The bread put on the table tasted good enough but was cold and also probalbly days old. Instead of olive oil like most italian the give you the little butter packets like you see at Waffle House. It's very possible that Sal's, while clearly terrible at Caeser salads, may be good at other dishes. I'll never know.

The windows are dirty and cracked, and the once endearing collectibles and memorabilia have grown cluttered. But the good bones and great people are still here, and so is the excellent food. The portion sizes are still huge, and the food is delicious. Fettuccini modo mia is my favorite.
