Against my better judgement, I stayed and had a horrible time because I was in a bad mood because of that. I'm on vacation and my honey wanted to treat me! Ended up being very happy. The $18 manicure is the same price I pay for in DC (Hello Gorgeous had a 15% discount special), but they don't put on a top coat, (I used a computer for my line of work) so I'm worried that the paint will chip soon. My first appointment wasn't written on the book and even after I sent a text saying I would be late…read more(in the text they said it was ok) I showed for my first facial sugar wax to be told they couldn't get me in because they were double booked for my appointment. I did send an email about my dissatisfaction to the email address listed on the website and it has been over a month with no reply. The place is hard to identify because they do not have a name/sign on the outside (not that I could see anyway). And when you look inside it has the appearance of a shop not a salon. I've had sugar waxes before and never left in so much pain or bleeding. I also didn't like having a finger in my mouth. My third and final visit was the worst. The sugar wax was too hot. I was burned on my lip from the wax. It scabbed/blistered and is now peeling. I would compare this burn to a sun burn blister or a curling iron burn. I was also burned right below my eyebrow, but that one isn't as bad is the lip.

So I took the plunge and thought well getting another pedicure will not hurt anything but my pocket book. The store is cozy, warm and very clean. I liked the atmosphere. The young lady was super friendly and kind, I liked her as a person. On these points I would return. In regard to quality I will not return. I am currently dealing with super rough heels to the point I can use my fingers to pull lifted skin off the bottom of my feet. Also while sleeping they feel rough up against my skin. This is frustrating since I do get pedicures often and never have this issue. For the cost it is the most expensive in town and due to this I expect detail and high quality for me to want to return.
