We ordered beef fillet with foie gras which was amazing and cheesy pizza I think around 3am. Did not taste like 3am food. Was phenomenal. Lobby: a work of art. Pool: The pool is a little lackluster but we weren't there for the pool anyways, and the private garden was great for intimate drinks and snacks. Loved the staff here and the very nice pool restrooms. SEEN Sky Bar: when I stayed here, I did not realize that this rooftop bar was a highlight of the city. On weekends closer to 8 PM, it starts to get incredibly packed up here and I would highly recommend a reservation if you're planning on grabbing more than just a drink. We let them know of our 9:45 am arrival and greatly appreciated that they had a room ready for us and even upgraded to a city view. The room was a comfortable size with a large table and two chairs. The Fine hotel welcome gift was three maroons each representing different tastes of locations in Portugal with a small bottle of port - really nice welcome gift! For night lights, if you leave the closet door open, the light is motion activated and the vanity mirror light can be left on. The shower was in the tub with high sides. There is a toilet and separate bidet. My two dislikes were: It was difficult to get to the toilet unless you closed the bathroom door or squeezed around the door, since the toilet was behind the door. The other was the shower - you had to get into the tub to turn on the water, so you are likely to get some cold water on you unless you knew exactly how to adjust the various knobs so the water came out of the handheld showerhead vs the overhead shower or the faucet. I appreciated the Nespresso espresso maker and refrigerator and bottles of water. I also appreciated the new boxes of tissues when I showed an empty box due to my cold/bronchitis. Wonderfully plush slippers - I think the best I have felt in any hotel. The hotel is on the "Champs-Élysées" Portugal version street with luxury stores and tented vendors on the weekends. It is a short walk, 10 minutes, to the Parque Edwardo VII park where the Hop On/Hop Off and Cityrama Gray Line tour buses are located. I was impressed by the breakfast buffet every day and the staff. We came first thing and also one day towards the end - the food was always fresh, refreshed, and delicious - with eggs, breakfast meats, cold cuts, cheeses, waffles, and beautiful fresh, sliced fruit and several fruit juices. You can also get coffee or cappuccinos. The staff was always attentive, whisking away a used plate and giving you fresh silverware. We ate at Seen Lisboa and Cervejaria Liberdade Portugese restaurants enjoyed the cuisine.

On our second visit we ordered the special degustation menu for two people. It was priced at 69 euros per person and it was amazing and portions were large. It included five courses plus a dessert sample platter. We only ate the first four courses and then informed the server to not have the chef make the fifth course. We forced ourselves to eat desserts and they were both spectacular. The room was very large with a huge balcony and views of Lisbon. The hotel and rooms are well insulated and we never heard any noise from adjacent rooms or the hallways. A room safe large enough for a laptop and valuables was perfect. Views from the rooftop running track were stunning. The bathroom was huge with separate areas for the sinks, the shower, the toilet and the deep bathtub. The toiletries were high end products from L'Occitane. This is a true luxury hotel with service and food to match. We highly recommend this hotel!

We weren't in the room for long as we quickly changed, headed out to dinner, and by the time we came back, it was time to go to sleep for our flight the next morning. Yes, water is like 2.5 euros but for the huge bottle, that's not bad at all to me. +I personally love where this is located at. It's a quick walk to the Tagus and a lot of the coastal sights, restaurants and not too far from other metros. Also easy to hail a taxi. Also, if you like to party/go to Pink Street, its so close and easy to get to. Pro/Con: +/- Noise-wise, I was placed in a room on the 2nd floor near the alleyway. I heard a tiny bit of noise from the busy Pink Street area below, so it wasn't that bad. Would just check in with the lobby to see if you can be placed higher if you think the noise is going to be an issue. Also, if you're not going to be going to Pink Street at all, you may run into both drunken party patrons or the 'drug dealers' accidentally as you try to get elsewhere. Wasn't a big deal and can just ignore them, but just as a FYI. +/- The rooms have a slightly weird card system in which you have to keep your card near the key reader in order to open. The trick (as someone in the lobby taught me) was just to press up the higher part of the card against the reader and hold it there. Cons: -There was only one plug that I could find in the room, so if you need a few items that need charging, you will just have to make sure to change things out. -Super small desk. So if you need to work or want to read/write at a desk, it'll be a bit tough. Love that it was so close to Time Out Market and the metro/train station to some of the other cities. Unfortunately our "Classic" room's view had of the backside of another building but we did appreciate the balcony. Breakfast was not included in our rate. Coffee is not available in the rooms or lobby in the early morning and the breakfast seemed to have a late start. Thankfully, there's a pastelaria across the street on the corner. The bathroom was very sleek and modern, but the entire wall and floor (including inside the step-in shower) is covered in some strange fabric. I cannot imagine what the actual floor beneath that fabric in the shower looks like in regard to hair and soap residue. The shower had a traditional European wand option and a ceiling-mounted head, not making it convenient for women who don't want to get their hair wet to shower.

The head of the housecleaning department even repaired (sewed) a pair of pants I tore on my visit-talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. The hotel offers its guests a number of freebies that are much appreciated. Besides complimentary cook to order breakfast the hotel offers 3 free walking tours around the city and in room mini bar items-such as water, soft drinks, and beer-are also complimentary. The hotel even has various snacks (cookies, snacks, some food items) offered to guests in the lobby entrance as well as a daily happy hour. One final bonus are the 17th century ruins in the downstairs lounge area. Finally, the location is excellent. Corpo Santo is about a minute walk from Pink Street, 5 minute walk from Time Out Market, and very close to a number of tourist attractions in a less densely populated area than other hotels I looked at as well as a short walk from the water. Very easy for Uber drivers to find the hotel. This was my first visit to Lisbon but if I return I will definitely stay again at Corpo Santo. Muito bom!!

The connecting room setup worked perfectly for us, plenty of space between the two rooms, and the staff had clearly thought through what families actually need, right down to the football shirts waiting for our kids on arrival. What really stood out was the spa, chromotherapy showers, a jacuzzi, and this bucket contraption that tips warm water on you when you least expect it, sounds odd but the kids were obsessed. Add in a genuinely excellent dinner at the in-house restaurant and a location that puts you right in the middle of old Lisbon, and it's easy to see why this place is so well rated. Would book again without hesitation.
