Finding a therapist is an strange mix, of science and magic. Lisa has the education, experience, and training that is essential for a provider, but combines it with caring, encouragement, and most importantly effective counseling. She has a background in trauma that was the key to helping me unlock my potential and begin to manage my anxiety disorder. Liking your therapist is important, but making progress is vital. I feel very lucky to have found in Lisa someone who cared and listened with kindness and empathy, but also had the skill to teach me how to make real progress in managing my mental health. read more
