I have been here a few times but I wanted to make sure I had a complete "feel" for this place prior to writing this review. Upon walking into this store my first impression: It smelled really clean and was very well organized! Usually when you enter a second hand store there is a "smell" but there was no issue here. Next impression: Awesome! They carry CLOTH DIAPERS (new and excellent used condition) and some accessories. Pocket Diapers, AIO, Rockin' Green Detergent, and Osocozy Liners and much more. Oh what?! There's a mini playing area too! Their pricing is inexpensive to moderate. I was able to purchase a Medium Fuzzibunz Pocket Diaper with a microfiber insert for $5. I personally haven't had any issues with them. Elastics/Snaps are in place. It's been almost a month and haven't had any issues with repelling/stench. I did sell some items to them (at the moment they are doing TRADES ONLY) and was able to buy 6 pocket cloth diapers with an overage of $4. That's such a great deal especially for a family that is try to save money! Here's how they got all their stars from me: We were in the area and decided to return to their store (2 days) after selling items to them to see how much they were selling the items that I had sold to them. Was referred to this place by a fellow yelper after the birth of my son in January. Just getting out and about to check it out since the little one has already outgrown some clothes. So you can trade in clothes and almost all baby items. They take all current season and up to date items. It may seem they give little for trade ins but once you look at the prices it's no worry!! Hey at leas the way the little one is growing it won't all go to donations. Whatever they do not take they will donate to charity as well. Fab!! Let just say I went a bit crazy between the used and new items. The eco toys they offer are wonderful. I'm always on the hunt for all wooden toys. Moms to be should check it out for baby gear too! I absolutely love this place and I bought almost everything for my second baby from here. Being a second time Mom I didn't feel like everything had to be name brand and new. Buying things at a discount and used was perfect because babies don't need stuff for that long and they really don't need that much stuff at all. the staff is always friendly and there is always plenty of merchandise to choose from. I haven't returned anything for money or store credit yet but when I do I will update my review. I only wish that they had maternity clothes because that would make their place even better but I can see that they probably don't have room for it. read more

I need to practice some MAJOR self control in this place! It is a treasure trove of new and gently used baby clothes and accessories and it is DANGEROUS for your pocketbook. Are you in need of a hand appliqued sugar skull onsie, with a handmade matching bib, with a handmade matching baby headband? Of course you don't need this...but TRUST me you will be convinced you have to have it. How about retro smurf fabric turned into the most adorable baby boy shirt. Sigh. They are also a new and used cloth diaper HQ. And they took this totally clueless bun-in-oven mom-to-be and educated me! They spent at least 30 minutes going over each cover, each insert, each brand, each detergent. It was exactly what we needed. They have swaddlers, baby carriers, pregnancy pillows, nursing pillows, co-sleepers, bouncers, swings, strollers. They put new items on facebook and if you comment on it, they will hold it for you. They even have awesome paper mobiles that are fair trade, which I want every single one, from the vegetables to the whales of the ocean, all are super cute. So, if you have a wee one, or know someone who does, I cannot recommend this place enough! Plus, keep your things in good condition and they will purchase them off of you. read more

I found this place through a friend and I'm so glad I did! They have quality new and previously loved clothing, toys, carriers, changing pads, and other items for infants to toddlers and their prices are quite good. This store not only offers a great selection of merchandise but occasionally they hold mini-photo shoots in store through Ann Bradford Photography and they offer free cloth diapering classes! I've been here a handful of times since having my son and it's usually okay. The merch isn't a problem. I expect to not find everything I need being that the inventory is naturally selective, and that doesn't bother me one bit. What bothers me is that the customer service is okay on their best days. I've never gone in and been greeted genuinely and most of the women give off an energy that is uninviting, as if they're too busy to be bothered. There has been two different women on two separate occasions that once I did talk to them, they were pleasant and I enjoyed them but I had to begin the conversation and hold it. Also, the trade in value doesn't seem fitting, though, being that I do not understand how that is decided, I suppose it could be fair. My husband went for the first time and I asked him how he liked it and more particularly, how the customer service was and he agreed it was lagging without my biased opinion on it. My point with this review is that, I love shopping local and I'm all about local businesses thriving but customer service is key. Having worked customer service for about 7 years, I understand the "everyone has bad days" but It's stuck with me that every time I go inside, I leave feeling annoyed/like a bother. What's the deal? Anyway, I'm sure one negative review won't change anything but I sure hope that maybe it makes your employees think about how they're presenting themselves. I mean, we are there to give you our money. I don't support this local business anymore simply because of that. But I do love the store and the concept. And one last thought, the clientele you bring in are usually Mother's and we are all losing our minds on a regular basis and could probably use a nice smile and friendly small talk. read more

I have been coming here for years, trading in clothes and buying clothes with no problems. They have a great selection and I like the idea of re-using items that are have only been used for a wee bit of time. I have no qualms with the merchandise. The reason I gave 2 stars is because, while I have been coming here for years, I never remember them telling me that trade-in credit expires after 1 year. I had a card with trade-in credit listed at a little less than $40. I was super excited to go and spend this money there, but once I arrived at the register was told that they couldn't credit me the money (for items I sold to them), because it was from 2016 (2 years ago). I am not sure why this credit expires. The reasoning of it makes no sense to me and I am a little saddened that this happened. So a word of warning, when trading in items, get cash, not credit. read more

