Super cute little spot! All natural italian ice! Fruit, sugar, and water! The person working there was super sweet and let me try all the flavors. All of them were great but I got raspberry and mango! Such a great combo! Everyone else got mango coconut which is the most popular combo! Outside they had some lawn chairs which was really nice since there were a lot of us! It was cool their cups and spoons were biodegradable! Would recommend for anyone looking for a refreshing treat to beat the heat! Happy eating!

SUCH good Italian ice!! Love that this place is local. The flavors are fresh, unlike other Italian ice that uses syrup. Definitely suggest checking them out

Such a cute place!!!

Such a great place!!! DELICIOUS flavors, the friendliest service, cute little place to pop in and grab an Italian ice. They're soon to add sandwiches and soups to their menu. I'll definitely be back!!!

Such a cute little shop in Portage Park. Bright and colorful with fruitful details. Delicious real fruit flavors that are not too common elsewhere like passion fruit, watermelon, coconut, kiwi and grapefruit. Fave is the passion fruit. They have bench seating inside and two bistro tables outside so you can enjoy your treat al fresco on a nice summer day. Always making a stop here when in there area.

Just what the northside needed! A true Italian I've joint, with friendly service and cute ambiance. I've true the blood orange, coconut, & raspberry, all delish.

This one's a winner guys. It's made with real fruit and doesn't have that frozen kool aid kind of flavor. It's the best! I'm hooked now.

Amazing Italian ice, will definitely keep coming back! The coco flavor is by far one of the best I've ever tried!

I ordered the Oreo Milk Tea, and I was honestly blown away. It was so good that I couldn't leave without going back for a second one! That alone should tell you everything you need to know. The customer service made the experience even better. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive, creating an environment that makes you feel appreciated as a customer. Great service paired with amazing drinks is always a winning combination. What really stands out is the combination of great flavors, generous portions, affordable pricing, and a team that makes the experience enjoyable from start to finish. If you're ever in the plaza, do yourself a favor and stop by Matcha EN. This is definitely a spot worth supporting, and I'll absolutely be returning!

Visiting the area and saw good reviews for this spot but after trying it, I'm so confused. I got…read morethe matcha parfait- which was a generous portion but I really question if there was much matcha in it. The color is super bright but not the green I usually associate with matcha. I don't want to claim it was all food coloring but it only taste like vanilla ice cream. It wasn't too crowded at night and was able to get my order fairly quickly. I wouldn't really say this is a good matcha spot since it doesn't seem to have any matcha flavor. I had a suspicion from the menu options that they used to be Kyomatcha (a popular matcha dessert chain) but now called Matcha En. The good reviews are probably from the days it was Kyomatcha and not the current quality.

One thing I personally did not like was that they require customers to pay first before the food comes out. For a sit-down restaurant, I prefer to eat first and pay after, especially when service is expected. The service was not very proactive during our visit. The food was okay, but nothing really stood out to me. For the price, I felt it was a little pricey compared to Taipei Cafe, and the overall experience did not feel worth it. Overall, the food was just alright, the service could be improved, and the pay-first system was not something I liked. I don't think I would come back.

The taiwanese style popcorn chicken and pork cutlet were super juicy and tender with nicely crisp breading. The sausage had a pleasant sweetness to it and was served with garlic chips, which added a nice touch. Finally, the broth of the Sichuan noodles was packing with flavor: sweet, tangy, spicy, umami - truly hit all the spots without being too numbing to your mouth, if thats one of your concerns Would definitely return to try the other menu items, especially their hot sizzling plates and their dessert/drink offerings

Sips in Chinatown…read more.. Chicago to be exact and it was our first stop and with great reason as there is a lot that goes on here as well with various shops and restaurants it is a fun and vibrant open air spot for whatever you're in the mood for though it was walking distance from where we were coming from it's nice to see the have Chicago CTA literally right across the street. With that I found a couple of tea spots and just couldn't resist Te'amo Boba Bar with the giant Panda in a tea cup was too cute to resist and as I entered noticed a POS is where you place your order is nice as I get to browse the menu and see exactly what they had to offer. There is an upgrade in price for the sealed can and I did choose that since I wasn't about to enjoy it right away since we have lunch plans but this cute spot does have indoor seating along with tanghulu and mochi donut the service here preparing all that is fast and efficient. Lovely spot to relax and enjoy in Chinatown. Thank you!
