First, an aside. We were trying to get to the restaurant exiting I-20 from Atlanta. To make it easy on future visitor for navigation, if you are heading south on Thornton Road towards I-20, the Olive Tree is between the McDonald's and some seafood place with a large sign called Cod Tail. After you pass the McDonald's you can turn in and access the plaza where Olive Tree is located. It was NOT easy. Parking is in a shared lot for the plaza out front and was adequate. Once we actually made it inside, things were great. This restaurant reminds me a lot of Provino's, a small chain of Italian places around the north side of Atlanta. The Olive Tree is like Provino's half-Greek cousin. Some of the dishes are similar, the background music is similar, etc. The menu is split fairly evenly between Italian and Greek dishes. We ordered one each (lasagna and ghanoush). Both were good. We also split a salad. They also had a dessert case as you enter, though we did not indulge in one. They also have a full bar (which we didn't try). Prices were reasonable. If we lived closer, I could see becoming a semi-regular here. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth checking out.
