We started our daughter at GHM when she was about 2.5 years old. We've been at the school for about 6 months now and have had an absolutely amazing experience. 1) we love the staff -- both the administrators and the teachers. Ms. Kayla has been particularly amazing. She has been with our daughter in the explorer classroom since we started and has been a true partner to us in our child's development. If we ever are having a challenge at home, we know we can bring it to the teachers at GHM and they'll help reinforce our parenting efforts in the classroom as well. The administrative team is hands on (yay for Jesse, Alyscia, and Jessica!) and so welcoming and kind. I regularly see them in classroom and getting g involved with the kids and as teacher support. Love to see it. 2) GHM strives to foster community amongst parents and families at the school. There are dad's nights, mom's nights, family barbecues and more! I have had the chance to get to know most of the parents of the kids in my daughter's classroom, which is awesome. 3) Parent teacher conferences are regularly scheduled and the staff comes prepared with detailed notes on your child's development and milestones. You can really have a collaborative discussion about your child and their needs! It felt really lovely to hear their perspective because they were so detailed and thoughtful in their assessment. 4) Look, all schools are dealing with staffing shortages, but we have had far less of an issue with this at GHM than we did at our last school. Our daughters teachers have been very consistent and in the event of staff turnover, Jesse, Alyscia and Jessica will do everything in their power to keep the school open - we've never had a school closure due to short staffing -- at our last school this was a regular occurrence. 5) We love that the school takes care of breakfast, lunch and snacks for the kids! Balanced meals, and such a relief to not have to do this at home every night. Helps free up the time we have at home with our daughter for play and connection! Beware. I have complained to the owner, Jesse about the care of my son till I'm blue in the face. The neglect of my son not being given water or having sun block put on him by the director of the center while she was in preschool filling in for the lack of consistent teachers and chaos in preschool as is.. Coming home with his underwear having serious skid marks from the teachers not caring for his proper hygene, to his paints and underwear being backwards and shoes on the wrong feet. When I tried to tell the teacher she raised her voice to talk over me and interrupt me to tell me " Well he did that" before I was able to voice my other concerns, veing please wipe his butt better next time and clothes on properly. I thought teachers are supposed to teach the kids how to do things the right way and stand for GHM own "Morals and standards" what a joke. He hires woman is mini shirts and people who have no experience becaude he is desperate for the fill in. No wonder with the way he treats and represents people internally. It looks sparkly on the outside until you get your child in and your family in then you realize it is nothing but terrible communication, an owner out for money and a director who doesnt support her teachers or get out of her chair. Then I got a phone call, not the decency of a face to face conversation by the owner Jesse being told I screamed in the classroom, an over reaction, he nor his teachers cared to listen to my concerns. This is just one exampke of many. There is a new teacher there every week and they don't last for for then a couple weeks if that. I have called state and jeffco for child neglect a few weeks ago and will do so again. The countless teachers that come through this center is unreal. Eight teachers I counted in April and the list goes on. Your child will not have consistent teachers or care. Preschool is out of control as I have had a sub teacher tell me how the director thinks that yelling and screaming gets 3 years to listen and they feel inadiquite and uncomfortable there because they feel it a lost cause. If you want true care for your child and genuine "Vetran Buisness owners" who care about the true well being, BEWARE. Take your money elsewhere as you will be highly disappointed. My son was set up for success in pre-k and is now excelling in kindergarten thanks to GHM and the teachers. Our family has an infant and a toddler at Growing Hearts & Minds. We have been here over a year now and are very happy. Our children are very happy, and we see that. My wife and I have witnessed, for several hours one day, how classrooms operate simply because we care who takes care of our children and other children. Our children received the same amount of care and service as the other children while we were present. We had no complaints. This is not the cheapest facility, but it's certainly not the most expensive. Let us discuss what you really want to see. Have we had to address some things here and there? Sure. What do you ask and how often? One child was getting frequent diaper rashes at home and at daycare. We spoke with the manager and the teachers and requested cream be applied and she be changed more regularly than typical. We asked that when she starts to get red the same occur. This service requested was met with action, we did not have to ask twice. The same thing was true with our son. As one's child progresses to different classes you have different teachers. A friendly ask or reminder goes a long way. Our daughter also was not napping very well and was completely drained when she got home for a few weeks off and on. We spoke with the teachers about our concern, and they collaborated with us on what they noticed and moved her cot during nap time. Problem solved. What is my point? This place is filled with good caring people who want your child to succeed and thrive. We have and continue to see BOTH children thriving. As for staff changes, there have been some, but I would like to see an example where that is not the case. It certainly is not astronomical. Like you, our children would not be here if they weren't being well taken care of. We have yet to bring one issue all the way up to the owner due to lack of action with 2 kids in 2 different classes. Why five stars: 1. Our children are thriving and are happy here. My daughter gets excited to go and play with her friends. 