But the staff was so nice and greeted me immediately. They gave me my drink cups, and by the time I got my drink and sat to wait on my order, it was ready. I had 10 pc garlic parmesan wings and hot honey wings with fries. I also got a side of Cajun corn. My mom loves their chicken fingers, so I picked her up some. Everything was cooked to perfection. They also fried my wings hard, which I requested. Everything was still hot by the time I made it home, and the food tasted fresh. I'm usually not a huge fan of fries, but they cooked them perfectly. The location was clean, there was ample parking, and the staff was friendly. I will definitely visit again.

It was the same or a little less in price compared to my favorite spot. I ordered online and arrived, sat in the car for additional minutes and then went into the restaurant. I try to be considerate and respect pick up times because businesses can be behind and really need patrons to stick to the time frame. Well I went on in and glad I did because my order did not go across until someone checked it which meant I had to wait additional minutes. I reached out to the service, not to complain but give them a heads up. They responded immediately, which I appreciated. I ordered the Catfish Combo (fried hard), bone in wings (soul sauce flavored and only one flat, should have taken a chance and asked for majority flats) and it included a side and beverage. I decided on fries and a 20oz Pepsi. There was bread and hushpuppies. Everything came out hot. I arrived home and realized it was enough for two meals. The fish was seasoned and they hit it with right amount of grease for the crispiness. Although a little on edge about the ordering process. I know it happens but glad I was able to communicate it and receive a pleasant response. I really enjoyed my meal. I will continue to order from my fave place but will definitely keep Soul Spot in rotation. Oh, I've been here before but first time ordering the fish.

Let me start off by saying a learned a valuable lesson, i ordered online and paid with Apple Pay through door dash because that is what is connected to their online system. Don't be like me! If you are gonna order online and that venue uses door dash, make sure you have the app because it was awkward has hell trying to show them my Apple receipt that just shows that I paid DoorDash and not that I ordered from them. If I had a downloaded, it would've shown that I got food from them. Luckily enough, after some confusion, the staff worked with me and just asked for my name and gave me my order. OK now the food . I ordered a Chicken Philly Cheesesteak and 6 wing combo. I chose lemon pepper as my flavor of choice. I wanted to order 10 wings with two flavors, but that wasn't an option, not on the online menu at least. So I figure I'd try to different things. It was late and I was starving so unfortunately, I scarfed it down, was sitting in the parking lot of Walmart and forgot to take any pictures of the food. The Philly cheesesteak was good flavorful & cheesy like it should be. The bread held strong for the 15 minutes I took to get to Walmart. The fries that came with it were fat crinkle cut style and a little bit on the soft side, but still good. Not the best but good. The six wings were in a separate container (I chose naked and not breaded), a little on the smaller side, but instead of six they gave me seven, which is great. The lemon pepper had some good flavor, but I would suggest getting it out of the container as soon as possible because there was a quite a bit of oil on the wings and the longer it sits the more oil that gathers at the bottom of the container. It would be really nice though if the combos above 10 wings gave you an option for more than one flavor like a lot of wing restaurants do. However, I think it's a great place for a late night dinner or even some wings to snack on.

It was both pleasant and very surprising to get shrimp cooked properly as most people seriously overcook shrimp. The fries were well seasoned and perfectly cooked as well. We both got chicken sandwiches that were average size of a cfa sandwich. We've eaten here a dozen times in the past and the chicken in the sandwich was so massive you couldn't eat it all in one sitting. This was very disappointing neither of us had eaten today, our appetites were raging. It's not a bad sandwich. BUT for the price we pay, over cfa, we expect to get a more interesting, and a much larger sandwich. If yall have intentionally lowered the minimum size spec for a filet to be used on a sandwich, I strongly recommend reversing that decision because the oversized sandwich was a huge selling point. Aside from the smaller sandwich, all was well. The food was delicious, the girl behind the counter that took my order was patient and very thorough and professional, the restaurant was clean, there was a wait, there's always a wait, but we don't mind waiting for fresh food.
