I was browsing for locally owned pizza place options in New Albany and saw this place pop up. I phoned in an order and first time line was busy, 2nd time I got through. Ordering went ok, not great. It would be half hour before food was ready. I arrived literally on time however, never being here before I didn't know what to expect. It's a small building and it does look pretty old, it has been around 60 years and is an Indiana staple. The parking lot is pretty small as well with additional parking in the back. I go inside and there is a line of people waiting. It didn't take me long to be waited on though. It was around $21 and some change for pizza and breadsticks. Pretty reasonable if you ask me honestly. I got a 14 inch pepperoni and breadsticks. I was supposed to get marinara sauce but got cheese sauce instead. Now the pizza, I like that the pepperoni is shredded instead of round, Pizza King is the only other place I know that does their pepperoni like this. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious and the breadsticks did pair well with the cheese sauce. I would like to try their other foods as well. Reason for 3 stars, location is small and dated but, I'm very into nostalgia. Parking can also be scarce. Inside seemed small and not much room for dining in, I ate some of the pizza in my vehicle. I give 4 stars to the pizza and breadsticks. I would return here.

We ordered a large regular crust pizza with mozzarella, pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeños, & bacon,…read moreas well as two chicken Caesar salads. They didn't have any Caesar salads ready to go so the guy made ours fresh. The salads were way better than I was expecting. The lettuce was fresh and it was loaded with cheese and chicken. They gave us more than enough dressing and croutons - which was definitely appreciated. The guy who put our pizza together made sure to get cheese + toppings spread across the whole pizza. The only issue we had with our pizza was how oily it was but that was only because of the toppings we chose. We baked the pizza per the instructions, cut it up, and then put it on the pizza pan to crisp it up a little. It was good to go after that! We will definitely be back

So, I was thrilled to discover this Papa Murphy's location not far from my house. No more 1 hour+ wait time for delivery. Just 15 - 35 minutes (depending on what style you get) in your oven and you have fresh, hot pizza that has never sat in a hot bag. No more missing pieces of your order. Unless you are like me and realize about half way home that you should have purchased a soda because you forgot you drank your last one. At first glance, the prices might seem a little high when compared to the big boys' specials. But, by the time you tack on the delivery fee and a tip for the driver, you will end up paying the same (or more!) for food that could be great or could be sub par. I prefer my gambling elsewhere. I usually order and pay through the app right before I leave work, so my pizza is ready and waiting on me when I arrive. Stopping may add a few minutes more to my work to home time, but it's so worth it knowing that I am in control of my dinner.

They're well known for their huge pizza slices, and growing up in Louisville, I've been here plenty of times. This visit, though, felt a little different from what I remember. The place itself still has a unique vibe. It's clean, has its own personality, and even features a walk-in freezer you can check out along with a bar, which makes the experience stand out from your typical pizza spot. We ordered the Korean chicken pizza and the buffalo pizza. Overall, the pizza was good. The Korean chicken tasted exactly like you'd expect sweet and savory and the buffalo had that classic buffalo flavor. They did add some spicy chips on top of the buffalo slice, which I personally didn't like, but it didn't completely take away from the pizza. The slices are very thin, which is their style, but I do feel like it could be a little more filling for the price. Speaking of price, it was definitely more expensive than I remember. I don't recall ever paying over $10 for a slice before, but that could just be inflation catching up. It was late when we went and the place was busy, which might explain it, but the staff wasn't as friendly as I've experienced in the past. The overall vibe kind of leaned more toward a late night, drunk pizza spot, which was a bit disappointing compared to how I remembered it. Overall, I'd give this location a 3 out of 5. Still a solid spot for late night food, but it didn't quite hit the same as it used to for me.
