Yesterday and today I got harassing phone calls while at work and asleep at 6am. Julio called me a thief today before I got to send a payment then lied that I didn't pay for another time. He commented that I have a nice home and I'm a thief and he works paycheck to paycheck. I have never not paid for service, but after the insults and aggregated stress I'm done! I needed to have my entire home cleaned a few days before my home wedding, Julio from Little Lucy's Cleaning Service was the first to respond to me with a quote immediately and was the reason why I booked them right away. I was so worried about vendors not being able to arrive in time but Julio reassured me they would come. The cleaners came into the home with a mission, lots of bathrooms and living areas to cover. They did not waste time the entire service, they were also flexible with us. If we needed another bathroom to get cleaned after saying we didn't, they were able to accommodate us. 2 ladies were sent out and they were excellent, they were efficient, cleaned everything very well. The home is now so beautiful on the inside and ready for our family and friends to come out to. 5 stars all the way, my fiancé and I were so happy to see that they could prioritize different rooms for us based on other vendors working in other rooms setting up for our event. Here's the deal: 1000 sq foot apartment, 2 bed/2 bath. Two guys with busy schedules, two dogs that tear the place apart (one sheds white fur everywhere.) As you can imagine, sometimes life gets the best of us anddddd our apartment becomes a hairy, unkempt, messy, well, mess. We decided to get back to a base line via a deep clean. After browsing multiple services, I went with Little Lucy's because Julio was polite, prompt, and on point with his communications. Pricing estimate was very reasonable for a deep clean and Julio was able to squeeze me in for a Saturday morning slot with only about five days notice. Happy to say the deep clean itself was just as great as the interaction leading up to it! From the moment Julio and his colleague arrived, they got right to work and knocked everything in out in a hair less than two hours. Everything was FANTASTIC--floors: spotless. Counter tops: shiny and without even a hint of crumbs. Shower/bath tub, which were besot with hard water stains--nearly like new! Best of all, no white dog in any of the nooks and crannies! In conclusion, Julio, his colleague, and Little Lucy's did an amazing job with our deep clean! If you need your home set back to square one, then these folks are the way to go! They start out great but become complacent and do not clean thoroughly once they've been coming to your house for a while. Letting Julio know doesn't help as his answer to everything is "I will speak to them". That might work the first time, but the second time just tells me you don't really care how well they are cleaning and you are just concerned with getting paid. Offering for them to come back and complete the job they were supposed to do in the first place might be a more appropriate response. UPDATE - After posting this review, I received the following text from Julio: "Wow that review was totally unnecessary i would of more then come by to fix the issue they missed which were very minor mistakes that would take seconds to fix. I was giving an extremely low charge which is why I didn't offer a refund. We drive out 45 mins every visit most of what you pay goes to gas and supplies. And again if u would of told me u would write me a bad review over 10 inches of dust I would refunded you the whole charge. You talk about us like we insulted you by making such minor mistakes is just very sad" As a response to Julio: 1. It is not my practice to "threaten" anyone with a bad review. You earned this one all on your own. 2. If my location was too far, you should have turned down my business. Not sure how it is my fault you accepted it. 3. You never offered to come back and correct anything. I spoke to you on Wednesday. By Monday I had not heard anything and that is when I canceled my future appointments. 4. I really don't think it is too much to ask that dusting be done EVERY TIME. ESPECIALLY when I am PAYING for it. Then, even after adding more hours and charges, we get told it's our fault because the house was really bad and they needed more time. Why didn't they say so? The house didn't change in size, nor was there more of a mess made. Lol, they offered to come back and correct but also added that they are "bending over backwards for us," as if we are the ones that underbid the job. Classic. Awful job. The ladies showed up around 5pm, unfortunately due to a late cleaning they had beforehand. Which we understood, things happen. But since it was late on a Friday night and it seemed like our cleaning was rushed and halfway done. Half the house was not mopped, there was debris all over our floors and it was far from clean. I told the owner about it and he wanted to send the ladies back but our 1 year old daughter needed to sleep and it was already 7:45pm. After, I sent him a video of the home and he he basically ignored it and still decided to charge us a full price of $240. Which he wanted cash but we didn't have any so he tried to tell us it was a 5% fee for Venmo or Zelle. Which we all know has no fees. I'm assuming he wants to avoid paying taxes by getting paid in cash. As a business owner myself, it should have been made right and this review would have never been written. The first visit went well. Then 2nd was not. They were half an hour late. I relayed my dissatisfaction with their work: didn't replace the trash cans, didn't dust the furniture or clean the den. They only vacuumed the rooms but didn't dust or dust the blinds. There were 3 ladies and they didn't even sweep the floors. I just heard them say bye and I went after them and asked why they didn't even sweep. She said so sorry and they rushed sweeping. I asked them to take off their shoes or put a cover and at the end they didn't do that. They had another house which was a bigger house than mine and they were rushing everything to go there. They should treat clients the same. We are all paying clients. I expressed my disappointment with their service to Julio and he said they would come back the next day. The following day they were and hour and 15 mins late and requested to clean even though we were leaving. When I got home they did not dust any of the furniture in the den, unplugged our cable box and now our TV isn't working. I reached out to Julio and he only deducted $10! Never ever will use them again and I do not recommend them at all unless you are a 4k square foot home that probably pays more than $170 (which is already pretty pricey) then they will rush to your house. read more
