Numerous times my trash isn't picked up. Let week my trash wasn't picked up again. Called and left voicemail because no one will ever answer and sent email with no answer. If they choose to not pick up your trash you will still have to pay with no response. read more

Very inconsistent service (rarely come on scheduled day), and the operators leave the lids open, so the cans fill up with water or snow and/or easily tip over. I usually have to drag my rolling bins out of the ditch. read more

Little Dumpsters has neglected to pick up our trash for over 2.5 weeks. We have had multiple conversations with them and after we were promised the trash would be picked up , it's still sitting there. They sold us on the family business nature of their company but when you collect money for services rarely performed something has to be done. Our whole neighborhood look so bad because of all the trash that's piling up because it's been 2 weeks since they came to get the trash. Very unprofessional but when they want payment or raise their prices you have to be on top of it. If I could give them a zero I would. They literally miss trash pick up ALL the time. More often than not my cans don't get picked up. They do not answer their phones and they do not care at all about customers. We went out of our way to support their small business but it is NOT worth it. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else!!! I have a month worth of trash outside my house and they refuse to pick it up week after week and this happens all the time. This place is absolute garbage. No pun intended. They had someone go door to door to switch to their company. The price was slightly less than I was already paying and they didn't have restrictions. Sounded like a great deal. Well they never show up. Currently we are on week 2 of not having our trash picked up and they when they finally returned my call they let me know that they wouldn't be back till the following week! That's going to be 3 weeks of trash sitting on my sidewalk. My mailman can't get to my mailbox already. I was trying to talk to the lady and she decided to hang up on my. I am really getting frustrated with the service, I understand how a small local business may have difficulties in servicing area when there is bad weather, and that was the reason I got for missing our pickup yesterday in an email, but this morning I was told by a live rep that they have 2 trucks down, and last year I was told they had a staffing shortage when there was another issue... We've also had problems with consistency of service. They just can't seem to come at consistent times. Also, they want to charge $5 to send you a normal paper bill in the mail! Who does that?? The only positive practice is that they will allow you to put out extra bags for free, so that's something. But they are about 50% more than their biggest competitor, so is that worth it?? They also bill in advance and if you are a couple of days late, they will stop service and leave you hanging with trash. They just don't understand good customer service. read more

Driver barely avoided causing a multiple car pile up on Crowfoot from Castle Rock heading towards Parker around 5PM tonight. I was 2 cars behind the truck and he missed his turn and slammed on his breaks to flip a u-turn, crossing over a double yellow line. The car in front of me and I were able to break in time, but the cars behind were moving into the shoulder to narrowly avoid hitting the person in front of them. Terrifying experience. read more

I have given this company so many chances. Five in total that they have not picked up my trash. I am going with another company hoping for the best. I was told today that this company is going to charge me $48 to pick up the empty bin. Which is kind of ridiculous since they can't pick up my trash. We switched to Little Dumpsters last summer when they went door to door promising how reliable they are. They were fine for the first few months, and since then they have been wildly unreliable. Our trash pick up day is supposed to be Thursday, but I can't remember the last time our trash was picked up on that day of the week. Currently it is Saturday afternoon and our trash and recycling are still sitting outside. I tried to call yesterday and today and the call went straight to voicemail. It is extremely frustrating. We are going to switch back to our old company as soon as we can reach someone to cancel. I definitely don't recommend this trash service. read more

HORRIBLE company. I had trash service with them for over a year. Many times they did not show up to pickup trash. They would blame the weather or shortage of drivers but would not notify you they were no picking up trash that week. Now I am moving and called them to cancel on a certain date. They got the date wrong, took my trash can away to early and want to charge me a fee to bring it back. It was their mistake and they admitted it, but do not want to remedy the problem without me giving them more money. They also never answer their phones and do not respond to emails. read more

