The Little Harp is a well-positioned pub on Clevedon sea-front, with beautiful sea-front views. My wife and I have been there often for lunch/dinner and drinks since we first moved to Clevedon in 2016. Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago when my wife was in there for dinner with our two young daughters (aged 4 and 1), a man repeatedly shouted at our 1 year old daughter to 'shut up', and then exclaimed that 'she shouldn't f**king be in here'. My wife went to the manager to get a refund so she could leave and take the kids away from this man and the manager merely offered to move her and the kids to another table, but didn't reprimand the abusive man for his behaviour. I have since been in to speak to the manager myself and ask her if she is going to bar the man from the pub on account of his behaviour and she said she'd 'speak to the boss about it'. I cycled passed the pub yesterday and there he is, back in there, enjoying a few beers. So me, my family, my wider family and friends, will never be setting foot in this pub again - this is a pub that willingly accepts abusive aggressive behaviour towards babies, on account of the perpetrator being a 'regular'. If you've got young children - steer clear, you're not welcome in The Little Harp. read more