2. Our children are being cared for with no reason to show otherwise. 3. Our simple asks of the staff are being met with action and not talking points. 4. Breakfast, Lunch, and snacks are served daily. This is a massive convenience. (Some do not do this, and yes, some do not even offer a fridge for the food you bring like our previous facility) 5. The hours of operation are very helpful in accommodating our work schedules, both for drop off and pickup. In closing, SORRY FOR THE BOOK, but if I am going to write a review, I want to give a useful one to other families looking for details they would be curious about for their children. First, it is important to state that we are still new to Growing Hearts and Minds within the last 6 months. During that time, the business took on new leadership and a new name and the change was rather shocking to us. I think when it comes to your children there are always nuances that you can pick apart, but what is most important to me is that I trust the people that I leave my son with. Jesse (new leadership) is excellent and has made numerous changes that (in my opinion) have added to the level of trust and accountability that is important in a childcare facility. The staff is friendly and prompt. Jesse takes care of whatever matters I email him about in a very expeditious manner and makes it a point to come out of the office and say hi anytime he sees me. Growing Hearts and Minds has consistent and local leadership. GH&M truly delivers on early childhood education with a major focus on outdoor time. Moving my kids to Growing Hearts and Minds has been a great decision. They invest in their staff and the community and it shows. We currently have two children enrolled with GH&M and believe it to be the best option in our area. Previously we utilized another center, but they had constant staff and leadership turnover. They claimed to focus on early learning and development, but they ultimately were overpriced baby sitters. Their staff wanted to do more for the kids, but were limited by teacher shortage which lead to constant turnover and frustration. Growing hearts and minds have had staff turn over but their leadership remains consistent and steadfast. read more

If you need a daycare or school that is an extension of your family then GHM Academy is the place! The school provided care for my boys for 3 years. My daughter attends Growing Hearts and Minds, and I can not say enough good things about this daycare! The care she receives here is extraordinary. The teachers go above and beyond every day. I receive pictures of her throughout the day playing and learning. They even teach sign language to the young toddlers, and she has been signing at home now! Everything is communicated quickly and efficiently, so you don't ever have to worry about missing an important message. They also offer competitive rates. This center is top-notch! Can't keep staff and the care of children is very questionable. Some teachers are great but never last. Inconsistent and unethical

My daughter has been here since she was an infant and is now 4 years old. The teachers are amazing and my daughter has learned so much. I love hearing about all the activities she gets to enjoy while she is there and knowing that she is in a fun, safe and caring environment! We have two children in different rooms at Growing Hearts & Minds. We all love it here! When we started here earlier this year our children were 1.5 and 3.5. I noticed immediately that our older child was more engaged and better stimulated compared to our previous daycare. The staff is excellent! That is what is most important for us. Earlier this year the ownership changed and the new owner has implemented some great programs for all of the kids to enjoy (soccer days, music days) at no additional cost to the families. My sons look forward to these activities each week. It is such a good feeling to feel confident about where my children are and who they are with when they can't be with me. We have two kids here and love the care and attention they get every day by the staff. We love all of the teachers there. The kids look forward to going to "school" and all of the activities that they plan for them. It is a very good learning environment and they really teach them a lot. My daughter has been attending this center for 3 years. I can't recommend Growing Hearts and Minds highly enough. The new owner is caring and attentive with an obvious love for the kiddos in his care. The teachers in every room that our daughter has ever been in were caring and so easy to bond with. My daughter loves the environment and they have recently brought in special activities such as music class and soccer several times each week. I get pictures of my daughter through the tadpoles app that show me how much fun she is having throughout the day and give me peace of mind that she is being well cared for. Her current teacher is even teaching her to speak French! Love this place. Highly Recommend! read more