Like so many other people, we tried little dumpsters and have been frustrated with their so-called service ever since. Half the time they don't show up and they never send an email like they say they will, they don't answer their phones. When you call to find out why they didn't show up. Yesterday they never showed up. My husband called and then called again this morning. Left four messages and finally told them he was canceling service. Now they call back! They're threatening to charge us $89 for canceling! We never signed a contract and have never heard of a cancellation fee for trash companies. So I'm wondering if this is a scam. Will be leaving reviews everywhere we can end. Have already talked to neighbors who are just as mad about the lack of service, one neighbor said they have trash in their garage because of this company, trash. Trash. It was supposed to be picked up and never was. Oh, and the one excuse we got the last time was that it was cold out! Well I'm sorry, sometimes it snows in Colorado! The worst. Nothing but excuses and lies when they miss a pickup - and it happens quite often. They don't call back when voice mails are left. The person that does answer the phone (after long waits) is incompetent and confused. They send rate increase notifications with no details and charge three months at a time a month in advance. I was impressed with the women on the phone, so I decided to go with this company. My first collection day was 2/28/22. My trash didn't get picked up. I called the next day and was told that due to the bad weather the week before, they were behind, and that it would be picked up that day, Tuesday. It wasn't. I called again. I was given the same excuse and was told my trash would get picked up that day, Wednesday. It wasn't. Thursday or Friday I was told that the driver showed up late for work on Monday. I said wait a minute, you've been telling me all week that it was because of the weather last week and now it's because of a driver. I was assured that on Monday, the 7th, my trash would be picked up. On Monday I watched the driver drive right past my house. No pickup. I called. They said they were doing another work order and that the driver was on his way to my area and would be there in 2 hours. Nothing. Again, I called and was told it would be picked up on Tuesday. Nothing. As you can tell, I'm either a patient person or just crazy. I have called them a total of 14 times since 3/2/22. Today, after I called, they called me back and I told them to refund my money. Which they are supposedly doing. I believe in small, family owned businesses, just not this one. read more

Having moved from Denver to Aurora I had to set up trash/recycling pick up. Over the summer a young gal, probably a summer intern, knocked on my door, and being committed to supporting local/entrepreneurial businesses I said I would switch. She told me that they would contact my current provider one week before the end of my term. They did not. They missed one or two pickups between Oct 1 and the end of Nov. The last 2 weeks of December they did not show up. Last week (first week of January), again, no pick up. I have called and left messages. No answer and no call back. This is terrible. I wish I had checked yelp before I agreed to switch. Lesson learned. I am calling my former service provider now!! read more

Door salesman for this company came to my house 6 months ago and told me how much money he could save me and how much they appreciate and treat their customers better than the large companies. Switched over and since have had recycle service intermittently, like whenever they might have an employee who has time to drop by rather than the regular service for every other week I pay for. I have a full can with 3+ weeks of recycling sitting there waiting right now. Called and emailed, no response yet and also no one has come. Little dumpsters - if you are listening, have your trash service offer to pick up everything if you can't send recycle! Or get it together for your own sake. we have been with this company for over a year and all of the sudden they are skipping our trash when they pick up the neighbors that we recommend for their service. no ever answers and if they do they lie , we have video surveillance that shows them passing our home by . now I have another neighbor asking who we use but I wouldn't give them a recommendation . Horrible from the get go. I would put my cans on one side of the driveway, because that is the closest to where I kept them, but the would return to the opposite side of where I left them. Then I wanted to cancel months later because they changed my recycling schedule and never notified me. 4 weeks later, I can't talk to anyone but Logan, who seems to be the only actual person that works there. In the past 9 months Little Dumpster has failed to pick up either my garbage or recycle. They don't notify us, make us go to their website to find out they are not picking up. Also they say they will pick up the following week/bi-week and that we can put out 2 Xs but it won't fit into the only 1 each garbage or recycle can they make us pay for.....Sorely dissappointed in them. read more

Little Dumpsters has a difficult time doing their service obligation on a weekly basis, holiday delay or inclement weather. (Cloudy day) But they are more than happy to send an email stating one day delay which is followed by we will do a double next week. It is not uncommon for another waste service company to offer to take or pickup just because it is there. We switched to that management service. Then if you call Little Dumpsters phone number you are greeted with a recording. If you are called back, be advised you have only a few seconds to state your issue before you get talked over with excuses, issues and problems directly as a result of them doing you a favor and you are unappreciative of their efforts. When you bring up customer service it is again you have set the tone and again it is your fault that she behaved in this manner and you are just another unappreciative customer of their fine service. I guess if we could all bill in full for partial service we would also be riddled in guilt and justified in our behaviors. Not accepted practices from where I am from. But just my opinion! read more

Our recycling has not been picked up in three weeks, and when we called for the 3rd day in a row which happened to be our trash day we finally got a calm back 45 mins after trash had been picked up and I got a snarky response of "well if you wanted your recycling picked up with the trash you would have to call to tell us that" ummm why do you think you had 3 messages over the last 3 days from me???? I put my recycling can out with the trash but put some of the recycling on top of the trash bin and in front of the trash bin, and they moved it out of the way to the side and just left it there not even next to my recycling bin and did not take it... was told they would call dispatch to see if they can come back to pick our recycling up and then it might be the next day. This was two days ago and I still have not heard back from them. What an unacceptable service from a company we are forced to have by our HOA. read more

