I'm compelled to write a brief recommendation for A Child's Touch, especially the premier Kindergarten program. I pray this endorsement will reward whomever reads it. Allison, now 9, progressed through ACT since an infant. Her crowning time was in kindergarten under Ms Ashriel. She flourished and blossomed and strengthened her spiritual resolve in ways we never could have imagined. Intellectually she almost ran away from us...we weren't prepared for how quickly she'd absorb, devour and advance. It was exciting to see! But even more so was her spiritual growth. Her dinner and bed time prayers became more sincere, more intimate, more confident in ways that could only please our Lord! We and she have dearly cherished that enduring foundation as she moved on to the sterile secular world of the public school system. We faithfully attend our church and do Bible studies at home, but the 8-9 hours of reinforcement outside the home (ACT) really solidified her Christian compass...truly priceless. For what it's worth, when Allison is in the car with me to pick up lil Sis Haley from ACT, she literally begs me to let her come in so she can possibly get to see/talk/interact with Ms Ashriel and reconnect. Their bond, even 4+ years later, is remarkable. So now it's Haley's turn! She is 5 years young with a mid-October birthday. My wife and I were skeptical of pushing her into kindergarten at such an early age: 4 at the time. But if there was any place/staff that would recognize her needs, strengths, attributes, and build her up it was ACT and Ms Ashriel. We made the decision to advance her despite her age....and she has FLOURISHED! She read so early, so eagerly, so voluminously...so proudly! Her intellectual rise has been remarkable...part hunger and part good ACT academic cookin'! I've just been blown away every week this year with her advancement in vocabulary and knowledge of things. To wit, we were coming to a stop at an intersection on the way to school one morning when a Nissan Cube pulled alongside us. "Look Daddy, that's a cubism car!" she exclaimed. They were deep into their art unit at the time and things were definitely clicking! And so it goes, just like her Sister...thriving in the richest environment - both intellectually and Spiritually - we could ever have prayed for. We'll be forever grateful for the early foundation ACT has laid for our girls. Is it cheap? Well no, it was a familiy sacrifice. But isn't that what we're called to do? Pour into them, grow them, influence them, Bless them, invest in the academic and Spiritual bedrock on which they can build an inspired, confident, academically advanced and Christ-centered life. There is no greater Blessing to give them. The value of their Life compass coming out of ACT is truly unequaled and immeasurable. PS: Both girls attended ACT's Summer program last year. When I asked them to sum up their experience last August, both replied in unison "Best Summer Ever!" They are attending this summer as well. I have no doubt I'll hear the same response this August. We were fortunate/lucky/Blessed to have ACT referred to us years ago. It's been the richest part of our girls' lives so far, and I'm happy to speak for the program to any potential parent(s) for years to come...please know that. I have been to 3 other centers in the area NOTHING a compares to this center. I have worked in two other centers and had my child in two others! I could write pages for a review for this center, so keep that in mind when you see my long post. As an employee, the FIRST thing I realized is they GENUINELY care about their employees. The owner is amazing I see him throughout the day working on playgrounds in classrooms and he still will stop smile and ask me by name how I am or how's my day is going. This is 100% not the experience I have had in previous child care preschool centers. The director and all administration are all so helpful and nice. They encourage us teachers and are always there if we need another voice or any help with anything. Another difference I see in this center is the fact that they treat their teachers so amazingly that the teachers LOVE their job. I have not heard one negative thing said by my coworkers about anything. In previous centers there is this chatter among teachers usually innocent where we say "is it time to go home yet" and other things alike and where it may seem small, that y'all isn't here teachers want to be here they want to go to work. Our job is hard, as all of America knows teachers are underpaid, but appreciation and understanding goes a long way and this is what a child touch gives. Now as a parent point,blank, period, i wouldn't put him anywhere else. I know my son is not only fully taken care of and all his needs are met. But I know he has access to outside that he would not anywhere else. He gets to play and interact with nature in a way that he wouldn't in any other center. I know he is learning and growing in so many aspects. He speaks to me about God and teaches me, and that is so powerful to feel and see and hear. He really learns something new everyday and he shares it with me and my husband and all of his grandparents and great grandparents, it is amazing. Another aspect that sets ACT apart from all other centers and I have to point out, is all the places there are for children to be.They also have outdoor cabins that specialize in subjects that are different from his classroom. Like a mock store, an insect museum, a ball pit, a dinosaur interest area, there are so many different places for the children to be and learn from. No class is cooped in their room for any long periods of time. For instance the longest time my class is inside is from nap through snack. They are outside the classroom before nap at 12:00pm and right after snack 2:30pm. From reading reviews and seeing so many people write about this center and all the wonderful things I see make me so proud to be apart of this family. Three years ago, a trusted family friend recommended A Child's