Which so far is our cheapest meal in Copenhagen and gave us a large amount of food. We also got some extras added to our order on the house. The owner seems to run the shop on his own and is extremely friendly. His hospitality and generosity along with the food has made this meal the favorite of our trip.

And I was not disappointed. First it was conveniently located right next to the IKEA. Next it had picnic tables outside. The wait staff was very pleasant. The customers seem happy to be there. I don't know what the legacy is about? But the burger is very good. I'm posting a picture of my burger half eaten. Along with the wild french fries. They have regular french fries too however, they have french fry crisps that are very peppery. They almost taste like the batter on Kentucky fried chicken. And they have multiple sauce-types, including Béchamel sauce! There's another sandwich that I want to try that looks like battered pounded chicken or pork; schnitzel-like! They have a great marinade on it, and it's (usually) always nice and juicy. It's nice ordering a 1/2 chicken menu which you can either get a salad, baked potato, scalloped potatoes or french fries. I've tried all of these except the baked potato. All of which are great! The salad is filled with a lot of different veggies as well as jalapenos, cheese & kidney beans. Making it more exciting. Their scalloped potatoes are super tasty! Super creamy & taste great. I have had it once or twice that they're not the best & taste a bit off & not as creamy, but it's rare this happens. Great french fries. Super crispy & just how they should be. Have also tried their chicken & bacon sandwich (Which on the menu comes with regular chicken but they also have a spiced chicken that is super tasty you can ask for). Their tuna sandwich is good too, but i prefer the chicken sandwich. They make great pizzas as well. I think the best pizzas I've found are: Husets Pizza, Margherita Special & the Salami pizza. I love their ranch burger, which has honey/mustard dressing, bacon, cheddar cheese & onion rings. Seriously. Onion rings on burger = perfection. They also give you the choice of either a white bun or whole wheat bun. Definitely get whole wheat! The white i've found to be too dry/crunchy, but the whole wheat is super tasty! The reason why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is simply because I find their other food to not be as spectacular as their burgers. Pizza is decent, but you can find better. Same goes with sandwiches. This place is all about the burgers, hense the name.

MAOBAO, where art thou?…read more The only bad thing about this place is that they're never around when you're having ultimate craving for fluffy white bao with pork fillings and peanut crumblings on it. No, seriously bro - what's an Asian girl got to do here to have an easy access to those divine baos? I have tried baos here and there, but MAOBAO wins the fluffiest bao competition hand down although the fillings can be better varied, but I ain't complaining here. With the price of 60 kr for two baos, it's a little bit steep everywhere else but Denmark (well, maybe not Norway but I am not even sure if there are baos up there in the arctic circle) but I would definitely shut up and let them take my money. For now, I would just have to stalk them on social media to find out where they're going to appear next.
