This relates to what comes across as current communication issues. And if I come to Yelp and highlight the good, it is only fair to also highlight when an experience with a company... is not good. I do not have a problem with a business being busy. That is a good problem for a business to have. My issue comes, when instead of saying you are busy, the business continually makes appts or followups they do not keep. At that point you do something I have a problem with, you waste the one thing none of us can afford to waste, you waste time. In this case you waste my time and that, especially when you do it repeatedly, I find annoying and unprofessional. If you can't do a job, say that, I am happy to give business to others. And it is preferable to over-promising and under-delivering. Will not belabor the point, that is my most recent experience. And hopefully this review saves you... time. Thanks.

The owner of handyman took care of all repairs associated with the water damage thank you very much yes we are all human and we make mistakes but they owned up to their mistakes and fixed the problem again thank you. install a vanity in my third-floor bathroom. Mr. James Ellenberger was the insulator. This company drilled right through my water pipe and flooded my house. And did not want to take responsibility until I had to get a plumber out here to figure out what the problem was and where the leak came from and sure enough it was confirmed by the licensed plumber that the installer Which works for Mr. handyman drilled right into my waterline flooded my first second and third floor. This company don't want to pay to restore my home or better yet the owner wants to sell his people to restore my home why would I trust them to do anything in my home ever in life. And this company couldn't even have the decency to refund my money for the work done considering they messed everything up again. The power wash went well and pictures were taken of the completed job to have on file. It was explained to me that the pictures of the deck would assist the next technician to plan for the deck to be stained. When it was time for the deck to be stained, the technician arrived stating the job was not scheduled properly, the previous quote was incorrect and the job couldn't be completed on that day. After requesting time off from work, weeks in advance all I could do was approve the work for the time allotted. That resulted in 1/3 of the job (exterior deck) completed at the top of the price range. There seems to be a lack of communication amongst the team at Mr. Handyman, which leads to poor customer service. Now due to AI, it's very challenging trying to speak to a human to remedy the situation. Unfortunately, I'm looking into another company who has provided Great customer service consistently.

He also caulked around the front door. He saw that the door was coming away from the previous caulking so on his own initiative, he removed the screws and put in longer ones. The wood was flesh with the door and then he caulked it properly. I appreciate his hard work in going above and beyond. I would use his services in the future.

However, nothing worked so he came the next day and brought a new hydraulic brake for the storm door. Chris tried hard to not have to replace the existing brake, but in the end, it had to be replaced. I can't say enough good things about Chris. He genuinely wants to help you without having you spend a lot of money. I really appreciate that. It's rare to find someone who would rather help you for free over the phone than to have you spend money if possible. That speaks volumes about Chris. He is very knowledgeable about the structure of your home being a contractor. He is highly skilled, very friendly and very reasonable.
