This Massive Free Library has a smattering of books for all types of readers in addition to games and a couple small toys. It's one more reason to step out of the car and stroll a bit. In this target-rich neighborhood, you could hit 4 different LFL's in a single walk. It's wonderful and generous and makes our neighborhoods that much more interesting.

This has to be one of the most uniquely sited Little Free Libraries I've ever seen. Attached to a…read morebridge over a creek, this generous LFL was easily twice the size of most of the others you find. But the contents were soaking wet. Not musty or damp, several of the books were dripping wet. I can only guess that someone tossed them into the creek and someone else retrieved them and, without drying them, put them back in the LFL. Odd.

There's a bird feeder and water available for the little critters. And an adorable little bench at kiddo height near the library. He explained that he first saw an LFL on a trip to the east coast of Canada. That's a long way to go for a library! He saw others once he was back home and decided his neighborhood needed one too. So he repurposed a tri-level garage cabinet and filled it full of his favorites. And if you find that fascinating book that demands to be read right now, he's furnished his yard with a chair, a bench and two flat stumps for your sitting pleasure. And the rules that are so familiar at a traditional library do NOT apply here. You're welcome to eat, drink, speak loudly, sing and play instruments while you're here.
