The bikes and child trailer we rented were fantastic!

Confluence Cyclery is amazing! Our family has used it twice, as it rents excellent bikes and child trailers in a very convenient location. Access to the Great Allegheny Passage is easy from the shop, and parking has always easy as well. Both times we've use them we've worked with Scott, who wad incredibly helpful and did a great job calibrating our bikes to fit us. Finally, Confluence is a great location, as the GAP trail is quite scenic in both directions from town. Confluence Cyclery is a family favorite!

If I could give them 10 stars I would. Had a rough day on the trail Saturday with a lot of mechanical issues and was pleasantly surprised to find this place open on a Sunday morning. Scott went above and beyond to help with issues I was having with my bike and was pretty patient with me when I bought it back a second time before hitting the trail. He gamely got on my bike and rode it around to see if he could isolate the issues. He even offered to call other bike shops along my path to see if they would be open for me to check in if the problem persisted. He said that if we couldn't find an open bike shop, call him and he would figure something out. Bike road great. Not sure there are many people that offer this kind of service any longer. If I were you, I would send some business their way. They deserve it!

Owner doing some major repairs and I didn't have an appointment. He replaced cassette and chain and serviced the front hub.

I ride the GAP and C & O Canals trails very year for past 6 years including this one. I've had a number of mechanics troubleshoot various issues but Brad really took care of me today: new cassette and replaced a very worn out chain as well as servicing the front hub which had never previously been serviced and was somehow missing a bearing.

This bicycle shop is one of the true gems of Confluence. Located in a quaint old building filled with bikes, apparel, and accessories. The service is second to none! The staff are extremely knowledgeable on all types of bicycle designs as well as the many bike trails and routes in the area. They are able to complete repairs quickly at a very reasonable price. They also have a large selection of bicycles for sale or to rent, and make sure each bike is a perfect fit for the size of the rider. I have had nothing but extremely positive experiences with this business.

My girlfriend and I rented a pair of bikes here for a weekend of riding the Allegheny Passage trails. The bikes were in great shape, and $25 a day also got us helmets and plenty of recommendations about where to eat, how late the grocery stores were open, and anything else about the region we could think of. It's 100 scenic meters from the bike trail. Reservations were probably not necessary, but they do take them. They also can help you arrange to get picked up by a shuttle down the trail if you don't want ride out & back.

Wonderful people, wonderful place. Great tools and very knowledgeable. Love going there.

What a cute little bike shop! The only one in town, run by a very friendly retired couple. Stop by when you're biking through Confluence (11 miles from Ohiopyle by bike) to fill your water bottle, shop, and get some air in your tires. They also have restrooms.

We found one at half the price of one I saw in Ohiopyle and Brad installed it on my bike in no time.

Cumberland Trail Connection - The Train! The Train!

The views are spectacular, rolling hills and so many colors of green and blue were breathtaking. Mile 9 was NOT our favorite mile. There is trail maintenance happening and that's a GOOD thing, but...the gravel is thick in many areas so riding the bike was sketchy at best. Thankfully it wasn't much more than that mile. I loved the train track right next to the trail and my prayers were answered when, lo and behold, a train appeared! It was stopped so as to clear a fallen tree but once removed (minutes) they were on their way. The train was filled with people who were happy to see bikers on the trail as we were happy to see, and wave at them. Great trail.

The Owner Hutch, A.K.A. "Jesus" (its the hair) is an absolute hoot, and a great business owner. He said come on over, stayed open past time on Thursday 2 SEP to help two random out of town bicyclists. He not only helped but let me in the sacred space in the shop and showed me how to deal with the wheel on my Cannondale Topstone...I was afraid of the disc brakes [had tube, levers and pump], but had not practised removing a wheel or bothered to watch a YouTube video. I had spent 32 glorious miles on the GAP with my wonderful spouse...last 2 walked in cleats! Painful lesson on preparing ahead of time...so embarressed and me a boy scout and Army Vet. Thank you Hutch for your service in our brother USAF! Blessings always. I am sure this would be our go-to place if we lived anywhere within an hour...would be totally worth the drive.
