Immediately greeted when we walked in the door by the gentleman at the front desk named Billy. Loved that he was cleaning up to make sure the place was nice. He asked us right away what we wanted & showed us where the colors were. We had questions about the colors & he helped us right away. They put us in our chairs for our pedicures & the lady started on my mother's feet & I had to wait a few minutes for my service to start. LOVED how the nail tech talked to us the entire time. Asked about our family and had good casual conversation. While I waited for my feet to get done Billy started the water & made sure I was comfortable, asked if I was okay as well. They also gave us bottled waters. A young girl named Jenny came over to do my feet and she was spectacular. I told her I didn't want my toes cut down too low and I like my nails cut square. She did just that. Amazing job & very friendly. My mother loved her toes and so do I. Billy didn't sit down the entire time we were there as he was making sure everyone in the salon was taken care of and he was constantly cleaning up and making sure things looked presentable. Variety of color choices and they even have a gel powder option that apparently supports healthy nails. Great nail salon & it wasn't crowded on a Tuesday at 4:30pm. The other review is true. My gel nails chipped the NEXT day. I went back and they made me wait until they finished servicing a different patron. 1 nail to repair v. 10 nails to paint is a big difference. Waiting 40 minutes after already waiting my turn a day prior was disrespectful. No apologies or any attempts to make it right. After she finished the person they asked if she left a tip. Do not waste your time here... find another nail salon. I got my nails done here because they were close to TJ Maxx. Big mistake, I should have believed the reviews. Got acrylic nails and they were chipping the next week. Went back to get them redone and they had an attitude and decided to make me wait. One lady got smart with me when I asked her how long would I have to wait. I told her I already paid for the nails and should have to wait for 45 minutes to be served. Although I love her work I feel a bit rushed and not always listened to. At first I thought it was a fluke but with every visit my nails have always lifted. The last time I went there was someone there that had fungus. I thought to myself, "that must suck" no way it'll happen to me. I decided to go back to a different nail salon closer to home today (I have been to them before but was looking for a place that could do designs) and had them remove the acrylic so that I can get dip instead. As they were soaking my nails off I started to see a dark spot on my right middle finger but thought maybe it was old nail polish . Well , turned out to be fungus. I've never had this happen to me. I decided to let my nails breathe and the sweet young lady recommended a fungal medicine for me to purchase. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to this establishment. I spend 2 hours just to find out she was over booked. She never plan on doing my nails. She is not the original own of this nail salon. I went to Lisa Nails and Spa on Thursday afternoon, 7/13 for a Basic Manicure and Pedicure for the first time. The pedicure is as basic as they come, a slight scrub with a pumice stone, I had to request that my nails be trimmed. My feet were ashy when I left, because the woman used a minuscule amount of lotion, Shown in picture. On Saturday, I had to return to shop because my nails had chipped so terribly on my right hand. It was done over. On Monday, 7/17, less than a week after spending over $50.00, I called Lisa to let her know how terribly my manicure turned out. I asked her for the manicure money back. She said, no refund, I could come over to have it redone. Here's the thing, why would I go back when they did such a terrible job, twice. She explained that regular manicures don't last long. I responded, granted, but it wasn't even 1 week. My take is this, they want to upsell Gel Manicures and Pedicures, they want people to pay more, but, it's Bad business practice. If I want a basic mani/pedi, it should last at least a week. There are other reviews about this very issue. I wish I had checked the Reviews before going there. read more

The one person that gave them 5 stars refers to the owner as a man, but it's a woman. I think she rated the wrong place. Everyone else's experience has been awful. My experience: The experience at this nail spa was the absolute WORST pedicure EVER. My feet looked worse when Lisa finished than they did upon arrival. They punish you for not getting a callous treatment by not doing a thorough regular pedicure. They don't use foot files or other foot tools to slough your feet like other nail salons do. Lisa Nails takes the easiest way out and demands that you only get the use of ordinary nail salon tools if you buy into their upselling of callous removal treatment. I didn't have any callouses and did not know that they are too stupid (or greedy) to know the difference between callous removal and an ordinary pedicure. Their massage chairs don't work properly and they can't even polish properly. No wonder there was no wait and 90% empty chairs. Stay away from this salon. I would give them a minus 5 if I could. read more

I have been getting my nails done for decades. My nails were done by 2 people each nail was shaped different, cut too short, and acrylic was too thick....When I arrived to the shop I had made an appointment for a specific technician on the book and she says she didn't know about my appointment???? so she was double booked and someone else had to do 3/4 of the services. I arrived before 9:30am for my 9:30 appt and didn't get out until after 11am and I only had 1 service done. This is the second time this has happened I paid for the services and left. I was not satisfied with the appearance of my nails so I went to another shop and had my nails redone. I won't be going back there again. read more

