Solid pizza spot with friendly staff & great local pizza. The place seemed popular with regular DoorDash orders coming in, the spot was a little dirty when I went but to be fair there were only 2 people working at the time. I got the Supreme Pizza which honestly just good pizza. The garlic bread however was marketed as "garlic bread" but it really was just plain ol bread, tasted good though paired with the marinara sauce. If I'm back in the area again & in the mood for pizza, I'll make sure to stop by! read more

We chose Milano's while we were in town looking at houses -- it was close by and looked promising. When we walked in, the place was almost empty except for one family, but it was clean, spacious, and well kept. We browsed the menu at the counter, and the owner greeted us right away and took our order. Prices felt a little on the high side, but we chalked it up to traveling. My wife ordered a DIY salad, but there was hardly any lettuce available, so we swapped it for spinach instead. All the ingredients looked fresh and tasted great. Our cheese sticks and marinara came out first. They looked good, but once we bit into them, they seemed a bit old -- no cheese pull, chunky texture, and tasted like they'd been in the freezer for a while. Soon after, our pizza and pasta arrived. The pizza had plenty of veggies (which I like), though it was a little light on cheese and sauce. Still, the flavor was good. The pasta was tasty but a bit watery, though it did come with about eight shrimp, which definitely made my wife happy. We ate until we were stuffed, and the owner even brought out to-go containers for us. Overall, a good spot for pizza and pasta. If we're ever in the area again, we'd go back! We ended up eating the rest of the pizza and pasta later that night at the hotel! read more

We were traveling through and staying at the Best Western and had already ordered Pizza Hut when the lady at the front desk told me Milano's delivers. My order was gonna be 45 min from Pizza Hit so I called And canceled And ordered the supreme from here. It was delivered within 20 minutes. Best pizza ever. However I wasn't happy there was a $7.50 delivery charge and then he asked of I wanted to tip.... I topped $5 on top of that and when the biker looking lady delivered she waited like she wanted a tip??? Not sure if she got the one we put on the card... read more

I was in the Carthage area and was hungry. So I decided to give Milano's Pizza a shot and boy I'm glad I did. Picked up a Supreme Pizza and Wings. My only complaint is more of a me thing than them. As I should have ask for no tomatoes. Other than that, the food was delicious. Looking forward to my next visit. read more

Dining room appeared dirty, chairs/benches had large holes. Bathroom wasn't kept up with TP and paper towels. The front man was on the phone the entire time he asked what we wanted and when we paid. The pizza buffet was sad, it was lunch time and the pizzas were few and far between. And not particularly good. I will go hungry before I return read more

This had to be the worst pizza and chef salad in the history of man . If you don't know the ingredients don't bother . It was lettuce, pepperoni and some sort of ham loaf topped with shredded Mozzarella . Dominos is 5 star compared to this place. Clean up once in a while also . I know it's hard to find the labor but you chose to be in this business. Clean a table once in a while. read more

The food was delicious and the server/chef was very friendly. We were just passing through but if we ever make it this way again we will definitely go back! read more

His pizza is delicious. It's fresh and hot. Doesn't taste like anything else. He knows you by name. The prices are higher but's that's everywhere right now, due to inflation. There's no pizza like Milano's. We eat here every week. Yum!! read more

Placed a pick up order the other day for my first experience. Bought a large pizza and salad, wasn't expecting the total! I understand things have increased in price with the economy, but some of this is getting excessive! The food tasted ok, nothing great, nothing bad. Not worth it for the price. Sorry. We heard great things about it. read more

The best pizza I've ever had!!!!! If you are reading this pls try the chicken Alfredo pizza..... its to die forrrrrrrr

The Chicken cacciatore was delicious but the Grilled chicken penne Milano is AMAZING. My mom is Italian and even she would've been proud of this dish. The owner/manager was awesome. Took excellent care of myself and my husband tonight. I also had the bruschetta and it was great. Love the pesto in it! And the bread was crispy and delicious as well. We are traveling but if we are ever back in the area, we will come back! read more

Food is SO yummy, I love the cuisine and the consistency of quality. Both the food and the people. Love dining in and calling in for take out. My family has always been please with our food and our service. Also, it is very nice to know that if a mistake is made with your order- they are happy to make it right immediately and will go out of their way to make sure you are pleased. Great find in such a small town! read more

The pizza was excellent and the salad bar had a lot of options. The only thing was that pretty much every table was dirty & the booths needed some TLC. Otherwise, good place to go! read more

When I got a pizza to go I took it home and ate 3 pieces. I got food poisoning. Diarrhea real bad. This was about 2 years ago just when the Covid epidemic was over and the person who waited on me did not wash his hands after checking out a customer at the register and fixed my pizza. I realized this afterwards. I have never been back read more

The pizza was passable but nothing special. The price tag at lunch was the highlight. The manager was the only one working and disappeared for the entirety of our stay after he took our payment. No refills available unless we wanted to go back to the kitchen and get a tea pitcher. Now we joke about how bad this place was when we come to town. read more

Best salad hands down. Very friendly staff. Always enjoy eating here and it is a hit with the kids.

