Boy, after all the hype asking around for reliable, quick, quality service at my school, I am BEYOND DISAPPOINTED in Melissa and her service! I brought in 10 small handkerchiefs, asked for them to monogrammed for my son's wedding-I told her they are special and for the wedding. When I arrived to pick up on the day she suggested, plenty of time, they were not done. Promised the next day but the work looked rushed, threads uncut, backing remaining on. VERY MESSY!!!! After using their services for the past decade, I am really frustrated and won't be using them again. They did all our stockings in 2018. We welcomed a new baby and needed another one. I brought in original (top stocking) and they were supposed to make other one the same placement, font and size. Not only is the sizing off but the placement is WAY off. I dropped off three tumblers to be etched on a Monday. Their website advertises that they specialize in fast turnaround but when I said I needed them by Friday, she said she'd have to charge me an extra $15 to rush the order and would text me when they're done. Fine, I'll pay extra. Friday came around and no text by 3:00, so I asked my daughter and husband to swing by and pick them up since I was still at work but I know they close at 6:00. The employee acted confused and went in the back and made a long phone call. She came out and told my daughter that their software was down, but they'll get them done that day. By 4:30 I had a text that they were ready. They are closed on weekends, so I changed my plans and rushed over to pick them up and asked if she'd drop the $15 rush charge since we almost didn't get them by the day they promised. She gave me a dirty look and rudely insisted that they didn't forget our order, they just had software problems. The cups look nice, but customer service matters. I will not use Little Notions ever again. read more

What a precious "family owned and family operated" embroidery shop! I walked into this shop to get a rain jacket monogrammed and walked out with several other gifts for family members. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the owner's youngest daughter. She was very warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was not sure what font or the color of thread I wanted. She took a lot of time with me showing me different fonts and looking at various colors of threads. After taking care of my rain jacket, I noticed they had many specialty items to purchase in the shop. I also bought 2 precious duffel bags with an airplane monogrammed on them. They were very colorful and very well made. The very helpful and professional owner, Melissa, came to the front of the shop and helped me choose a font and thread color, with my grandson's names, for the duffel bags. I mentioned to the owner that I was getting ready for a college sorority reunion. She then pulled out a several books, and I chose a t-shirt style for my sorority reunion shirts. She was also going to design koozies with my sorority logo on them. Everything I had ordered was ready before the date I was given and for such reasonable prices. The monogramming was beautiful, and the koozies were perfect! Everything looked fabulous, and the care given to me by the owner and her daughter, was first class. I have been back several times now for various items. I usually just drop off items and let them choose the fonts and thread colors. I am always so excited and happy with the choices they have chosen for me! I will continue to shop at Little Notions, and I highly recommend them to all of my friends! read more

Multiple times stated I wanted EXACTLY like example. Made sure order reflected that. The example, they did several years ago. NEITHER placement or size is correct. Disappointed. Now one stocking will look different from the rest. Given excuses about the size even though same number of characters on front and only one extra on back. Said they could rip it out and redo but no guarantee how it will look. No apologies for doing wrong to begin with. read more

I was in search of an Engraving place for cups I wanted to give to my stepdaughters so they could match the one I gave their dad for his birthday. I left my cups in confidence thinking it was going to be done the following week like I was told on June 2nd. Then a few weeks passed and I didn't hear back from anyone. I gave them a call and a lady stated my cups got pushed back because of Father's Day orders. I was ok with that, then few days pass by and I received a message asking me to send a the picture through email and asked questions about what did the symbol I wanted engraved meant what was the reason for it. Then the person that sent me a message asked me for more pictures of the symbol and I sent a clear picture of it, then never heard anything about the cup being done or if they are going to make it. Few more weeks passed and I sent a message to that same number and stated I was on my way to pick up my cups and no response I'm glad I checked maps and seen they were closed on the weekends if not I would've wasted over one hour of my time and gas for traveling to get my cups back. I hope they get better working with people. read more

I ordered a cell phone wallet on 05/20/19 after calling them many times and waiting I decided to leave a review on 06/14/19. I feel like they did not care about my business and they did not have enough respect to even call and explain why the delay in what I had ordered. By the way I was promised the item I had ordered to be done 5/24/19. I am very disappointed about their customer service and lack of communication. I had to find an alternative present for the person I had ordered for. Don't do business with these people unless you want to wait for months on an item. read more

I bought stockings at an after Christmas sale and decided I wanted them embroidered with our names. I found Little Notions on Yelp and even though they were a bit out of my way I gave it a shot.
