I like the staff, the daycare is very informative and organized. They do fun activities in the summer, they plan fun events around the holidays. My kids are always happy to go. Which gives me great joy that I'm sending them to a trustworthy daycare. Everyone there is more like family. read more

My three kids went to this center for over 5 years. They have been there since my youngest was a newborn. Everyone here has always been so amazing to myself and my children. I'm a single mother so having a place like this where I know I can always count on everyone there to take great care of my kids and help me raise them, is God sent! I LOVE them here, I genuinely could not have asked for a better village for my children to have. Not only do they support them by caring for them but they have taught them so much emotional and mental awareness, that they now use everyday. They have programs that help support my kids development and all three of my kiddos adore everyone there ! They make me feel so comfortable leaving my kids with them all day while I work and I know I can call and check in on them anytime I feel necessary. I highly recommend them. read more

Follow up! We've now had kiddo at Little Boots for 3 years. There's been some posts about some stuff going around like H, F, and M and flu and all that. I have to wonder - where do you take your children that these things don't happen? Hand, Foot, and Mouth is contagious before symptoms have started - which means once one kid has it, it's likely others will get it. We've had a bump or two, esp with one teacher in particular. I haven't been a fan of her, but I doubt that I'll ever be a fan of every single teacher my kiddo has. Additionally, there's always been an assistant in the room that my child loves, so it works out. I won't argue the posts that mention that the staff don't always greet you or say hi, etc, but it's early in the morning, we all need coffee, and most parents who are coming in and out of the building are more focused on their children than anything. But one things I do love - they always greet kiddo! I'm just the parent. My child is their priority and I'm a-ok with that. Whatever surface issues have gone on, they've kept the standards required to meet the proper star ratings. Communication hasn't always been outstanding, but that's an issue with an individual teacher, not the center itself. Mona has ALWAYS responded quickly and courteously. She's one person and can't be aware of what's happening in every room at all times, and if she's not told, then she can't fix it.She's always been 100% supportive of whatever has popped up and taken care of it. They've had some growing pains but the dust has settled and we're still happy! read more

Not for people of color. I came to tour this daycare a few weeks ago. The daycare is adorable, it had good ratings online, and the location would make my drive to work much shorter. As soon as I entered the facility a woman stared at me and then asked me what I wanted, when I said I made an appointment for a tour the director came out of her office and was very kind. She told me it was picture day so I assumed the woman that was rude was there taking pictures and didn't actually work there. As my tour continued, I felt very uncomfortable as I walked around. I was stared at intensely and not greeting by a single teacher. This was my third daycare tour and that had never happened. It became very clear, that people that look like me and my son are not well received at that location. When we went to tour the room my son would be in, the woman at the door was there and I was told she was the teacher. The teachers in his did not greet me or introduce themselves. As an educator and someone who worked in daycares all throughout college I know this behavior was very unprofessional and out of the norm for a daycare center. If you're a non person of color this daycare will probably be a great fit but if you or your children are POC I recommend you find a different place. read more

