As a working parent, it hasn't always been easy to balance my career with the desire to be present for every moment of my daughter's early years. That said, I feel so incredibly blessed knowing that while I'm away, my daughter is in the hands of people who truly love and nurture her. The teachers at A Child's Touch have played such a vital role in her development--they've been like a second family, helping raise her with patience, warmth, and care. While my daughter is naturally a happy girl, I know that her daily happiness is in no small part thanks to the incredible environment created at the school. She starts her day excited and comes home just as cheerful. It amazes me to see how much she has learned--counting to ten, reciting the alphabet, singing tons of full songs--and I know these milestones are a direct reflection of the amazing teaching and support she receives from the staff. In addition to all my daughter's teachers, every staff member I have spoken to or worked with has been beyond helpful. ACT has a fantastic group of employees. read more

ACT has given our children so much. I trust the daycare workers entirely with my kids and my kids LOVE them. They feel safe, are happy, and have learned so much. read more

This place has so much potential. For the most part it is staff who really care and they teach the children a lot - program wise it is great. They do charge a lot and close by 5:30pm which is impossible for most working parents. They charge $30 if you arrive at 5:31 so be prepared! Unfortunately there are two staff members who should not teach children who act like they have miserable lives. They were my child's teachers and every single day no smiles, not happy and not communicative to parents. My child loved her first year here, didn't struggle with goodbyes until she moved into this classroom and she would not want me to leave, one of the teachers walked up and grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her to the other side of the classroom telling her it's time to be at school and made her cry even more. If I could have missed work that day I would have. I do not feel children are safe in that classroom. He never once getting down on her level to try to make her feel comfortable or offer any sort of empathy. She told me she was scared to go every day. My last straw was when my child told me that another kid followed them into the bathroom and touched their private parts. They told the teacher and not only did I NOT get a call from the teachers, and NOT get an an incident report, they told me my child made it up. The office staff was absolutely useless, first claiming to "investigate" which just meant I had to follow up with them for any answer. They said it never happened. One of my child's teachers told my child in front of me that they made it up and that never happened. I had to demand my child was switched to another class room. I do not recommend. My child is still upset about getting touched inappropriately and I hate that it was met with absolutely no support. read more

We interviewed several daycare centers before visiting A Child's Touch. They all seemed so bland and boring. Once we walked through the doors of ACT we knew it was different. Derek showed us around and left us very impressed with how the daycare facility is being run. We have been taking our son here for a few months now and absolutely love it. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They send photos and updates throughout the day of what they are up to. We are very happy so far and look forward to the years to come. read more

ACT is the best choice in Colorado. My daughter has spent 3 school years and two summers here. Their learning standards out shine Colorado state standards and have exceeded my expectations. They focus of real hands on learning experience with their many themed playroom/grounds. My strong willed child has always been treated with compassion and love. For them I am thankful. read more

A Childs Touch is like no other school. The facilities are world class, the teachers are full of life and love and our girls have excelled in their care. Best school by far! read more

Our son Zander has been going to A Child's Touch since 2011 when he started at 8 weeks old. Now he attends the School Age Program in the summer. We have been thru every level (infants, toddlers, twos, pre-prime/primary, intermediate, pre-k, kindergarten and school age summer). This is a remarkable facility for children to learn and grow. The teachers are top notch and amazingly talented with the curriculum. What ever level of care you are seeking I highly encourage you check out A Child's Touch. They accept children 6 weeks to 13 years old. read more

A Child's Touch has been the best thing to happen to our family. I wish we would have found this incredible place years ago! Our son began attending in April 2013 and just had his last day before kindergarten. The rates for all age groups are truly unbeatable for the Denver metro area. Our son has never had a bad day at school and has never wanted to stay home since his start with A Child's Touch. The teachers are incredibly warm, intelligent, and responsive to the children's needs and learning styles. The office staff are always very helpful and quick to answer any questions. Our son has learned so much in his time with A Child's Touch and we feel very confident about his readiness for kindergarten. I highly recommend taking a tour of the facility... you won't want to leave and your child will be in awe. We LOVE that the owners have been dedicated to their facility for decades and continue to add wonderful hands-on stations at the school. We highly highly recommend A Child's Touch to ANYONE looking for infant care all the way through school-age care for before/after school and school breaks. We plan to enroll our son in the school-age program during holiday breaks and next summer. We cannot thank everyone at A Child's Touch enough for all that they have done for our family. Your search is truly over... go and enroll your child(ren) today!!! read more

