I've only had experience in the gun shop here at little river pawn. Ben is oen of the best gunsmith's I know and has always been able to get me what I need - at a much lower price than any other gun shop. I've never been treated poorly and they've gone out of their way to get me great deals on the items I've purchased. Hands down best prices on guns and ammo in Horry county. Great selection as well. read more

Never sell them gold/ silver they offer 20 cents on the dollar I understand needing to make a profit but they will rob you look out read more

Between me & my parents, we've had about 6 pieces of jewelry repaired by Chad. He's amazing & a sweet guy! The prices are extremely fair in my opinion compared to other places around & a fast turnaround time too! This photo is the most recent work (a diamond replaced, both rings sized down & soldered together). As usual, extremely happy w/ his work! read more

Little River Pawn - Pawn Shops Near Me - Little River, South Carolina

Gave me super low ball offers twice now, and one was on a loan request. Dicks in NMB is way better!

My husband passed away I emailed a picture of how I wanted his cross fixed so you could see the cross I give him a gold Bell charm and email the original picture told chad he could use the charm but I don't like the bell shape just use the gold to make a cap when I got back to check on it the owner treated me like garbage under his feet I said I was checking to see if it was done he said to me well did somebody call you and the jeweler said that the piece was in the cleaner talking from the back room if I was able to talk to the jeweler at the time and see what he had in the cleaner I would've been able to tell him that I didn't want the whole bell once again as we discussed in the beginning I thought it was miscommunication so I let him do a bracelet that means a lot to me (I made in a class when I was 15 years old) he said he was going to make it round and when I went back it was oval shaped he said not to bend it round I was ok with that because it's been that shape for years then I went and did a ring I didn't think you could mess up a ring he didn't come out to size me and the girl told me I should have it bigger than I thought it should so I trusted her I gave the $40 when I went to pick it up and when I got to the car with the receipt I had the $40 she handed back with the receipt so I brought it back in I had the ring on it for about Three hours and it fell apart in three places I tried to have him make it with a heavy wedding ring originally like they did in Surf side at dicks pawn to a ring of mine but he said it was too thick so I took him a thinner ring to use He hammered it very thin I gave them what they asked for an even on another piece they said 40 also and when I went in he said 30 I said we agreed on 40 so I'll give you the 40 So far I'm not very happy that ring meant a lot to me and now is in broken in three places if he could come out and size me if you could show me the cap made out of the bell before he put it on my husband's cross that meant so much to me I really feel a jeweler should be the one handling all communication And if you can't remember what you said write it down If the ring couldn't sized with that ring you thought it could then it shouldn't of done with it I told him I had lots of gold rings I could use for the sizing up I think God knew so that's why he was trying to give the money back when I picked it up I would of believe it was a God thing me checking on the cross if I wasn't talked to buy the owners so nasty It I even told him because of the 845 some people get it wrong because so close to 843 area code he is in He just wasn't going to speak to speak Like a caring normal person to me I assumed he was having a bad day I have musical instruments of my husband to sell and I won't even think about trying to sell to him now after how he acted Only reason I went back was because the jewelry talked very nice and sincere And the other place I tried to have stuff done the guy never got to the work I guess people are right I should've gone back to SurfsideBut because I moved it's a Calabash a Little River porn is so close and the guy said he worked for dicks pawn the jeweler I thought I was in the right place I guess this is one of the things you don't do after your husband passes they say any major decisions should be a year after you lose your husband I didn't think this was one of the major decisions I am trying to learn how to stay away from people that are so negative like this owner I think I need to go and get my $40 back for the last piece and go have it fixed somewhere else All three things fixed had to be fixed again I let them fix the ring that fell apart and 2 1/2 hours after I picked it up Just to have a big blemish in the middle of the large stone that I thought was purposely done by the jeweler out of spite because he had to redo it my bracelet that he added a piece of silver too broke he didn't even go in the original spot it was soldered from like I asked him to And a gold charm bell was put over my Late Husbands fairy stone Covering it instead of using half as a cap I took a silver bell cut it and made it myself after removing the gold bell that was just glued over it and smashed down Like a hat over the cross ‍ I learned my lesson and wasted money and a now destroyed gold bell charm my late husband purchased for me I thought he would cut in half and the Design of the bell would look nice not the full charm read more

Great jewelry repair! May take a little longer than some shops but defiant ally worth the wait! Mike is the best!

Nicest and most patient folks to deal with...in store and on phone. They have a great and broad selection of fairly priced guns and a helpful and knowledgeable staff. I haven't had any work done on my guns there, but in the small store you can't help overhearing nothing but positive conversations. Working on my first FFL transfer which they are also being very helpful with. Five stars all the way. read more

I visited the store in the middle of the afternoon with a ring and a riffle I wanted to sell. The man weighed my ring and declares "That's a real diamond." Well no kidding Sherlock that's why I'm here. Then he says there is no one available to look at it and won't make an offer. He didn't make any suggestion of when someone would be available. He then went on to say he wouldn't be able to sell the riffle because it was too big. (306) The deer in South Carolina were too small for such a large caliper but offered me $175.00 for it claiming a nearly new gun was "all beat up." I also inquired about a leather watch band.....Nada. He said he didn't have anything I would want, didn't show me any options and suggested I go to Walmart for a watch band. They were rude and dismissive as if I was some homeless junkie. I left with my stuff and won't be back. read more