My son loves coming here. All of the teachers adore him and have been really understanding of his separation anxiety in the mornings. I truly believe he is learning so much and that his exposure to other children will benefit him once he starts elementary school. I like that I can get ahold of Mona whenever I need to and really appreciate the accommodations she has made for my family. In regards to the other post about the illnesses at the center.... kids are gross, kids get sick, it happens. It happens with my 4th grader and my 7th grader because....... kids are gross lol. I've never had any issues communicating with the staff. There have been instances where my child was bitten but guess what, they are toddlers and it happens, I wasn't upset and the staff took the appropriate action. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would... my husband and I were fairly new to the area when we found Little Boots. It was our first time putting our son in daycare (he is 1) at first I was a little hesitant and I wish I would've trusted my gut. From when we first did the tour, the staff seemed a little rude but I didn't think much of it. My son was at this daycare for a total of 3 months and it was terrible. My first biggest issue here was how rude the staff can be. In my opinion, they don't really care to say hi or even smile or be polite until you have an issue with them. Then, I feel is that they will go out of their way to be extra nice. After a couple of weeks of my son attending he was always coming home dirty. Dirty hands, dry booger's! No one could take the time to clean him up, ever. Then within the first week of him being here there was an outbreak of hands, foot, & mouth! It was terrible. All they had was a sign in the front but none of the teachers seemed to care. My son ended up missing a couple of days because he obviously got sick from this. And let me tell you, we would always pay at the beginning of the week. My son got sick at the daycare and they were not wanting to roll over the days I paid for for the following week. When it's the daycares fault that he got sick. I called serval times and spoke to Tiffany and her response was that it was in the contract that they were unable to do that. I looked through my contract and no where did it say that. Tiffany told me she'd call me back and she'd find "something similar that said that" these ppl are very unorganized and will try to scam you out of your money. They charge you for holidays even when your kids will not be attending daycare! Ridiculous. My son was in between classes all the time. No one ever knew what class he was in when it was time to pick him up. When I'd drop him off he'd be with a different teacher. The one good thing I could say about this place is that Mindy the "12-24" months teacher is amazing. She is the only one I felt comfortable with and also Teresa. Mindy is a genuine good hearted person and I could tell she really cared about my son. However SHANITA the 24-36 months teacher was the worst. She is a huge part of why i took my son out of there. I don't know if she is really stupid or she just acts dumb and treats kids unfair because she simply does not care. Parents do not trust her with your kids! The day before thanksgiving I went to pick up my son and she was with all the smaller kiddos and there were quite a few kids with runny noses and she was just sitting there passing out cookies in a rude manner. There was a small little girl who was spilling crumbs and shanita was mad and told her why are you making such a mess. She didn't see that I was standing at the window and I could see. Idc if it's the end of the day or if she's tired you are suppose to be patient and loving with these kids! Also, there was one time I picked up my son from her and when I got there his pants were wet. I asked her why, and her response was that he woke up like that about an hour ago. I said umm well you know that he has extra clothes her. And she said well do you want me to change him? I was just shocked and disgusted with her. How is she even still here? I was told by certain staff that there are many complaints about her. This is not all, towards the last month that my son was here there was an incident where he fell and bit his lip. When I saw him at the end of the day his lip was bruised and extremely swollen. As a parent you automatically assume the worst and all I got was a little incident report. This happened at 10am and nobody thought to call My husband or myself. All I kept thinking was what if he would've needed stitches because the severity of his cut was bad! That's when I finally called Mona and was ready to pull him out. She wanted me to give them another chance and admitted to it being a mistake that they didn't call and should have. There are many things I didn't like about this place and I regret ever leaving my son here. I would much rather be a stay at home mom and sacrifice a little bit more then leave my son here. He will be 2 soon and Shanita was suppose to be his new teacher. I was never going to let that happen. Parents do not trust this woman. This entire daycare center is very unorganized and the staff does not care about anything besides their $. The only ppl that are great here are Mindy and Teresa. If Mindy had her own daycare I'd go to her. Other than that, take your business elsewhere! read more

Little Boots is a terrible Daycare facility. The owner and the director are rude. They don't even greet you when you walk in. My child started in the infant room and it was fine. Then when she moved up to toddler it was totally different. The teachers never seemed to care about my child. Every time I picked her up all I could hear was her screaming down the hall and no one was ever did anything about it. I worked in daycare for years and have never seen any place as bad as this one. Amir, the one male staff member should be running the place. He was the only positive out of the whole center. Shame on you Little Boots. read more

Little Boots Early early learning center is one of the most unprofessional daycare providers I have come across. The owner Mona text her concerns rather than talk to parents face to face like adults. Melissa the director is just the same. I had to be notified by a teacher that my child was sick because none of the front desk wanted to give me a call. I had an incidence with their teacher Ivy putting tape on my child to secure his pull up but ignored the fact that the tape was connected to his leg. The owner Mona of course excused the teachers behavior and sees no violation, never mind the fact that i had to rip tape off of my child's thigh. There is constantly something going around the daycare whether it be pink eye, lice, or HAND FOOT AND MOUTH. The owner and director will never speak with you directly about any incident involving your kids. I definitely would not recommend taking your child to Little Boots. read more

We started our son at Little Boots a few weeks ago and we couldn't be happier with the child care we receive from the center. The staff is amazing. They always look out for you little one and communicate anything that has gone on throughout the day. My son is a picky eater but since he started here he is getting better and better with eating. They also try and tailor their program for each child. My son is hard of hearing and it's so awesome the teachers work with him on his sign language and communication skills. read more
