This is my goto place for anything remotely spicy and Chinese fare. I am always greeted with a smile and the question of, if I will have my favorite dish. Most of Chinese restaurants in Denmark have given up on Danish people going for something with a bit of a kick. However, this place owned by a husband and wife team that haven't altogether forgone the chilies and spicing things up. Especially after they get to know you and that you can tolerate the taste for something fiery. I am sure the cook keeps trying to see if my tolerance for chili has reached a threshold every time I order my favorite. He knows I like it strong and hot and he never fails to disappoint me.
If you are looking for something that will burn your taste buds, then I suggest their Indonesian version of Nasi Goreng, which is by far their spiciest dish. It is a fried rice dish that comes with beef, pork, chicken and shrimp. There is also a fried egg on top. Something a bit milder is their other dishes offered with a chili sauce. My favorite is the duck and their various sauces. One can also ask to add a kick of chili to their noodle and other rice dishes, they are more than willing to do this for you.
Don't get me wrong, not all their dishes are spicy, they offer also other Chinese fare, to match your taste buds. I just wish they had a proper restaurant or a slightly bigger place with some seating so they can perhaps alter the Danes taste buds for something that has more taste.
This place is mostly strictly take away, like most other Chinese or sushi take away restaurants. Yes it also looks like most grill places with limited seating. They also offer the standard traditional grill fare for those who want hamburgers and kebabs. However, ordering such things I believe the guests are missing out on the Chinese and Indonesian dishes. read more
