I wandered around happily looking at all the pretty colours and textures of ribbon and trim. I started dreaming about making tutus and random pretty things. I blame my mother for sending me to ballet classes when I was younger and leaving me with the urge to dress in pink and ribbons. The staff are friendly and allow you to browse without bothering you. Even if, like me, you wander in looking like a sunburnt vagrant. Be very very careful to check the prices though. I bought some pretty standard ribbon at $7.50/m (eek) but there were some that were over $20/m. You could definitely get ribbon cheaper, but I'm not sure everywhere would make it look quite so appealing and pretty!

Quality is decent for most items, prices are quite good overall, and the range of products packed into the two storefronts makes this a worthwhile stop any day.Last trip I mostly picked up strands of chips, but they have previously been one of my better sources for druzies, raw stones and really unusual drilled stones such as astrophyllite and hypersthene. The lower-end shop usually has one of the better prices on bulk key rings you can find in a retail store. LIke most of these bead shops on Queen, they are always running multiple overlapping discount deals and sales, as well as offering a frequent buyer card that is supposed to expire but that they always renew for me (maybe because I am from out of town?) It gets kind of complicated to figure out how to get the best deal, and they are always keen to push you to buy just.one.more.item to take your order to the next discount level. I don't always find that to be worth it.
