Which I thought was dumb. A tire is a tire. So I drove half an hour to West Newton Bikes. The bike tech, Jerico, could not have been nicer or more efficient. He fixed the flat, remounted the tire, fixed some other little issues I had and I was back on the trail in less than an hour. All for a lot less money than I would have paid at the other place. It's a bit of a drive, but I'll be using them for all my biking needs from here on out.

The woman at the counter suggested we go left on the trail, that way we enjoy the tunnel plus the coast downhill on the return trip. It was a great tip, and I believe I rode an entire mile coming back without using the pedals. There's a repair shop there, as well as a wonderful place to buy ice cream and BBQ. The trail itself is quite scenic, and there's a mix of runners, bikers and walkers. It's an enjoyable outing. If you are tall like me, they may not have a good fit for your rental. The attitude is "one size fits all, we can adjust the seat.". That works to an extent, but I would have enjoyed a larger frame.

Once you download the app and choose a plan, you're able to scan the bikes QR code at the dock and it's ready for use! If you receive governmental assistance you they have a yearly plan for $10. They have great customer service as well! I thought I docked my bike and realized after a few hours that it never officially docked. I received and invoice and quickly called customer service. They were able to troubleshoot the incident swiftly and ease. With that being said, when you're using a bike, make sure to give it a good forceful push when docking to ensure this doesn't happen to you. Oh, one last thing. They now have electric bikes that help climb the city's hills with ease!

The suites are housed in a turn of the century victorian house converted into apartments and conveniently located off bus lines to Downtown. The best thing is supermarkets and bars are nearby, all which Robert gives you maps and descriptions of. Got Laundry? no problem, the suites have their own laundry room and each room has an ironing board, laundry basket, and iron. It's home away from home.
