A Hidden Gem in Little Italy!…read more I love exploring art galleries, and The Local Gallery completely blew me away! The second you walk in, you're hit with this gorgeous, sleek "all-white everything" aesthetic,white walls, white floors, everything. It creates the absolute perfect backdrop because when the art displays are up, the colours and textures just completely pop. The concept here is amazing: it's entirely dedicated to local Canadian talent. The exhibition when I went was stunning, and I even got the chance to meet one of the actual artists right there in the space! The staff members were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which gave the space a warm, accessible atmosphere. It's a beautifully curated, smaller gallery, and the fact that it is free to visit is incredible. They do rotating exhibitions, so there's always something new to experience.
