Let me tell you my own story. At first, I had selected a DIFFERENT daycare in Chelmsford, closer to my work. It soon became a horrifying experience. The teachers were uncaring and grizzled. The facility was dirty. I observed so many bad things: for example, my infant crying and neglected under an activity gym as the older babies in the same room received more attention. I was traumatized. I sobbed every day in the parking lot of my workplace because of the things I was seeing and hearing. I was even thinking of quitting my (amazing) job -- because I had nowhere else to put my daughter. No family support. What was I going to do? I desperately reached out to the mama social networks and (an angel) mama recommended the TLE Billerica. She had loved it; and only left because she moved closer to the city. I am still so thankful for that recommendation. My daughter was only at the other nasty place for four days. On July 3, 2014, after an early release for the holiday, I toured the TLE Billerica, met the director Melody, and the staff -- and the rest is history. A beautiful, happy history. My daughter is almost two now. She's been at TLE full-time since she was 11 weeks. No place is perfect -- but TLE Billerica is very close to it. The facility is so secure. So clean. Most of the teachers I met two years ago are still there. But the real treasure has been how warm and caring the teachers and staff have been to my daughter. Our highest priority criterion isn't price, but frankly, the TLE is also half the price of daycares near Boston where we originally looked. It was several hundred dollars less expensive per month than the first daycare we used. I should also mention the convenient location and hours. My daughter has severe eczema but her skin is so well moisturized during the day by her teachers, she doesn't even scratch. She's never had a diaper rash. Rarely gets sick. She's happy -- and when I pick her up, I can tell she's had a good day. The last daycare? Every day, I could tell she was having a bad day. As a baby, she struggled with naps. TLE helped us build a sleep routine. As a toddler, she struggled with solid food. TLE helped build her appetite! She's a big girl now. At 21 months, she has ABC's, 123's and full songs figured out. Every time I've had a need or concern, the response has been tremendous. I couldn't ask for more from a center. The teachers and staff at TLE have become our family. I have a good relationship with so many of the other parents who also sing this center's praises. When my husband and I count our blessings, TLE is at the top of the list every year. They gave this scared, first time (working) mama reassurance, support and love. I'll always be grateful.

She was very helpful and guided me through everything I needed to get my child started. My son absolutely loves the program! He enjoys it so much and even got to experience a movie field trip when school was closed, which was wonderful. At first, I was nervous about him starting something new, but he was very brave and has really enjoyed his time there.

At the beginning of our little one's attendance - the teacher sent a message that our baby was being extra sensitive that day, not his best day, and we were happy to go get him. (He was sick and feeling icky). We also like how caring the management team is - and how involved they are with day to day activities. The place is extremely spacious, giving children lots of room to play; and the layout is unique and refreshing. When I came the teachers were warm and attentive and extremely friendly. I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. I do have to say that I am shocked by the negative review by Amanda O. On here. I was shown around and saw the playpens folded up and neatly tucked away; Mats for nap time were all organized in a closet, and toys were in toy boxes. I did not see any toys in cribs. I'd also like to point out that given how many children and toys there are, the place was impressively neat and organized. As for the baby room, I thought it was a great set up! It's its own separate room; confined and set up so the person in there can be attentive to all babies. The only reason we did not go with Ms Darlene's was merely because of distance. Even though we were unable to attend I highly recommend Ms Darlene's!