Touch to us--and we are forever grateful they did. From the moment we toured the campus, we were blown away. Choosing to enroll our daughters here has been one of the best decisions we've ever made for our family. All three of our girls have grown, learned, and thrived at ACT. The staff is not only highly educated but also incredibly thoughtful and creative in their approach to teaching. The lesson plans are fun, engaging, and designed to help children truly flourish--both academically and personally. One of the standout features of ACT is the incredible campus. With multiple playgrounds and outdoor spaces, our daughters had ample opportunity to play and learn outside. The staff makes a consistent effort to bring lessons outdoors, which our girls absolutely loved. The school also does a fantastic job incorporating the wider community into the learning experience, and their field trips were always something to look forward to. Faith is beautifully woven into the curriculum, and we've seen our daughters grow not only in knowledge but also in their relationship with God. It's been such a blessing to watch their faith develop alongside their education. The teachers at ACT are more than just educators--they have truly become family. They've loved, supported, and cared for our daughters in ways that have exceeded every expectation. Our oldest completed the kindergarten program here and has blossomed into an exceptional reader who is eager to learn every day. If we weren't moving, there is no doubt that our other two daughters would continue on in the kindergarten program as well. Leaving ACT is incredibly bittersweet. This school has been such an important part of our family's life, and it will be deeply missed. We are so thankful for the incredible foundation A Child's Touch has given our daughters--academically, spiritually, and emotionally. We couldn't have asked for a better start for them. read more

My son has been attending A Child's Touch since he was 3. He is in the kindergarten program now and we ALL love this place. He gets amazing care from the teachers. He is getting an EXCELLENT education and is LOVING school and LOVING learning. Everything about this place is wonderful! With our son reaching kindergarten this year, we were torn about moving him to a closer school that is essentially free. Things are a bit tight for us but we decided we can be tight for a short time in order to have the long-term benefits our son would gain. We talked with our son about it and he did NOT want to leave. In order to keep him there for kindergarten, for our work schedule, it meant he'd have to be dropped off super early and we wouldn't be able to pick him up until later than before but our son did not care. He just wanted to stay because he loves the play areas and the kids... the staff.. everything --so much. This was hard for me because I struggled with him being there so long but we thought we'd give it a shot. BOY AM I GLAD we did!!! We discovered our son loves to be the first one at school so he can greet all the other kids as they enter. Not only that, but his class size is smaller than the typical classroom so he is getting so much more direct and individual instruction when it is so VITAL at these young years. He is picking up the learning and reading. His teachers are amazing. We are so grateful we made this investment into our son, his learning, and well-being. He loves this school and even wants to stay another year after kindergarten. Fortunately, we are able to stay for the summer camp, which he is super excited about. A Child's Touch has been a part of my life since I was a child. I actually had the privilege of attending the school myself, thanks to my awesome mother! I am so grateful to have had such a positive experience there. The memories I have from being there are still very vivid in my mind. I always looked forward to going. That being said, when I had my son and became a parent myself, there was never a doubt in my mind about where I wanted to send him. I knew he would have a love for it just like I did. The entire staff is friendly and positive. Every interaction I have with them all is always pleasant. I love that the building is secure and safe. I never worry about my son while he's there. I know he is in the best hands. Their rates are also very affordable considering everything that goes into my child's day. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided as well as a full day of structured, fun activities. He has learned so much including sign language! His level of intelligence truly amazes me and I am so thankful for the amazing teachers who have helped my son's love for learning grow so rapidly! He always comes home in a great mood, ready to tell me all about his day. His genuine love for his friends and teachers are worth every penny. I highly recommend this school to everyone I know. They are one of a kind and you definitely won't regret your decision. We have so much love this school and all of its staff members. I absolutely cannot speak highly enough about this school! My daughter has been attending A Child's Touch since she was 15 months old and just graduated from their Kindergarten program. Although my daughter did not attend ACT as an infant, my nephew did and the infant program is also second to none! The owners of the school opened it 35 years ago and they are still an active part of the school's operation! The owners, teachers and staff absolutely love children and it shows day in and day out. The facilities of this school are like nothing you have seen before at any other child care center - think of the Children's Museum on the school grounds! Every year my daughter is much more advanced than other children her age. She just finished the Kindergarten program and is now reading easily at a 2nd grade level! She is also far above her grade level in math and science. All the teachers she has had are amazing, however, the head Kindergarten, Ms. Ashriel, is one of the most creative, exciting, fun