We enrolled our son at ACT in January 2014, shortly after we moved to Colorado, and he graduated from their kindergarten program in May 2016. I cannot say enough good things about this school. First and foremost, the staff is absolutely amazing--everyone from the office staff to the teachers to the cooks obviously care deeply for each and every individual child. The grounds at the school are incredible, and the learning approach of the school is very "hands-on," so there was never a dull minute in the day. My son always had such exciting things to tell me about his day whenever I picked him up; some days he'd complain that I picked him up "too early"! With regards to the kindergarten program, it is above and beyond. My son learned so much. He began 1st grade in public school this August, and he scored beyond expectations in his initial assessment for reading, writing, and math--his teacher has commented on how great his handwriting is, and his reading abilities are already at the point they're expected to be at the *end* of 1st grade. I am so thrilled with how well ACT prepared him for the next level of education. The care, education, love, and friendships that he gained at ACT are beyond compare, and we are so grateful to have found ACT. read more

This preschool started my daughter out so well. She was advanced when starting school. Not only that, her love for you God was fostered here and it really blossomed. I can't recommend this childcare facility more! read more

My Daughter has gone to A Child's Touch since she was a tiny tot. The staff here are outstanding, and truly care about the children. They are not a daycare/school that just show up for a paycheck. Everyday they teach my child something new and fun, that I get to hear about at the end of the day. Where as before in her old daycare we would ask her how her day was, and she would just tell us "fine". She loves her classmates, and every teacher she has had through the years. My sister in law and all of her children went to A Child's Touch when they were little. That shows you how long they have been in business, and the kind of effect the staff have on the families. My Daughter is about to graduate from kindergarten here, and my wife and I are very pleased with the hard work and Christian Values they have instilled in our child. She has grown and matured greatly since she has been here. Also I am in Law Enforcement, and a Former Military Police Officer. If you have ever served or have a family member that did, you will appreciate their service member memorial. I am very happy with the security precautions put in place in this facility. The positive accountability of each child is of the upmost importance to every staff member. They all take the time to learn the children's names even. Staff are the most professional and Kind people I have ever met in the childcare industry. They are one of a kind. Also we checked out so many other child care companies before making this decision, and for information you will not find a better school for the value. Almost every other school is very expensive. A Child's Touch is moderate in price. They outdoor play/learning areas are second to none, and are always being improved. Very impressive! Thank you A Child's Touch for the love and care you have shown my little Girl, You guys are the best! read more

Be very cautious of this school Our daughter was at this school for almost a month. One day I walked in and watched one of the teachers grab the back of her head and push it towards the ground while telling her to pick up her goldfish. My daughter was crying and had boogers all over her face and into her mouth. At the very least should they not be wiping our children's noses?? Assumed because of their "we have cameras everywhere" pitch that we'd be able to see and they'd get this person away from everyone's children. When I talked to the dean the first thing he told me was that if we were uncomfortable at the school he could give us our refund back. Later we find out that the camera is a fish bowl lense and zoomed out very far. After interviewing every teacher in the classroom, the next day, they told us nobody saw any "inappropriate touching" which makes me wonder if the teachers are used to this type of interaction between teacher and student. Once the footage was lightened and they saw her touch my daughters head (the camera was so blurry you couldn't see her move her head) they defended it by saying "we all pat kids on the head." The owner of the school sat and smiled at me while I was crying in their office. He gave us the exact same pitch he gave us during the walk through as if he was selling the school. They kept saying if it was true they'd have to get police involved and how one of the teachers is married to a police officer so they take mandatory reporting seriously. Almost trying to get me to say that it wasn't true or it was fine to drop it. This school only cares about what the children are doing once they get out of the class NOT the way they're being treated. Every day my daughter was there she'd run to me and cry and would not let me put her down until we left. They kept telling me she was adjusting but one week at a different daycare and she was happy and waving and walking me around when I picked her up at the end of the day. Her personality was altering at A Child's Touch and I'm just thankful I walked in when I did to get her out of this NIGHTMARE of a place. She is thriving at her new daycare and happy every single day. Being treated with love and care like the important tiny human being she is. Was not going to post here as I've already reported this school but since we're still on the email for some reason we received an email notifying parents they won't be able to enter the doors I walked through when I saw this incident during the day. This seems shady and gives the teachers more notice parents are coming. Is this to protect the students or the teachers??? Scary scary scary situation and be very cautious of this school and the way your child is reacting towards teachers!! Wondering if they've been around so long because they dismiss each concerned parent and move on to the next kid on the waiting list? Try to novice any cues from your child that something could be wrong and be very wary. I am terrified that the same thing could be happening to other people's children. I watched my daughters personality change at this school and have seen how she's come back to herself at her new daycare and I thank God every single day that I did not keep her in A Child's Touch. read more

My son has been attending A Childs Touch for about 2 months now and is in the infant room. We really love A Childs Touch! You can tell our son loves it because he is excited when he gets home and he is developing/learning a lot there. They take pictures and track things like feedings/diapers and everything which I like. I also love that they take pictures so you can see your baby while at work and what they are doing. They do sensory play with the kids, literacy boards and more which is great for learning. I would recommend others to have their children attend this school if you are looking for a daycare in the area. read more

