The Employees are friendly & pleasant! Had extra gold jewelry pieces & wanted to sell them, I got more than I expected. Very pleased & pleasantly surprised! The Jeweler on site is a Master Artist, he's friendly, honest, and has years of experience! My rings were also sized & repaired perfectly! I would highly recommend going to Dick's. I took my ring into Jerry at the Joe White Ave Location and it was the best experience ever! I have a ring that was given to me by my aunt and I have worn it every day for the last 14 years, the Moonstone fell out of it and I took it into Jerry. He took the time to try and get a price on new stone as this one had chipped, and long story short Jerry was able to restore my ring to better than when I gave it to him for repair. It has very intricated metal work as it was made in India and he polished and cleaned it so it was like brand new. Highly suggest Jerry for all your jewelry repair! He is the BEST!! read more

I visited Dicks Pawn in NMB and Michelle was super helpful. I found everything I needed and then some. Great experience.

First of all, Brooke knew EXACTLY what we were looking for! Then an amazing gemologist named Jerrold Schucart took the enhancer Brooke found and turned it onto a masterpiece! I never imagined the ring my husband got me for my 70th birthday would be so gorgeous. I am amazed at all the magic I felt.... I think Dicks is my new Disney World. (And we have been Dick's customers since they opened their doors... and we frequent all 5 locations.) read more

This is the nicer and newer of the Dick's Pawn locations. I find them exceptional for electronics and musical instruments. As long as you know about what you're buying then very fair deals can be had. Based on what I've paid for some very high-end musical instruments, this might not be where you want to pawn/sell that antique Gibson or your 60s Hofner bass because I'm certain they didn't give the seller what I paid and what I paid made me very happy. Just know about what you're buying because they might not. These guys have much higher integrity than most pawn shops but they don't always know about what they're selling. Also be sure to lock up the car while here. It's generally safe but the nearby neighborhood is iffy at times. read more

North Myrtle Beach Jewelry Department: Rude! I inquired about a service then asked to see a ring. Apparently, she had a friend that came in after me that was waiting to make a purchase and she left me waiting. If she had asked if I minded if she rang up a sale first, we would not have had a problem. An an avid pawn shop goer - while on vacation we decided to stop in. The store is clean and well organized. Not heavily stocked, but evidently the store is relatively new. Now...for the jewelry section...OMG! Go through the glass door and you're in a high end jewelry store! Beautiful diamonds, gold, silver and estate stuff. Really nice selection and quality. read more

Bought alot of great rings and bracelets...but some needed to be resized so I met Mr. Joe Lopez who to me is a Master Jeweler! not only did he resize and fix my old jewelry as well, he also fixed a very long very big gold chain that other jewelers said they could not fix! and his prices were so so reasonable! Was looking for a camera for my business. Found one identical to mine but it was packaged in plastic. The reason they gave for the plastic (when nothing else had plastic wrapped) was because it had a strap and a battery charger. From what I could see it looked good and I trusted their comments. So I bought it. The camera was barely functioning. The zoom ground like it was full of sand and there were parts missing. The battery charger didn't work and the battery would not hold a charge. We left for home before I could "return it" and the $10 "repair warranty" isn't worth my time as the shipping from my home would be ridiculous. I accept that it's buyer beware and I'm eating the $140.00. I've never had an issue at a Pawn shop before and it's highly disappointing that Dicks would sell a camera in such poor condition while hiding it's condition with plastic wrap. So sad...so beware!!!! read more
