A great price for breakfast with a hilariously morbid cartoon

Decent americano, tons of croissant options. I had the plain butter one and it was pretty good. Flaky (my hoodie is covered) on the outside and moist on the inside. They have a lot of hot food options, too. Ambiance is pretty corporate feeling, but it's a chain, so that's to be expected.

This little spot was located in the popular area with all the restaurants, I ended up getting the croissant with the cookie and it was surely good. I can see why it went viral, it's a little sweet for those who aren't used to a lot of sugar. They also have a donut version too which I should have ordered instead haha.

Little Pebbles Café has opened up their second location in Little Italy. It was initially hard to locate the café aside from some paper signs in the windows as the overhead signage has not yet been installed. There's plenty of seating and bright light. The walls are adorned with some faux greenery and floral decor. As I came in the afternoon, a fair amount of the pastries were sold out, including their recently famous crookie, which is a cross between a croissant and a cookie. I inquired about whether any of their desserts were dairy reduced. The staff were kind to check in the kitchen as to whether they had any such desserts at the moment. I ended up selecting the pistachio wheel and the hazelnut Yuzu loaf. I also purchased a hot sesame latte with soy milk. I have had Little Pebbles croissants before, and the pistachio wheel with its delicious pistachio cream did not disappoint. The hazelnut loaf was nutty with Yuzu compote sandwiched between the two loaves. Unfortunately the edges did seem over baked and slightly dry. This new café, unlike the one in Kensington, offers some savoury entrees which are reasonably priced around $15. I'm really excited that there are two options for Llittle Pebbles within close proximity from my workplace. Will definitely be back to try some of their new menu items.

Where you order and where you pick up your drink isn't designed to allow for a good flow for customers, aside from that, I have no complaints. I ordered a latte and grabbed two goodies for the road, a raspberry croissant and a ginger molasses cookie. The staff working were welcoming and friendly and my items were ready rather quickly. Once I got back to my hotel, I settled in to enjoy and get some work done. My latte was smooth and creamy and just what I needed to get my day started. My raspberry croissant was beautiful and packed full of flavor. The filling wasn't too sweet and there was just the right amount inside. I saved my cookie for a snack while I traveled home later that day. I love how it had chunks of sugared ginger on top. The cookie had the perfect amount of chew to it and the ginger on top added an extra burst of ginger. It was lovely. I'm so glad I found this cafe on Yelp and I highly suggest you pay them a visit. I'm still dreaming of all the pastries I didn't get to try.

This place looks like a fairly typical breakfast spot, offering a good amount of seating, large menus for both breakfast and Lunch, and of course, a ton of different pancake options! I'm usually not someone who orders temporary menu items or specials, but the second I saw the S'More Toffee Lava Pancakes I almost had a heart attack, so of course, I ordered the stupid pancakes to avoid such an problem. The food didn't take too long to come out, and they looked even better in person than they did in the menu. Maybe I'm just a little over enthusiastic about these pancakes, but I can pretty confidently say these may of been the best pancakes I've ever had. They were big, fluffy, and this plate did not skimp on the toppings at all. Overall, Stacked Pancake & Breakfast has definitely become a go-to spot for me when returning to Toronto. The food here was phenomenal and even though it took us almost 30 minutes for someone to give us a bill and let us pay, the pancakes were too good for me to get hung up on that. If you need some breakfast in the Queen/Spadina area, this is the place to go!

I also had bacon and scrambled eggs and that was a nice touch with everything. The mix of sweet and savory just worked. Portions are solid and the food came out fresh. I would definitely come back.
