I found Deb on Yelp about 3 years ago. The journey we have taken since has been incredible and life changing for me. After a grueling year and a half working in live action film, I was exhausted and depressed. I was also 24 and ashamed to admit that I felt tired, in any fashion, before 30. I had a lot of baggage that had piled up over the past year, and even more from childhood I'd yet to ever touch. Throughout the past year of my time with Deb, I've found a peace, clarity, and acceptance of myself within my own life that once felt impossible to achieve. As I'm writing this review, it occurs to me that I found Deb Elkin via Yelp. I walked into our first meeting not knowing how to communicate or what to communicate about why I was there. Within 20 min of talking, I knew I'd found the person to help me. Deb is caring and compassionate as well as a wealth of knowledge and advice. Over the past 2 years I have learned how to deal with family, how to express myself without becoming angry, and more so, how to love the different psyches that make me who I am today. In a few sessions, I was able to bring up and out some deep anger and sadness that I had been holding in my body for years.