We recently moved back to Colorado and couldn't be happier with A Child's Touch for our son. The teachers are engaged and great communicators. My son was anxious when touring every other school except ACT. We felt at home walking through the door. My son has grown so much emotionally and academically because of the great teachers and fun structure, not to mention the amazing play area inside and outside. Not every child learns the same so they have taking great though into each area of their learning. If you are thinking it's to far away or I don't know, just know that it's really worth. read more

My son has been here since he was not even 3 yo and is now finishing Kindergarten there. It has changed our lives. He is excelling academically, socially, & spiritually. The staff cares so much & even helped our family during hard times. This place was the single best parenting decision I could have made. The hours allow me to work without worry. He is fed 3-4 times a day. Has amazing outdoor & hands on learning experiences & never wants to leave even after a 10 hr day there. read more

Our kids have been attending A Child's Touch for 3 years. The classrooms get better and better, and the teachers truely care about teaching. It may be a little more expensive than other day care facilities, but it is well worth the cost. Our oldest started 1st grade this year, and entered the public school system on a higher level than the other kids. I would recommend A Child's Touch to any parent looking for a care facility that does more than just baby sit you kids while you are at work. read more

This a great place for kids! My son started there when he was 3 in the Intermediate program and we had him stay through Kindergarten because they do an amazing job getting the kids interested in learning. Now we do summer camp there and he gets to see some old friends and make new ones :) I think the biggest compliment I could give this school is that I trust them; when I drop my son off in the morning I know he will be cared for in a good environment with good people. read more

My daughter has attended A Child's Touch for a year and a half now and we could not be happier with our experience. The teachers are the kindest and most caring staff at a child care that I have experienced in the past 7 years of day care experience. My daughter adores her teacher and loves her friends. The playgrounds on site are amazing, well kept, and spark adventure and imagination in the kids. The bible study lessons are great and are an extension to the values that we teach at home. The food provided is fantastic and has caused my picky child's palate to grow day by day. They supported me through potty training and made the process exponentially quicker. As a working mom it's hard to trust your baby with just anyone, but I am so thankful that we found ACT! read more

My son (now almost 5) has been at A Child's Touch since he was 5 months old. I first fell in love with the school due to their fantastic outside area and the way the school strives to make learning and reading fun. The school has a great way of incorporating so many fun and thoughtful activities to go alongside whatever topic is being taught at the time. We've had some truly wonderful teachers along the way that have helped develop my kiddo into someone who loves to learn. read more

We have two kids at ACT currently and one that attended from age 2-5 (graduated from the kindergarten program there). We have loved ACT from the time that our oldest started there. Their facilities are amazing as well as all the teachers and staff. Our kids love going there and even our oldest has said many times how she misses going to ACT and wishes she could go there for more than just the summer months. My co-worker has a daughter that attended ACT 20+ years ago and she is the one that recommended it to me when we first started looking for daycares. Now her daughter, who is all grown up, sends her son to ACT. I recommend it to anyone that I meet that is looking for quality childcare. It is an amazing school and daycare! read more

This is THE BEST daycare. We saw almost every single daycare in the vicinity and none of them compare to ACT. A Child's Touch has been the school of our choice for both of our children. It's such a relief to know we are taking our children to a safe, happy, fun environment. A Child's Touch is truly a gift to any child and family. The curriculum is phenomenal, facility top notch (must see the grounds) and the teachers have a genuine pure loving commitment to excellence and the children that is extraordinary. Feel free to shop around but guaranteed that nobody holds a candle to the lighthouse that A Child's Touch is. I cannot give enough Thanks to A Child's Touch as it has shaped my amazing son, Noah, in ways that no other school could have... they changed our entire family. It is with complete trust and knowledge that Noah will receive beyond quality care that he has attended since he was just over one- and now finishing the Kindergarten program! There is no question that this is THE BEST place for any child. There are other facilities that are closer to our home but A Child's Touch is beyond worth the drive. Noah always looks forward to going to school and loves learning because they have made it fun. It is our home away from home. Lastly and with great gratitude that I will always have for the owners and staff, that I give my highest recommendation, are there 10 stars?! read more

We absolutely love this school. Our kids have attended A Child's Touch for the past 2 years. We opted to enroll our son in full time kindergarten in lieu of public school plus BASE. It is worth every penny! He absolutely loves school and he is reading 90 page children's books at age 5. The teachers give our daughter so much love EVERY day. She attended from age 2 to 4. Her vocabulary is huge and her fine motor skills improve every week. Everyone at the school is so kind and caring. I can't say enough good things. We drive past Goddard, Primrose, and KinderCare to take our kids to ACT. The 3+ acre facility (specifically the back yard) is like nothing else in Denver. They keep the kids engaged and active all year long. Tuition is competitive, hours are accommodating, and the curriculum is highly effective. More importantly, they teach my kids to be kind, respectful humans! I am so grateful we chose ACT for our kids. read more