There are two child resale places in town that are worth going to. This one and sweet repeats off Oracle. Here's the pros and cons: Little bird -large inventory of baby clothes up to 12m but then slims down the older you go. -I'm not sure what they wash there clothes with but the smell in the clothes takes forever to get out even after stripping the clothes. So if you are sensitive to laundry detergent smells or chemicals I would recommend not buying their clothing. -the clothing is usually pieced out.So you may not find the matching top or bottom. -there is a large inventory of toys -they have the Best Buy back pricing I have found when trading in items. -overall reasonable pricing -they don't allow for "wish lists" but they do do holds. -good customer service if they are slow otherwise they tend to seem to busy to really give you personal customer service, still friendly though. Sweet repeats -smaller selection of toys -larger selection of clothing in various sizing. -more higher end name brands -clothes have less of a smell to them -large shoe selection -pricing can tend to be slightly higher on shoes but clothing sets are typically kept together in my experience. -the store allows for you to ask for certain items and if they get them in they will call you. They do not hold items for you. -I find you may pay a bit more for items at this store but the customer service is more personalized. Overall either store is a good deal just depends on what your looking for. read more

I'm assuming she was the manager and while I was waiting for my trade to be completed she was talking bad about employees with this other employee (shouldn't that be done in the back room where no customers can hear?) I really like this baby store, and am always glad when more independent baby stores open in Tucson. I like to stop in here while taking the kids on a walk in the early evening down 4th Aveenue. So I actually think their hours are really cool - how many other baby stores are open till 9? Only the big boxes, that I know of. The store looks very cute inside, with a pretty good assortment new and used things, as well as items hand-made by local people. They have cloth diapers, handmade blankies, mobiles, toys, and of course clothes. Prices vary from very cheap (used clothes) to pricey, but things seem to be priced about right. Whenever I've gone, the people there have always been very friendly. Big bonus: They have a little corner area set aside with lots of toys and books just for your kids to play in! So you can actually shop in peace. :) The only negatives for me are sometimes walking past the Goodwill nearby can have some unsavory people with big scary dogs. And they don't buy your clothes for resale - you can only do it via consignment. Overall a really cool place though! read more

My best friend is pregnant and I just had to stop by this shop that is so close to where I live, and I'm glad I did. Although small, this place is jam packed with stuff. It is a secondhand store, but everything in stock is in amazing shape and looks almost new. Honestly, what a great idea this is, considering how fast babies grow! I bought a small toy and drool bib and was so happy with the selection available. There are a few items that are new and made by small artists (the drool bib was one of these items) that offer a more funky style than what is expected from ordinary baby stuff. I can't say enough great reasons why this place is so great. The fact alone that parenting with different items, toys, clothes, shoes, bedding, strollers, and anything else is a gamble. What works for one child may not work for another. Every human being is unique and beautiful in their own way. This place allows you a reasonable trade, or cash trade in policy. Great quality is found here every time we come. The help are top notch with what they carry. I even had an employee fit me for a child carrier for a trip with my son. Honestly obsessed with this place. I've both purchased from, and brought things in for trade- both awesome experiences for me! I will say that I have worked in resale and consignment before so I usually have a good idea of what my stuff is worth, and I was very very happy with my payout and what they took. The best part about this place is they get the stuff out FAST, which means there's new stuff on the floor constantly. One day I called and asked if they had a Bumbo seat and they told me they had just sold the last one but had some other variations, I came in 2 days later and they had three colors to choose from! They have the cutest clothes and it's all priced very very well, tons of baby stuff from $1 and bigger kids clothes from $3. Cribs, car seats, swings, eco friendly toys and clothes, local art and products, great selection of swaddles and muslin blankets. Stuff for moms too! I've seems nursing bras, they have nursing covers and some great diaper bags. Honestly I could go on and on about this place but the bottom line is it's 100% worth you going and checking it out. read more

I do not recommend this store for trading. I recently brought in several brand new onesies, sock sets, and a full crib set (minus the mobile), and was given $11 in credit. All of the items were brand new shower gifts that I did not have receipts for. One even came from her store--but I had no receipt for it either (though I imagine she recognized it). At the time I knew what she offered me was terrible for what I gave her, but I maybe because I was 9 mos pregnant, I did not have the energy to fight. My husband and I returned yesterday, mostly to cash in our credit and wash this lame business out of our lives forever. I ended up taking the baby to the car to nurse, but not before telling her my name so she could look up our credit, which she keeps a log of. While shopping we spotted the brand new crib set I had turned in to her on sale for $29!! My husband asked her about the very low value she assigned to our items when I turned them in versus the price at which she was selling our stuff. Remember, I gave her several ietems, probably 8-10 total, and received all of $11, including that brand new crib set. Anyway, she made up some lie (while I was in the car) about my having used part of the credit already. Obviously, she keeps a log the credit totals by customer name, so she knows that's a lie. She said she gives about 40% the value at which she will sell--another LIE. We'll not be going back there, and better, will share our experience with others. I'm not one to sweat the small stuff, but I don't appreciate petty lies and petty businesses. read more

I wandered into this store for the first time this weekend after shopping at the next-door toy store, looking to accomplish some early Christmas shopping for my nieces and nephews. As a new Mom, I just LOVE this little store! It's AMAZING how fast our little ones go through clothes, toys, etc., and here I can buy all of those things at a price that doesn't make me cringe when they outgrow them!
