The indoor portion is mostly music and lights. It's actually really well done. You can push different buttons and witness different light and music themes. I was surprised at how diverse the music was and how many musical choices you could choose. The outdoor version changes over time, but this time I was tracking nine fairies or nymphs, or like creatures, that encouraged harmony and love of nature. I scanned all nine spots and got a free little gift at the end. It's a cool, funky little space. Lots of nooks and crannies. A big papasan swing. Alien like animal sculptures. Plants everywhere. I can't remember what I paid, but it was nominal, and worth the little detour here. It's on Broadway, which parts of Broadway are lively and packed, but this one was a little more dead and vacant. The staff is super nice. The prices in the shop are reasonable for work by independent artists.

You have to park in the street. They do give you a free coin to store your belongings in a locker for the duration of your stay. The museum itself is kinda small. Although it has 3 floors, there's only 1-2 exhibitions per floor. The rooftop is also small & the outdoor city views are sort of limiting. So in general, you can easily complete the whole museum in a matter of 30-60 min tops. They feature rotating exhibitions. So every few months or so, the theme is different & you can come back to see totally new artwork. It's really nice that they feature local artists that are Denver based and display their ideas & artistry to the world. I really enjoyed spending some time in the afternoon walking around & admiring some of the art. It was definitely a good way to kill time & spend time indoors away from the heat/cold.

If you get a chance to attend their events, they are really fun and worth the price of admission. I also really enjoy their ever rotating art collection. They have some really great local and minority artists, but what really tugged on my heart this time was the exhibit of teen artists. Absolutely adore seeing kids express themselves through art, and their statements about their art were truly eloquent. Parking downtown sucks, as usual, but if you come on a Sunday you might be able to find a metered spot for free. I'm sure I'll be back, most likely for an event! I know I'll be recommending their teen program to some of my more artistic students.

I went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was muted and a little underwhelming. Several galleries, some frame shops, some vintage shops. The Denver Ballet company. Surprisingly, there were a couple cocktail lounges (not open til 5), but no restaurants within 8/10 of a mile. I went to three galleries. The third I wanted to visit was closed, even though they were supposed to be open (the sign on the door warned us, sometimes we just aren't here). I think things probably liven up after 5 and on weekends. And there are monthly art days (I think first Friday). But overall it seems like it's starting to die. Worth a stop, but not worth going out of your way. If you're looking for art, the Denver Museum of Art is right there along with the Kirland and a lot of public art.

Designed specifically to display Clyfford Still's work, this "small" museum (as many of my museum colleagues would call it) is actually quite large - enough for a few hours of wondering... The building itself is a beautiful and perfectly complements the art collection's scale, themes, and colors. I was told it has over 3000 pieces (over 90%) of the artist's works; and he believed the best way to experience an artist's work was by seeing it all in one place. It was indeed a great experience to be submerged in such an environment -- you feel so much more who he was and what he wanted to express. Must give this "small" museum a BIG applause! Everything was nicely done and it was a great pleasure to visit. AND, their website (https://clyffordstillmuseum.org/) is absolutely amazing! I've seen many museums' websites and theirs is the first one where I saw "Accessibility Adjustments" tool (look for the small person in a circle at the lower left corner) that helps people with different challenges.
