I was excited to try this location after seeing many positive reviews on yelp however i was a bit dissatisfied. I ordered the calamari and chicken gyro platter. The platter was really good, the meat itself was delicious! however the rice was too hard and wasn't exactly basmati. The biggest dissatisfaction was the calamari, it was almost rubbery and extremely hard. I could barely eat it and it didn't taste fresh or good, it had to be frozen. Just please remove it from the menu! Hope things can improve in these areas. read more

BUT like everywhere prices are up like 50%on my favorite platter for 2! 30 when I first got it And now 50. Makes me sad but harder for consumers to eat out. More money and slightly smaller portions. Went in to grab a quick sandwich for a coworker. Doesn't smell very clean, but no big deal. There's a big fryer so it's OK I guess. Not exactly greeted with a smile but no problem people have bad days . I asked for a BLT wrap, and was asked if I wanted meat in it... wasn't sure how to answer that if there were something else I should be expecting (BLT?) when I dare to ask a question it seemed like the gentleman was annoyed. This is a great little place for decent take out Greek food. They have reasonable prices and good sized portions. There's a family platter meal that feeds 4 and is a great deal in my opinion. It comes with a lot of carbs so you'll definitely be full lol. They've had to raise prices but who hasn't. I'm pretty sure the gyro meat isn't homemade because I've seen them put a frozen block on the spit but I could be wrong. Still tastes good. Their tzatziki sauce is really good too. Nice and thick. Ordered takeout for a small group of us and was NOT disappointed and was actually more impressed than expected. It was 6 of us but ordered (2) platters (which is meant for 2) + hummus + fries. The platters were packed. They came with ample of each protein (chicken gyro, lamb gyro, grilled chicken), really buttery rice pilaf with peas, soft yummy pita, and potatoes. The hummus was cooked well and authentic and then the side of fries was perfectly crispy and flavorful. Decided to try this place since Uncle Pete's is closed. Pleasantly surprised. The chicken and lamb meats were very flavorful. The hummus was good. The fries were exceptional; battered and seasoned. I came in for the first time a few days ago to get a quick bite. I was excited to try this restaurant since I love trying out new places. However, I was quickly disappointed. Right from the start this did not feel very welcoming, the employees were not very attentive- yet they were very busy among themselves. I saw unsanitary practices between the staffs and even saw one of them sit on the kitchen table (the same table that food is made). I saw flirting behavior preformed and was a bit uncomfortable. When I got home, something had leaked and the bottom of the bag broke and spilled food all over my driveway. A gem in the neighborhood! This place is located in the two brothers pizzeria parking lot. Parking is never an issue around 7-9pm for the dinner rush. I had the lamb gyro the first time and it was really yummy. Lots of salad and meat on the gyro. This second time, I ordered the lamb gyro platter. Was very surprised to find peas. I was a little thrown off until I put it in my mouth. Note that I hate peas! It was pretty taste. Seemed like it was cooked in butter. Everything taste good with butter! The basmati rice was perfectly cooked. The salad was fresh. It was a delicious dinner! It's a big size portion and enough for my tomorrow lunch. I would totally recommend this place! Lastly, the cashier is really friendly and attentive to those staying to eat at the restaurant and those ordering out. She packs the food to go nicely and it stays intact by the time I get home. I've eaten from this little gem three times now and each time i almost ate myself sick. The food is that good. I'll start by saying that the food is always fresh, plentiful and so so tasty. I've had the little Hades which i was weary about but had to try. It was quite good. Also the grilled vegetable wrap which took my by surprise. When my wife ordered it I was expecting a bunch of bland soggy veggies rolled up in a standard wrap but i have to say i was wrong. I don't care for veggie stuff but i took a bite of this wrap merely because of the wonderful aroma i was wafted with when i opened the container. It was deeelish! The vegetables were nicely seasoned and the wrapp was pressed & toasted to golden brown perfection. So good. And the icing on the cake for me was the Iskander. There's only a few places around here to get it and this place doesn't disappoint. Absolutely fantastic. The basmati rice comes with peas and is excellent as are the french fries. The chicken lemon soup is not what you may be used to getting from the greek places. Its more brothy than creamy but very good nonetheless. Excellent tzatziki as well. The service is always very good and delivery was promt. Two thumbs up across the board! I'm lovin this place. Sorry for the lack of pics.
