Victory is a little hidden secret in Westminster. Located in Victory Church, this Montessori school…read moreis perfect for a working family in this area. It is reasonably priced and offers lunch and snacks daily. It is such a lifesaver to not have to pack meals each day. Victory's teachers are great and they are great at listening to the input from the parents. In addition to the daycare aspect, kids can stay at Victory through Kindergarten. We love the balance between the kids learning traditional skills like sounds, alphabet and numbers, but they Also learn manners, values and valuable life skills. There are also opportunities to add on art and computer classes for an additional fee.

Anyways I am giving Victory at Montessori 5 stars because it is the first daycare center where my son wants to go even on the weekends. This is our 4th center, the other places were not active enough and my son was getting into trouble. Victory at Montessori has multiple big rooms for the kids to be active in when the temperature is not good to be outside. Every week they do a bike day, water day and a sports day. My son does have a speech impediment which we are working on. Almost no one outside of the family understands him; however, Miss Jasmine at Victory at Montessori can understand most of what he says and I feel that has gone a long way making him feel comfortable, safe and happy here. I am so thankful for Victory at Montessori.

My daughter flourished under their guidance, developing a genuine love for learning. I have PTSD from the judgement my child received, lack of support, poor communication, and overall unprofessionalism of leadership. The teachers were very kind, but unfortunately, not fully equipped to support a variety of children's needs. My child has thrived since leaving this school and had zero issues with classmates and teachers. I believe if you're child is quite docile and loves to work alone that this could be a fine enough option for you, but if that's not the case, I'd encourage you to look elsewhere. And my best advice is just to talk to a handful of parents at the school. It can seem really nice on the surface, but the best way to know what it's really like is to talk to the community of parents that currently have children enrolled. Many felt the same way, but as you know, it's hard to find good childcare so it was the lesser of the evils for a lot of families. I fully expect the school to try to retaliate this review (as defense was often the communication I was met with for any concerns), but I hope that some of the professionalism has come back to the school and they will just receive the feedback and learn from it.

But the one thing that you can count on at Autana is them addressing and mediating any issues that may be happening. The women are sweet and nurturing. If you are looking for women who really invest in their job this is the school for you.

The staff is very contentious and dedicated to each individual child's development. The Montessori work is age-appropriate, engaging and instructive. I know he's in good hands, well cared for, challenged to be independent and to learn, and is a happy camper when I pick him up.

Also, I have two witnessed instances where my child was jerked/yanked/twisted by his arm by two different primary teachers for minutes at a time, so we quickly felt that we were lucky we departed when we did. When I brought the issue to admin's attention, they seemed appalled and talked of having a "body safety course" offered to their staff. Nothing ever came of it.