THE WORST COMPANY. Wendy I'm not sure how she has a job. She's completely rude and incompetent at her job. Not only does this company regularly not pick up our garbage and then wait days to contact customers but if THEY miss recycling they tell us to wait another two weeks OR THROW OUR RECYCLING AWAY!! Definitely not the first time they've told us to do that. what kind of company is this?!? They constantly have "issues with their trucks or staff". Well if that's the case don't have a business. OR better thought don't make your issues your costumes issues. Make up for the issues you cause. I asked to speak with the manager but according to little Wendy she doesn't "keep track of her managers schedule" to provide me with any information. This company doesn't contact any customers even though Lovey Wendy said she emailed everyone Monday, shocking since our entire street has had their trash out since Monday. For the most part we were pleased with the service. However, we are getting ready to move out of state and have had nothing but problems trying to cancel our services. They bill for 3 months at a time, nothing new there. We were only going to need the service for one month and then have the canisters picked up. My mother called and thought she had explained everything and paid for the 1 month and the canister pick up. The few days, she kept getting calls saying she still owed. Numerous infuriating calls later, I finally got on the phone. I asked two different phone calls to speak to the manager and was told she was not in either day. The woman they kept sending us to (I don't know her name but she cannot explain in SIMPLE terms because it sounds like English is not her 1st language. It's not the lack of English that bothered me, it was the fact that she couldn't communicate properly with us) FINALLY got it squared away, saying that she had us ending our service the end of July. I corrected her and said no, it's the end of Aug and she backtracked and said yes, the end of Aug. Friday came around, the day our trash is to be picked up, and it did not get picked up. They usually come between 8-10am. By 4:30 it was still there. I called and they said they have until 7pm to pick up. Saturday rolls around and our FULL trash can is still outside. Of course it is the weekend and no one in the office. I called at 9am Monday morning and had to leave a message, asking for ONLY THE MANAGER to call me back. I received a call back a little while later, NOT from the manager, and was asked to leave information because the manager, Julie or Julia, would be in later that day. I waited ALL DAY for that phone call - it never came. I called back, ONCE AGAIN, and asked to speak to the manager. I was told she was not in AGAIN. I then explained that our trash was not picked up Friday. She goes on to say that YES, it was picked up around 2:30pm. MY TRASH CAN WAS STILL FULL, HOW COULD IT HAVE BEEN PICKED UP. SOMEONE IS LYING!!!! I asked again to speak to the manager, they just wanted to send me to the woman who has communication problems again. I said I didn't want to speak to her, I wanted to speak to a manager that appears to NEVER COME TO WORK. I understand that as a manager, you have many duties. But when you have a dozen phone calls from 1 customer that is angry, THE MANAGER SHOULD BE CONTACTING THAT CUSTOMER TO TRY TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT!! They wanted me to wait until next Friday to pick up my trash. 1) my can is overflowing at this point (like I said, we are getting ready to move and have lots of trash), 2) we have have raccoons that like to go through our trash, and 3) WE PAID FOR THAT PICKUP THAT NEVER HAPPENED!!!! I was told they will try to get it picked up before Friday but cannot fully commit to it. I am BEYOND FURIOUS at this point. The lack of customer service and responses from ANY MANAGER is utterly unprofessional. Before all of this happened, I would've recommended this company. But now, 1 star is too generous after dealing with all of this. At this point, I no longer want the manager to contact me, I want the OWNER to contact me. They have all my contact information at the office, so you can call them for my phone number!!!! read more

This company in my opinion is a horrible service. When signed up I was told it would be auto pay was just informed through email that because the person who came to my doors CC reader is encrypted this did not happen. Now I'm on credit hold and they are charging an extra $25.00 for this because they failed to mention the salesman lied. They also told me they would cancel my other service. This was also wrong they did send a letter but your trash company doesn't let someone else cancel your bill they need you to call in to confirm. I got charged an additional cycle for this because i thought it was taken care of. In my case the cans have almost never fully been emptied. They leave half of the garbage and recycling in the can for the next trip. They also switch pickup days and don't inform the customer. They came a day late on recycle day with no notice and i thought they missed my house. The next day i see them slow down in front of my house and just keep driving. I truly wish i would have stuck with my former trash company as soon as i prove there in breach of contract or my term runs out they will be sent down the road. Stay away... read more

For the entire month of January, my trash is not picked up on the scheduled day (Friday) they would show up sometimes at 530 or 6pm on a Saturday. I asked if they switched my pick up day they say no. Now, this past Friday 1/28 a complete NO SHOW!!! I reach out again Saturday and Sunday, finally get a response that says sorry for the inconvenience we will pick up it on your normal route day this week. I told them just come pick up your cans with my trash and I am done. I asked for confirmation of my cancellation and full refund for the prepaid 2 months. Complete radio silence. I get excuses using covid and I told them that this does not warrant piss poor customer service. An email, phone call or something to inform your customers is quite easy. Then mysteriously today I get an email (automated) stating that they are going to delay everyone a day for weather. WOW! So, your system does work. BTW December wasn't much better. I am cancelling and moving on. Tried to support local, but these guys are the worse. AVOID and DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM AT ALL. read more
