At the end you will find a beautiful home and a lovely LFL painted to match, chock full of great reading material for adults and older kids. The part I can't figure out is who would come here. It's such a remote, little spot that I can't imagine it has more than a few visitors a month. Maybe just a dozen or so a year. And I'd wonder if they were mostly folks on the same street. No matter. It's a lovely library next to a beautiful home with an amazing view. It's worth the visit just to see those three.

It was exquisite and lovely. And once I got done admiring the craftsmanship of the LFL I realized how beautiful the home was and considered how much thought and care and effort the owners had put into it. And then they rolled down the street and pulled into the driveway in 50's beach car that I couldn't identify. Exquisite was the word that kept coming to mind. Exquisite.

She explained that her son had made the library and it was he who had come up with the unusual roofline planter. She then offered me some of her homegrown grapefruit. Considering all the fear and anxiety that so many people are going through with the Corona virus it was sweet to enjoy a little person to person interaction and a little human kindness. It's nearly as vital as the air we breathe.
