On the day I arrived nearly every nearby tree was covered in beautiful purple flowers. It was a wonderful, almost fantastical scene. The LFL had a pretty broad selection of books perfect for the school's student population, middle school kiddos. And the books all seemed to be in good shape. Sadly it looked like the library had either been vandalized or suffered some rough wear. One door had come entirely off and the window in the other was in question. But $10 in materials and a little TLC and it would be in top form. It's a great encouragement to eager young readers so I hope it gets the care it needs.

My son attended kinder care for 2 1/2 years. We had an amazing experience the staff were very friendly and personable. The park has a dirt track that's wide enough so that people can shuffle or sprint here without interfering with one another. The trees and plants are also gorgeous, and there are signs everywhere explaining why these particularly (local) species were selected and how the local watershed works. There are large concrete benches/stairs on the southern end of the track, so there's plenty of space to sit and watch even if you're not joining your exercising friends. The community center looks cool, and there's a Little Free Library out front that I like to use. It's so random that this is here!
