce high-quality work, with autonomy and ownership over their own learning. Teachers are among the most dedicated professional educators I've ever met. They work hard to create a community of students, faculty, staff, parents, and community members dedicated to the well-being and education of students as complete people. It's not possible for me to say enough good things about this school.

Little Theatre became our top choice after a ..kinda exhaustive search before the internet. This…read morereview is now 35ish years post enrolling our 2 daughters , commencing in pre- nursery school . I'm compelled to write this review after discovering an essay my daughter wrote her sophomore year in college. The essay was assigned to reflect on experiences which played an essential role in their development and sense of self to this point in their life. I'm struck with the fact they ( LT) still flourish and cannot fathom their core values would have changed . Her words brought me back to their delight on school days ; riding the tiny bus with Miss Pat , welcoming and nurturing small classes and truly loving professionals who valued every child's individuality . To this day I have a box of memorabilia , school pictures and report cards . Owners Miss Terri , followed by Miss Gretchen were on site every day and impactful . Funny story and I'll never forget it , as it became an essential part of our lives for 20 years ! Miss G and her husband rescued a kitten under attack , by geese at Flax Pond . When she shared the story to the nursery school class ..my kiddo was beside herself and ..Whiskers found a home . Key points of essay , paraphrased : We reaped the benefits of small classes and " a lot" of nurturing and personal attention This environment installed a love of learning and made me feel a sense of self worth Very grateful " for my fabulous early childhood education " and partially responsible for the inquisitive person I am today . Both of them are now masters (or 2 ) prepared professionals in their respective, high demand fields .

What immediately sets this location apart is how genuinely connected the leadership team is to the families. The director and assistant director greet children and parents by name each morning and take the time to check in, have meaningful conversations, and build real relationships. It's clear that they care not just about the children in their care, but about the families as a whole. The educators here are attentive, thoughtful, and deeply invested in the children they work with. They understand each child as an individual and create a supportive environment that encourages growth, confidence, and emotional development. The classrooms are calm, welcoming, and intentionally designed to help children feel comfortable and engaged. As a parent, the most meaningful part of our experience has been seeing how quickly my child has flourished. In just a few short weeks, I noticed positive changes in communication, confidence, and overall happiness. There is nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is spending their day in a place where they are safe, supported, and truly cared for. Peabody KinderCare goes above and beyond what you'd expect from a childcare center. It's a warm, professional, and nurturing community.

Miss Ally in the infant room is amazing, loving, caring, and attentive. We have loved all of the additional teachers my daughter has been with including as she moves up in classrooms including Miss Bridgit, Miss Mandi, Miss Dianne, Miss Casey, and Miss Trina. As a parent, there is no where else I would have wanted my kids to develop their educations. When they went on to elementary school (in another town), I was asked (by their teachers) where they went to preschool/pre-K. I was told that they were more prepared than most of the other children in their class. Amazing! As a teacher/administrator, there is no where else I would want to work. I am the music teacher (for all 3 locations) and the after school and vacation program director. The home-like atmosphere provided at LTS is true and organic. While still professional, the teachers and administrators at LTS are intelligent, loving, kind, generous, honest, trustworthy, dependable, fun and just plain old nice! The 3 locations are all different and amazing in their own right. The programs offered at each location are well-planned, consistent, engaging and constructive. If you are looking for a positive learning experience for your child, please check out Little Treasures in Reading, Lynnfield or North Reading.