teachers I have ever seen! I don't know how she does it but she makes the children so excited about learning and homework. The love for teaching and caring for children at this school is second to none! We enrolled our son at ACT in January 2014, shortly after we moved to Colorado, and he graduated from their kindergarten program in May 2016. I cannot say enough good things about this school. First and foremost, the staff is absolutely amazing--everyone from the office staff to the teachers to the cooks obviously care deeply for each and every individual child. The grounds at the school are incredible, and the learning approach of the school is very "hands-on," so there was never a dull minute in the day. My son always had such exciting things to tell me about his day whenever I picked him up; some days he'd complain that I picked him up "too early"! With regards to the kindergarten program, it is above and beyond. My son learned so much. He began 1st grade in public school this August, and he scored beyond expectations in his initial assessment for reading, writing, and math--his teacher has commented on how great his handwriting is, and his reading abilities are already at the point they're expected to be at the *end* of 1st grade. I am so thrilled with how well ACT prepared him for the next level of education. I absolutely LOVE A Child's Touch and recommend them to everyone looking for daycare. Both of my kids have gone/go here and I have had nothing but positive experiences all around. I was continue to be impressed with the outdoor playgrounds and learning activities at A Child's Touch, as their outdoor space is like no other, but the indoor play rooms are just as good for when the weather is bad. Even more than the facility, the staff are incredible!!! They truly go above and beyond with everything from teaching to assisting parents with potty training and other problems that come up. They are always there to help with advice. The best part is that my kids have both LOVED going to school there and I know when I drop them off they are in GREAT hands. My daughter has attended A Child's Touch for a year and a half now and we could not be happier with our experience. The teachers are the kindest and most caring staff at a child care that I have experienced in the past 7 years of day care experience. My daughter adores her teacher and loves her friends. The playgrounds on site are amazing, well kept, and spark adventure and imagination in the kids. The bible study lessons are great and are an extension to the values that we teach at home. The food provided is fantastic and has caused my picky child's palate to grow day by day. They supported me through potty training and made the process exponentially quicker. We have two kids at ACT currently and one that attended from age 2-5 (graduated from the kindergarten program there). We have loved ACT from the time that our oldest started there. Their facilities are amazing as well as all the teachers and staff. Our kids love going there and even our oldest has said many times how she misses going to ACT and wishes she could go there for more than just the summer months. My co-worker has a daughter that attended ACT 20+ years ago and she is the one that recommended it to me when we first started looking for daycares. Our daughter has attended ACT for the past three years. It is a fantastic daycare. Go for a tour and check out the amazing playgrounds!!!. I have never worried or had any apprehension about leaving her there. They started her in the potty training room and she was fully potty trained within 2 months. She moved on through 3 other classrooms with super teachers. She just finished preschool and is writing her entire name and beginning to read. Not only has she been well educated, she has learned how to be a good friend. They truly love the kids and it shows. Simply put, there is no comparison to what A Child's Touch (ACT) provides for my two children. The love, support and dedication of the teachers and staff is unparalleled. We recently moved back to Colorado and couldn't be happier with A Child's Touch for our son. The teachers are engaged and great communicators. My son was anxious when touring every other school except ACT. We felt at home walking through the door. My son has grown so much emotionally and academically because of the great teachers and fun structure, not to mention the amazing play area inside and outside. My nephew and my son have been coming to this school since they were 1 year old. My son is currently 5 years old and never complains to me about having to go to school in the morning which is a bonus for any parent. On the other hand he actually gets upset at me when I don't get him there early enough because he loves to play centers. The different themed rooms are great hands on activities for the little ones (reminds me of children's museum in a smaller version) to play and I LOVE how they build their independence. Both of our children have been enrolled at A Child's Touch since they were 3 1/2 and 5 1/2 months old. It is so important to have a place that we are comfortable leaving our children at, and we are so fortunate to have found ACT. Knowing our children are being well cared for and educated allows us to focus on our jobs and not feel guilty for not being at home with them during the day. I was referred to this school by a friend who raved about how great this school was. I went and did a tour and was astonished. I couldn't stop telling everyone how great it seemed. I started my son in Pre-k there part time to ensure he liked it and that I liked it. In less than a month we started him full time. The teachers are amazing and my 5 year old counts up to sixty and is reading to me and spelling. All of which he rapidly learned within the last 4 months. They are loving and caring. My son has been here since he was not even 3 yo and is now finishing Kindergarten there. It has changed our lives. He is excelling academically, socially, & spiritually.
