I woke up yesterday deciding to send my partner a bouquet of flowers but wanted same day delivery. Did a quick search and noticed that Mr K's was very close to his house. I gave them a ring and described the situation. Their team was so easy to work with and took down all my notes after I did a horrible job of stating which flowers, etc.. I simply kept saying vibrant, full, and pops of color. Well with my vague request they made something completely memorable. Once I received pictures from my partner I was so happy with how they turned out. I'll definitely be using them but just be aware they do have a standard fee for delivery. My only feedback is that I wish I received a call once they were delivered or confirmation of a payment. But hey this is so minor and the flowers are truly worth 5 stars. Loved that I was able to support local even though I'm all the way in New Orleans.

There was only one sunflower, and I made suggestions, not realizing it would be a custom item. Emily, the clerk should have told me that it was custom order. I paid $20.00 to have it delivered, receipt had $20.80 and then I was charged additional tax on the delivery. I would not recommend this shop. Janet

The long and the short of it is they were really too busy for my business. Dawn said she had weeks of flower orders that were already on their board ahead of mine as well as a funeral. She told me they did everything right. She sure knows how to throw customer service out the door! My son's house is only 2.3 miles from this florist shop. Just beware! And remember.....Dawn will insinuate they are always right and you are wrong. There are too many other choices to use as a florist so no more business from me.

Ah, the Golden Triangle! There are a TON of galleries dotted about this zone of art and ambiance,…read morebut I was very impressed by the reception and presentation at Walker Fine Art! If you are a patron of the art scene in Denver, you know that there are a large number of independent galleries that on a regular basis show the creations of local area artists, highlighting the very remarkable talents that our state has to offer. That said, the Denver art scene experience can be varied from 'pinkies out' ("expensive art") to very laid back (basically a garage sale). Walker Fine Art is in a class of it's own. A private owned gallery who's owner displayed deep insight into the the art and the artists. The owner and curator, Bobbi Walker, is a hands on, affable, and extremely knowledgeable host, and made my visit far deeper than a stroll around the works. The art I saw ranged from the entry level collectors budget to, 'one of these days I'm going to get something like that', but all of it worth every penny, to be sure. Of course the art is on rotation, so I will be back to see what Denver turns out next! If you are on a journey through Denver's Art District (the 'Golden Triangle') I would highly recommend swinging by to look at whatever rotation is on display. You are sure to see something that will make it worth the stop!