The pizza I ordered was really good. The Caesar salad was just fine. I'll probably go with the Italian salad next time as I've heard good things about it. I had my food delivered to the Best Western. The pizza wasn't piping hot but just warm enough. read more

Used to love this place, but the owner has been rude the last two times I was there. Will not be going back.

Best pizza in town and good quality service clean restaurant price are good for the quality of the food. I highly recommended Milano pizza

Amazing food. Great flavor, friendly people! The exterior may look a bit dated but the food is outstanding. A must try if you are in town

Just passing through and found this place on my map. I was a little worried seeing the outside of the place was a bit run down, and it could use some updating on the inside, but the food was really great! The all-meat sandwich was really good. The bread alone was great! Everything tasted fresh, and the service was friendly. I'll be back on my return trip home. read more

Went between dinner and supper so it was empty. Worried me a bit but once the pizza was in my possession all doubts were squashed. Damn fine pizza. With the limited options in Carthage they'll be getting all my business whenever work brings me to town. read more

Always large quantities of food!!!! You order for two and can eat for 4!!! Lasagna and Alfredo are amazing!!!!

We are passing through Carthage, and ordered takeout from Milano's mostly by chance. They delivered (on time) right to our hotel room, and the meal was terrific. We've spent time in Italy and have some Italian blood, so we're not neophytes. This stuff was really good! The lasagna, bruschetta, Italian salad, and great crusty bread were delicious and far more than we could eat. This was an unexpected delight on our trip, but when the opportunity presents itself we will surely return. read more

I was initially excited to try out Milano's Pizza. Seeing a wide variety of options from their menu - wings, pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, etc., I was looking forward to trying their homemade food. I was particularly in the mood for a pizza that night, so I called ahead and ordered carry out for one large 2 topping pizza (sausage and mushrooms) since there was a coupon on their website for only $10.99. However, when I called, I was misinformed and was told that they actually raised their prices to $11.99. Okay, only 1 more dollar AND it's homemade, should taste pretty good. I went along and placed the order. When I arrived at Milano's, I saw that it was most likely a family run business since there were 2 people working in the kitchen, and 1 person at the cashier. There were 3 other customers there and they were already eating, and I was waiting in front of the cashier box waiting to pay for my togo order. The owner, who was in front at the cashier box, was too busy and I had to wait a good 10 minutes before he asked me if I was there to dine in or carry out. While I was waiting for my pizza, I was able to see the open kitchen area and how they made their fresh, homemade pizza. And it was disturbing. I saw the owner, who was handling cash when I got there, pick up cheese to put on a pizza before he put it in the oven. He also just wiped his on a towel that looks like would be used to clean up a table or countertop before he went back to handling cash. And then moments later, he went back to pick up more cheese. That is not safe nor sanitary. This all happened within a 10 minute time frame. The pizza itself tasted below average assuming average is your typical Domino's or Pizza Hut. The toppings tasted just fine, but the crust was too much and too doughy. Overall, I would not recommend Milano's Pizza to anyone because of the way I saw them make the food and having unsanitary practices. I understand that for that particular night, there were only 3 people running the restaurant. But there should be no shortcuts when preparing food. Just simply washing your hands with soap for 20 seconds can prevent the spread of bad germs and bacteria. read more

We have eaten here quite a few times and have yet to be extremely disappointed. We usually go on Sundays after church and get the pizza and salad buffet. Which is always good. The desserts are okay. I have ordered the lasagna in the past the taste was excellent but the sauce was a little to runny for my liking. We have also ordered the sandwiches, they are very delicious! To sum it up.... I don't think you will be disappointed with anything here! read more

I am having trouble rating this restaurant. It's Saturday night and there are very few customers. The food is superior, large portions at a reasonable price. However, the reason for the lack of customers---a 50 minute wait for food. That is almost unacceptable for items that were not pizza. If there had been a large crowd and we had ordered several pizzas, the slowness might have been understandable, but for just salads and pasta dishes the wait was inexcusable. Go for the delicious food if you have lots of time to spend. read more