I do not recommend this nail place to anyone. I came in to have my toe nails done for my birthday and 3 days later they were chipping off. I called right away and let her know and told her that due to my work schedule I couldn't return right away. I was unable to return until days later and when I did the manager refused to redo the nails even though I had spoke to them over the phone. Lisa is a good nail tech however when service was completed she quoted a price of $77 dollars but when I left she changed the amount charged or either decided to tip herself $28 without my permission. When I went back to confront her she lied up until I showed her my bank statement then she acted as though she didn't speak any English and could not understand. i visited this salon for the first and last time last Monday. I wanted a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was just ok, I wasn't able to really enjoy it because a second nail tech came to stand by my side to do my manicure. I was asked to reach across my body to extend my opposite arm to her. To top it off there was no soaking my hands, cleaning of my cuticles. I was also brought a bowl to just rinse my hands off. I got white polish on my nails and toe nails last Monday 9/20...but Wednesday the top coat had cracks in the polish and it didn't look white anymore it looks dingy. Tomorrow makes it 1 weeks since I visited the salon and my toe nail polish also likes cracked and dingy. I will not be returning to this salon. I was unhappy with the environment (should've been a sign) and I'm unhappy with the service I received. read more

am a regular customer here. But after my experience today, I will never be going to this establishment again. I just came in for my regular acrylic fill and wanted to get a pretty simple Christmas design. Before, I even started the service, I asked Lisa can she do the design. She told me she could and I trusted her because she has done pretty decent designs in the past. So, I show her my design which had a snowflake and like a gold flaky underlay. I figured that it may be difficult to do the gold flaky underlay so I told her I just wanted a clear underlay. She convinces me she can do the gold flaky underlay so I allow her to try. She continues to blot on a ton of glitter mixed with acrylic dip and it looks A HOT DAMN MESS!!! I wish I took a picture to post just how crazy it looked. It looked as if a kindergartener was trying to do arts and craft project on my damn nails. She really just played in my nails. The worker that was preparing my nails for Lisa looks at the disgust in my face and asks if I like it and I tell him directly "no, this is a mess". So she makes him spend an extra 45 minutes scrubbing off the layers of glitter and acrylic dip mixture of a mess off my nails. Then, Lisa comes up to my face and tells me she's not doing my design anymore. (She's the only person in the place that can really design). But, the worker (such a sweetheart) that was doing my nails offered to do my snowflake design (he never designs) and it comes out AMAZING!! I was very proud of his work. Honestly probably better than what she was going to do. He saves my day. I was there for over 2 hours when the service is usually under a hour. The whole time I was there she is talking about me to all her workers in her language. I think they honestly was on my side because they saw how crazy it looked themselves but was too afraid to say anything because Lisa is the owner. But, hey I guess it's hit and miss just like any nail salon. After, she showed me her true colors, I will be taking my money to a better establishment. read more

I am a very big but beautiful woman. Normally, these nail places do not do a very good job on my feet. But this place has the best pedicure service that I have ever experienced. The owner stays on his people to make sure that you get what you ask for and they are very professional and courteous. I will make them my staple. Praise God, I have finally found my nail spa. The guy who did my nails was quick but because of it was very sloppy. I told him I wanted my nails medium and he cut them way to short and then shaped them using scissors so my nails are crooked. My sister also got her nails done and unlike with mine they were shaped a little more nicely but when she got them painted, a young girl painted them, she didn't get close to the cuticle. I asked and my sister said the guy didn't even go all the way down with the acrylic. Her nails looked like she needed a fill in when she just got them. Oh my goodness, If you EVER happen to come to this sorry ass "spa" pleaseeeeee, do not let ANYONE OTHER than the only woman that works there do your eyebrows. I came in not too long ago and got my eyebrows waxed, normally the woman does it and it is just perfect however, this time a guy did it and i was skeptical because wtf do guys really know about waxing a brow lol, anyway, i thought he was doing a good job but when he showed me the mirror 99.8% of my eyebrows were gone... I had thick eyebrows I even let them grow out just for him to waxed it all the hell off. I looked at it my eyebrows look like they just ran off my damn face! I even tipped him because it would have been foul if i did it, he sure enough took that tip and went on doing some ladys nails, i was so upset i just ran to the car to look at them, and immediately ran back and that store and told the lady to fix it! and she did the best she could it was already thin as hell so there is not much she can do but she shaped it how I wanted to, guy ain't even say sorry NOTHING. they just demanded me to pay right after I'm like damn can I get over the fact he just took all my eyebrows off??? anyways if you are just coming for brows have the LADY do it. no one else. read more
