The second you walk in, you're hit with this gorgeous, sleek "all-white everything" aesthetic,white walls, white floors, everything. It creates the absolute perfect backdrop because when the art displays are up, the colours and textures just completely pop. The concept here is amazing: it's entirely dedicated to local Canadian talent. The exhibition when I went was stunning, and I even got the chance to meet one of the actual artists right there in the space! The staff members were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which gave the space a warm, accessible atmosphere. It's a beautifully curated, smaller gallery, and the fact that it is free to visit is incredible. They do rotating exhibitions, so there's always something new to experience. I'm genuinely obsessed and cannot wait to go back!

I was referred to Sharon's shop by a friend. Sharon was great, loves what she does, and spent quite a bit of time with me choosing a particular frame for my painting. Admittedly, I left still shocked about the cost of framing, but with an appreciation that it does either emphasize the artwork OR does absolutely nothing for it. Sharon totally understood and even provided me with a couple of names of other framing businesses in the area to seek more quotes! Who does that? So I may be back! Me being the lazy person I am, I decided to get it framed the night before his ceremony. I went to two different framing shops and they said they'd need a couple days to frame it so I just gave up. I passed by this shop whilst going home and decided to stop by. I told the owner about my situation and he put aside what he was doing to work on re-framing my grandpas prized heirloom. Told me to come back in 2 hours. Great staff, very friendly, loads of selections and very convenient location, located right beside Spadina Station. Professional and well maintained shop.

They had my contacts and said they would get back to me when it was finished but were very busy and it could be a while. Never heard from them again. Realized a week ago (Aug. 2020) still hadn't heard. Went to the store and found it locked and vacant. I paid more than $200 for the frame, and the painting is worth hundreds more. None of their contacts work now, so they've vanished without a trace. With my painting. Guess i'll never get it back.
