They finally offered me contract only to retract it a day later because I didn't understand how Wilhelmina Denver is joint with Fogg Management. They then stated I should find representation in my state when they have a bunch of models signed out of state on their roster. Please make it make sense. Stay away from this spin off agency that call themselves a Wilhelmina modeling agency. The customer service I received from Katie Van Horne was completely rude and unacceptable. It made us weary of future encounters with this company. We walked away from our daughters contracts, we never saw any of their modeling pictures taken by their photographer Jessica and lost out on $ 900 dollars. It was worth not having to deal with some of the women that help run this company. Katie Van Horne and her side kick Brooke are out for themselves. Don't waste your time with this Denver Wilhelmina go to a REAL modeling agency that doesn't threaten you when it comes to wanting more money and treats a customer with kindness and respect. I'm super glad that I found Wilhelmina. I was on a pretty tight timeline for an ad I was shooting and I needed three actresses right away with unusually specific criteria. I worked with Cassie. She was able to provide some really great options and set up an audition within a couple days after I first contacted her. The whole process was very new to me and Cassie made it all run very smooth. I signed with Wilhelmina Denver in June 2018 and I've never had a greater experience with another agency. I've modeled professionally for 11 years and can say that the education and preparation they offer newly signed models is above and beyond. All models and actors are required to attend an orientation after signing and they're also provided with a very detailed info packet - everything from how to create a acting resume to what you should pack in your model bag for castings and shoots. We took our daughter in for open casting .... not sure what to expect. A few weeks later we heard back & she was offered a contract. Being new to the entire process the staff at Wilhelmina has been very helpful. Anytime I have questions they always get back with me in a timely manner. Prior to signing with Wilhelmina, I signed with another agency and received no communication and worst off, no work at all. This industry can be tough and I appreciate all the work the ladies do behind the scenes so that I can succeed. I was formally with Wilhelmina in Denver. My contract involved development which included having modeling pictures taken and other coaching. It cost me $1,200. I was never happy with the pictures or the way I was represented (in those pictures) to clients and in my portfolio and on the website. In the time I was with them I did not get any paid jobs. I had to pay $1,200 and I never got any money back from my investment! I was new to modeling so did not have a sense of my rights or my choices. I left and went to another market. I found out that other modeling agencies are not run like Wilhelmina Denver. Other agencies give you a choice of photographers and that the agents review the pictures with you. I was also told exactly what the photographer charges the agency. There were no hidden fees. Then I was told that if the agent or I am not happy with the pictures I can get others taken for free. I was also told that the pictures in Denver were unusable in my new market. They did not represent me. The other agency also told me that the pictures I got were not professional level. They were too dark or too washed out, the color was off and that the retouching was unprofessional too. I wanted to write this review so other potential models know what they are getting into. $1,200 is a lot of money to waste! read more

Wow. Quite the reviews. I was renting one of the properties next door and saw this place. I told my son I'd take him in and see what the deal was. They had us fill out a form and then we sat down with some girl and she took his height and weight and eye color and said she may or may not contact us in two weeks with a contract. I didn't see it as like a real big scam...they didn't want any money and if you get a contract they take 20% so it seemed like a win-win to me, but from the reviews I will definitely be cautious. read more

Not only did Wilhelmina Denver stand out as the best choice for my personal talent agency, they have quickly become the primary agency I book through when casting talent for the commercials I produce behind the camera, as well. The Wilhelmina ladies are everything I need them to be, as both their talent and their client. They are professional, organized, hard working, reliable, fair, and experienced veterans in this industry. My agent alone, Cassie Keefe, previously worked for NBC & MTV and today serves as President of the Colorado Film & Video Association in her "free time"! From the bottom of my heart, I am eternally grateful to have found Cassie and this team. They have made this move and transition seamless, I have booked more work through them as talent this year than I have any of my other agents around the country, and am proud to continue working with them "behind the scenes". Lastly, it is disheartening to read some of the reviews listed on this page. I started in this industry at the age of 7 and remember what it was like being a child in this business. If this team recommends you update your portfolio to stand out, this isn't a scam - this is helping you increase your booking potential in a competitive market. I have been modeling all over the world for the last 6 years and have been signed with over 20 different agencies. I recently moved to Denver to settle down with my girlfriend two years ago and signed with Wilhelmina Denver. I have never for a second regretted it. All the ladies here are honest, hardworking, and really care for their models (especially the young/new-to-the-modeling-thing girls - that really need to be looked out for in a typically tough/exploitative industry like this one. While I certainly respect all views/opinions of others, typically most of the negative reviews you'll find on Yelp about ANY modeling agency (just go look at any in LA or NY - or don't and just trust me) are simply those who were not signed by the agency (harsh, but true). Horrible that this office represents the name. huge let down! had same issues as woman above regarding my sons photos done by their own recommended photographer who they claim is #1 in the state. I had the pictures looked over by real professionals and the feedback was negative! when I brought the concern to their attention, they imediatly canceled his contract and told us to find another agent. so much for problem solving or solutions! i have never met someone so unprofessional as the woman Brooke who runs the joint. absolutely unreal! RUDE. Poor customer service. A lot of places like this have a mentality that they are doing you a favor by talking to you. And I understand, that getting a modeling contract can be quite the opportunity. We brought our toddler daughter into their open hours review, and my husband was treated very poorly by them. There was a dog in the lobby that my daughter was very excited to see, and when my husband stood up to walk over to the dog, they rudely told him he needed to have a seat. And continued to say "have a seat sir!! " as if he was a child. Once it was his turn, they were very abrupt with my daughter. She cried for a few seconds when my husband stood her up to take the photograph, and they told him to go ahead and pick her up and rushed him through the process. They treated her as if she was a rotten brat, when she just cried briefly because she was confused about what was going on. Anyway, I'm sure they think that we are beneath them, but truth be told, she was offered two contracts this week alone, so they can snub us all they want. My daughter signed with Wilhelmina when she was about 16. I'm reading these reviews, talking about customer service. This is a modeling and talent agency....not a Taco Bell drive through. They will not coddle your children as they are very busy...for a reason. They know what they are doing and have contacts all over the world. The models are given AMPLE opportunity to meet with other top agencies and talent agents. If you walk in, expecting your child to be a "star" right off the bat....it doesn't work that way. Some of the models with Wilhelmina Denver have been there for years....working and learning. It takes time. Sometimes it takes money for photo shoots. They have photographers they like and know; but were always open to let us work with others. Their expectations are high....but shouldn't they be, for the sake of everyone involved? Our daughter is no longer with Wilhelmina; but it was her choice because of other priorities. This team looks out for the kiddos...but if you go in there, expecting to be a helicopter parent from hell....don't expect to waste yours or their time. read more
