From the moment I walked in for lunch at the McKinleyville Round Table I couldn't believe my bad luck. The place was packed and there was a yuge line. As I stood there grinding my teeth, sorry that I was ever born, the casheer with cute Princess Leia looking mini buns (Rebecca) made eye contact and smiled real big with EVERYONE in line, big or small, one at a time starting from her end and working her way to my end and everyone in between while waiting to be paid. She was so happy that she would even seem to dance in place a little while spreading her own brand of sarotonin. Turns out smiles are contagious and I forgot, just for a split second, how much it sucks to wait on line, packed like sardines in oil. And that ain't even the first time something really nice happened here: Last time I was here, manager Joseph Reeves hosted us and personally saw to it that my family and friends had perhaps the best birthday party ever. No lie. Everyone still talks about it. Thank you for the memories. We politely countered, gesturing to the dog and explaining that as a service dog, she was legally allowed inside, to which the woman again stated that the dog would have to remain outside. On a hook... We chose rather than continue to waste time trying to get a seat or even place an order, to simply leave. We would spend our money elsewhere.
